    Hole on castle course.
    Kimber R.

So many mini golf courses lately are super worn down, and the greens show it. That is absolutely not the case at magic carpet! The greens were perfectly maintained, as well as all of the obstacles. No obvious wear and paint missing. With three courses to choose from, I wish the lady at the front desk would have been a little more helpful in telling us the difference, but she seemed pretty miserable in general. So we went with the castle course, as it was the longest. We absolutely made the right choice! The castle course had some really fun obstacles and trick holes, which always makes it more fun. A couple random holes in one, and some where I didn't do so hot made it even more fun. It wasn't super easy, but didn't leave us frustrated either. The price was great! And early summer on a weekday didn't have too many people, so we weren't rushed. We would for sure recommend magic carpet to anyone visiting.

Great wildlife and features at each hole

The engineering and creativity on each of the holes is the best I've ever seen. We played the castle (24 hole) course. Definitely worth a visit! We'll be back with our next out of town guests.

This is by far one of the BEST miniature golf places I've ever been to! Every time we come to North Shore, we stop by and visit Magic Carpet Golf. Everything is clean and neat and always working. Our favorite is the dinosaur course. It's a great thing to do with your family and friends! Highly recommend Magic Carpet Golf!

    This place rocks. Get it?

Can't say enough good things about this place. Six stars for sure. Really amazing mini golf course right on the main drag in Carnelian Bay. Three separate courses - castle (29 holes) dinosaur (19 holes) and grizzly falls (19 holes). Each has some basic holes but also a cool assortment of characters and interesting ways to make you increase your score. Highlights include the big castle with a door that opens and closes, a big spiderweb with a spider that covers the hole intermittently, A school that opens and closes, the ubiquitous windmill, a dragon and a bunch of other stuff. Prices are reasonable and there's even a really cool arcade inside with retro video games and pinball machines if you have to wait or after you're done. Honestly, this must be the best course we've played possibly ever. This place is awesome.

Great family fun, well managed and clean for recreation. Plenty of parking, and snacks with tables for seating.

Haven't played miniature golf in ages. We had a fun time on Grizzly course. Short holes but still challenging.

We did the Grizzly Falls and it had some good challenging holes (but do-able to get a hole in one).

On the positive side, there was a wide variety of slot machines and gaming options available, and I never had to wait for a machine. However, I found the gaming experience to be frustrating. I spent quite a bit of time and money playing without seeing much in the way of bonuses, entertainment, or meaningful wins, which made the experience feel more like feeding machines than having fun. The biggest issue, however, was my interaction at the cashier cage. When I went to withdraw additional funds, the employee processing the transaction began offering unsolicited commentary about how I was choosing to access money from my debit and credit cards. As an adult who is fully capable of managing my own finances, I found the interaction unprofessional and inappropriate. Eventually, I had to politely ask that he simply process the transaction and leave my financial decisions to me. Customer service can make or break an experience, and unfortunately this interaction left a lasting negative impression. Between the lackluster gaming experience and the uncomfortable encounter at the cashier cage, I don't see myself returning and would have a difficult time recommending this casino to others.

Here is what we noticed: - The place was fairly empty when we arrived and our server was very attentive...practically gave us no time to look at the menu. However, once we ordered, it took a very long time to get our food (and others seemed to have it worse than us). - The burger options looked good...there were a lot to choose from. My wife and I decided to split both the Black and Blue Burger and the Texan, one with a side salad and one with the Garlic Fries. We asked for both medium rare. - Once we got our food, it was pretty clear that one of the burgers was well done and the other one was partly cooked correctly and partly well done. Having said that, they were both tasty (or we were especially hungry!). The Garlic Fries were ok, but not as good as I've had at other places. The side salad was lovely. - We didn't order any alcohol this time, but the beer list looked ok but fairly limited. - We sat outside at a picnic table, which was fine, but a little loud from the traffic. Bottom line: Rookies met our craving for a burger and we might go back again sometime, but probably only on a half price burger Wednesday.

Sadly, we either misordered or the food wasn't the highlight. The boneless wings were like charred ends of dry meat, the chicken cheesesteak was fine, the fries were the mass frozen kind with that kind of breading over it. The kids chicken tenders were the highlight. The margarita came with a few fruit flies. Since It's not directly in town, and a little off the beaten path with a parking lot, the place was pretty full of seemingly locals. Overall, go in with managed expectations and looking for some sports and space and you'll be ok.
