I got an iced chai tea with coconut milk, it wasnt as good as I expected but the 2 other people that ordered with me loved their drinks so it wss probably just my choice! The cashier was very nice and this cafe is very involved in taking care of the beach. They have oat milk. End review. Just kidding... Oat Milk Iced Dirty Chai for the win. Their medium roast Honduras was great. Even hours later at room temp. And even cold out of the fridge the next day. Please don't ask why it took so long to drink a 16oz coffee. But it did. And I'm glad it did. Cheddar Chive Scone toasted, yes to the please. Loved this little cafe! We popped in before going to dinner and a show a few blocks over later in the evening. The owner was super friendly and helpful and the place was cozy and warm, sort of like your own living room at home. My friend and I sat in the window and chatted while sipping our delicious coffees. The big comfy chairs were just what we were hoping to relax in after our drive out to the coast. With the sun shining in and the doors of the cafe open, the nice breeze coming through really provided us a perfect respite from the day. This is definitely a great spot to grab a cup of joe or bite to eat when you find yourself in Cape May! I will be back the next time I'm in town for sure! read more

Low-key coffee shop with typical shore (read: inflated) prices, a hour of free wifi with any purchase. Has a proper espresso machine and the man made me a fine latte but $3.79 for a 12 ounce (called a "short" here) was spendy. I was happy that it was open on an early Sunday when much of Cape May was sleeping. Modest pastry selection, chocolate and almond croissants were actually very very good, about $3 each. Only 4 tables and 2 armchairs downstairs, the upstairs loft seems to be shut (?). Recently remodeled and still a bit raw around the edges with unfinished woodwork and a smell of sawdust, it ain't no cyber cafe with computers for rent no more, just a cafe. read more

Neat little place conveniently located a block off the beach and a half-block from the Washington St. Mall. We were here in the off-season so the crowds were at a minimum. Went with a regular latte. Tasted fine. They keep to coffee and pastries, which is fine, too. Will stop by again next time we are in the area. read more

Have been wanting to try the Magic Brain Cafe after hearing about it from a friend. Was finally able to get there earlier this afternoon. Loved the atmosphere! Nice young man behind the counter! Had a skim latte and tried the cranberry and orange scone. The latte was hot and not heavy on the foam and the scone was delicious. I highly recommend folks to try it out. I definitely will head back there when I am in Cape May. read more

This is the best coffee shop in Cape May! I spent many mornings in Cape May this past summer browsing stores and walking the boardwalk and I always made sure to get a coffee from here. They use their own blend and have so many different flavors to choose from. They also have a wide selection of creamers/milks to choose from including almond, oat, etc. I love the toffee flavor iced coffee with almond milk! The staff is always really friendly and the inside is super cute. It's an awesome place to chill and chat with a friend, read a book, or scroll through Twitter. My only complaint is that the staff wasn't consistent with prices and I would often get charged different prices for my same order. read more

I'm a sucker for coffee shops and this place did not disappoint. It's located inside a small shopping mall. I ordered a 20 oz chai latte with coconut milk topped with fresh whip cream. It was a little thick but I think it's because I used coconut milk. Still delicious! The whip cream was honestly my favorite part, it's hard to find places that use fresh whip cream. The Magic Brain is a super cute place to get coffee and a pastry to start your day. They have almond milk, so I was already very happy about that. The pain au chocolat was very delicious and I highly recommend it. I got an iced coffee and they have sippy cup tops, so you don't have to worry about using a single-use straw and hurting the environment! It does get really crowded, but if you have a chance to grab a seat at a table, definitely place Trivial Pursuit and remember how hard that game really is. read more

The café is a great place. I spent almost 3 hours there in a really cold day. Tbh, I didn't mind spending this time there instead of walking around the town, since it was a cold day. They have a veriety of coffee and snacks. The price is good, imo. The coffee that Ihad was great, better than the last coffee I got from Starbucks. They don't have many tables or seats, so don't trust some of the photos on yelp! haha Also that's the only real café that I found in the downtown area. All the others cafés that showed up when I was looking up a place are restaurants rather than cafés. I'd go there always! read more

Excellent iced coffee tucked away in a little mini-mall of shops and galleries just a block off of the Washington Square Mall. Friendly service. Didn't get any crap or attitude when asking them to make change so I could feed more quarters into my parking meter. Perhaps that outcome would have been different had I not been spending $3+ on iced coffee, but alas, I needed the caffeine anyway. 60 minutes of free wifi with any purchase might draw a mixed reaction, but I think it's fair and makes sense, especially when you have a small space like this. No internet for 2 weeks is hard enough, but no Yelp? That is just torture. The place we were staying has no internet access, so I had to stop at the Magicbrain Cafe while I was visiting Cape May. Glad that I did because I had a message waiting for me to join the elite squad! Yippee! Magicbrain seems to get the job done, although no free wifi here. Course it's not DC. You can use their computers - $4 for 15 minutes I believe. Or bring your own laptop, it's $6 for an hour. You can also buy a day's worth of internet or a whole week. It's pretty cozy inside, nicely decorated with bright colors. Mostly wooden or plastic chairs. They have plenty of room upstairs to get comfortable too. Outlets easily available. I had a delicious chai tea and a scone that was a bit too dry. Perhaps I should have gone with the glazed cinnamon roll. Very friend and helpful staff. read more
