WE ESCAPED!!!!!!!!!!! We did blood of the original room with a group of 4. It was so fun! Complex in puzzle solving, made you really have to think! We had a blast, our host was great:) They have another room we are excited to try! Highly recommend!

    Odd location but amazing experience

I am late to the escape room...like a decade late-I know. But after my first experience at Keystone Escape Room, I was hooked! This place is so great, the story experience, the decorations and the room itself, all are amazing! It was so good, I booked the second room experience after a few weeks of trying the first one. The staff said they are working on a third room that will hopefully open soon. Not soon enough for me because I am hooked and I am afraid other escape room businesses won't be as great as this place.

My partner and I went to celebrate our marriage and it was the best! It was our first time to this location as well and we couldn't have asked for a better host or game partner (thanks, Jim!). The game starts as soon as you get to the location. There's a gate with a QR code that you scan to receive a puzzle for the main gate code (code is blacked out in my photo). Once you get in, you head down the stairs to the main entrance and find your host (hopefully, it's Max!). You walk in to find an on-theme lobby area and a dimly lit hallway. The lights also flicker to add to the ambiance, which in hindsight was great. I had to use the restroom, which was all the way down the dimly lit hallways and I was a little bit of a wuss puss because of the flickering lights, so Max was kind enough to walk me all the way. If you've never done an escape room, they give you the low down as expected, but if you have, you get right into the game and start your game as soon as you're ready. We took on the dragon room and beat it with a minute and a half to spare! The intro was very well told by Max while Jim supported us with additional clues and confirmations along the way. When we finished, Max took our pictures and even allowed us to hold the winning crystal and have the photo in the room as well. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience. Max and Jim were so much fun and they added some extra fun with a little magic and lore, but I'll leave them to share those bits so as to not spoil your fun. We can't wait to go back!

This was our first escape room experience. We did The Blood of the Original. We were 4 adults which was a really good number of people for this one. We had so much fun! The game was clever. Occasional clues were available our host, "Keys" was friendly, fun and in character. We all agreed we would be back to do the other game because we had so much fun. As we had never done an escape room before, I can't compare it to others but if you haven't ever done one, don't be intimidated. I would highly recommend

What a great time we had!! My wife and I went with our friends and took on the dragon room and made it out with 4:30 left! The room design and game design is awesome, they did a fantastic job creating it. These rooms are designed differently than the other ones we've tried. All the other ones you need to go clue by clue but this one you can do two different steps at once and can split up to solve them faster! Zack was very nice and helpful throughout our whole game! Jim is a big help as well, thanks for the fun time!

Once again, Keystone Escape Games blew us out of the water. The highly specialized, hand crafted and unique elements of the rooms here are beyond anything else in Reno (and elsewhere). Our Game Master Jordan was patient, charmingly in character, and so enthusiastic. You may be trying to escape the room, but the staff interactions really help you escape reality for an hour (or less if you're keen). Dragon alley in particular was so stimulating and so involved for everyone. The attention to detail was amazing and this room was so clever, it allowed me to learn how my friends think. Having done the vampire one a couple years ago, I am so impressed they were able to come up with an equally intricate and immersive experience. Come support this business - I want to see more of what they have in store!

They only have two rooms but they are one of the best escape rooms in town. Great puzzles and large, immersive rooms.

I think the novelty of experiencing something unique significantly improves ratings for most as…read moreit's far different than an escape room that almost everyone has already been to one or more times. So after the first game or two, I was envisioning a strong 5-star review. But after everything was said and done, I would feel, being very objective and unbiased, a 5.0 star would be a bit too high. More like 4.5 rounded up. Full disclosure we had 3 people which is the worst number as then you can't have two teams. But I'm disregarding that we had to play against a virtual house opponent. They actually let us play some games more than once so it had its upside too. There are 5 games based on the senses. I won't go farther as to not ruin the surprise. 3 were really fun, 1 was pretty fun, and 1 was mediocre although younger kids would like it (the balls). A couple games were more difficult than expected but still fun. The main thing that brings it down to a 4.5 for me, is the value. At $31 a person, we were done in about 50 minutes, about an hour including the orientation. Not the published 75 minutes. We felt like we wanted at least one more game to feel like it was worth the money or something far better than the quick ball game. I can see they priced it roughly around escape room prices. If you've never done it, feel $31/person is fair for an hour of entertainment, and have a group of 4-8, it's probably 5 stars. But the value would go down next visit as the uniqueness of a new experience is part of the entertainment. For us we felt dropping almost $100 on this was a tad pricey for 3 people so 4.5 stars. $25/person, would be 5.0 -stars. Staff is great. Realizing that our session might have been fast because we only had 1 team despite replaying a couple games twice, assuming a large group gets more play time and considering the two-team competition aspect, I'm rounding to a weak 5 stars. But definitely a 4-star for repeat visits.

She was very kind and had a lovely personality. She also gave us a courtesy call to ensure we located the center within the Grand Sierra Resort. What caught our eye was that we had to use one of our senses in each of the five challenges: smell, taste, touch, sight, and hearing. The day before we had gone to an escape room and were looking for more similar experiences. Some of the challenges required the team to be split into teams while other challenges required the entire team to participate. Overall, it was a great time and I highly recommend to take a few family members and friends to enjoy the experience with. They also have a snack bar there and a dart room called the Dart Side next door.

Our route started at Black Rabbit Mead and rolled through Ole Bridge Pub, Social Tap, and Our Bar, before wrapping things up at The Depot next door. The staff is awesome, and the follow car makes you feel like a local celeb as you cruise downtown. Pro tip: show up at least 30 minutes early. Black Rabbit gets crowded with multiple groups starting or ending their rides, which can slow down service and eat into your bike time.

They recommended we get there 15 minutes early, but I would definitely try to get there at least 30 to 45 minutes before to ensure you aren't cutting into your reservation time, so you can decorate, mingle, and grab a drink in Black Rabbit Mead before take off. Your time ends at the 2 hr mark regardless of when you take off. We got there as recommended and there was only one bartender for a massive group of us and another group who reserved a bike for the day, so it was pretty chaotic and took much longer than expected. I would also recommend knowing which stops you want to go to. There is a list online, so come prepared and enjoy! Overall the driver was fantastic as was the experience.
