This is hands down one of my favorite coffee spots in cape May, I love their quiches and I always have to get a maple latte from there. They have a lot of yummy options for freshly baked pastries and breads. Also in a really cute spot where you can do some vintage shopping while you're there. read more

We ended up visiting Beach Plum Bakery & Cafe twice for breakfast during our trip, which says quite a bit about how much we enjoyed it. What stood out most was the rotating selection of baked goods. The menu seemed to change from day to day, so there was always something new to try and we never felt like we were ordering the same breakfast twice. The quiche was a particular highlight. It tasted fresh and was nicely prepared, and the staff kindly offered to heat it up for us, which made it even better. We also tried the muffins, scones, and cake, all of which were very good. Everything had that fresh-from-the-bakery quality that makes a simple breakfast feel a little more special. When we visited during the summer, most of the seating was outdoors, which worked nicely for a relaxed morning. The atmosphere was casual and easygoing, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. A great spot to stop in for breakfast if you're looking for fresh baked goods and a menu that keeps things interesting from one visit to the next. We'd happily come back on another trip, especially to see what was coming out of the bakery that day. read more

Recently visited Beach Plum Cafe and enjoyed our treats. They were good. They have a lot of good options to choose from. We sat outside in breeze to enjoy our coffee and snacks. We tried cranberry slice cake, strawberry scone and biscotti. Strawberry scone was okay, but rest of it was good. Biscotti was the best! read more

This is a nice place to go if you are finding yourself exploring West Cape May or going to the West End garage. The baked goods are great and they have a variety of coffee drinks that you can enjoy outside if you are lucky enough to snag one of the outdoor tables. read more

I have been here multiple times through the years. The pastries and coffee are always good however this past visit, I found one staff member to be quite cold to me and the other who was making the coffee extremely kind and accommodating. Thank you to the accommodating staff. However, there are too many places that offer good coffee to tolerate rudeness after they mess up an order. read more

The beach plum farm doesn't have speciality coffees or iced coffees so we stopped by this cafe about 5 minutes before closing. They were friendly and patient with our order. We ordered a banana flavored latte and it was so delicious! There's also a small store connected with fun products. I would love to go back for a latte and slowly browse through the cafe store and other connecting stores next time! read more

Such a cute spot in Cape May. They make killer caffeinated beverages. Latte was A+ as well as the Matcha. We also tried some of their baked goods and another win. It is side by side with the cutest shop ever. Outside seating is available as well as street parking. Close to the CVS. read more

Stopped at this place right at opening time, and what a large great selection of pastries. The pastries were definitely the best part, moist and absolutely delicious, but my latte was underwhelming. Lovely staff and were very accommodating but the latte was lacking, something was off not sure if it was the espresso or milk. read more

We went to Beach Plum Farm Cafe two days in a row, and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. On both visits, the staff came across as rude and made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming for customers in general. The second day was especially frustrating. We waited nearly 50 minutes for our order, and in the middle of the wait, our drinks were completely forgotten. While the scones are delicious and the coffee is great, the service really overshadowed the food. Sadly, because of these experiences, I probably won't be coming back. read more

This cafe is quite popular so be ready to wait in line. It was Sunday morning and I arrived around 8:30 and I saw a line probably 15 people ahead of me. Some baked goods are available for grab in containers upon entering. On the shelves you can buy som tea, La Columbe coffee beans, pasta sauce, jalapeño ketchup, bacon ketchup. Also strawberry jam and fig jam. As you are approaching the counter, you can buy a dozen eggs from the farm. $6 a dozen is quite pricey but they're fresh. On the counter you can find varieties of baked food including some gluten-free and vegan options. Today they had among others chocolate croissants, butter croissants, sweet scones, savory scones, muffins, apple cake, pumpkin chocolate chip bread. Cranberry orange bread. All of them looked appetizing. You can get La Columbe coffee decaf and regular at the register. The staff was very friendly and patient. She explained that the scone flavors vary every day. Chocolate croissant was delicious and buttery. The scone and chocolate muffin were fresh and moist. Shortbread tart with strawberry jam: you can buy a small one or a pie-size one. Soo delicious, the crust was buttery but not crumbling and the jam is fresh and homemade. None of the items that I picked disappointed me. I highly recommend this place. There are some tables with umbrellas to enjoy the coffee and goodies in a very relaxing atmosphere read more

My girlfriend stopped in on a Sunday afternoon in March after riding bikes around Cape May for a few hours. The coffee shop and adjoining outlet shops were pleasantly full but not packed. There was no line to order drinks. She ordered a double shot of espresso and a seltzer, I got the housemade chai, which ended up being one of the best chais I've ever had. We sat at two of the seats by the window and people watched for a pleasant half hour. Very chill and we'll decorated. Nice way to kill some time on a lazy Sunday. We don't make it to Cape May too often but this will definitely be our go to coffee shop when we return. read more

Unfortunately, we really wanted to like this place. It was recommended on social media and we came here specifically on the good reviews. We ordered the nitro coffee and were left unsatisfied. The coffee was 60% foam and 40% coffee. When asked if we could be topped off due to less than half the cup being filled, we were met with annoyance from the staff. We have had nitro coffee prior and understand that this can happen but understand there are ways for this to not occur. They met our request but we will not be coming back to this establishment. It had no flavor, bitter and mostly foamy even when settled. There is much better coffee in Cape May NJ and this is not one of them. read more

A beautiful coffee shop and bakery that serves as an outpost for the farm up the road. It was raining, but there is cute outdoor seating that'd be perfect on a sunny morning. There was a line, so I ended up going to the farm and ordering food at the source. Everything looked delicious, and after trying coffee and a croissant later, I can vouch for Beach Plum's products being very good. read more

Awesome place. Awesome scones. Awesome service and the best iced Chai Latte that I've ever had and I tell you it's not overrated... Bring Fido says they're Dog Friendly, but I still asked and immediately they asked back if Haru would want a "cup pup". She gobbled it up. And I loved their savory scones of rosemary, garlic and thyme, I think. The quiche was just alright, my daughter said. It did look a bit plain, but the coffee crumb cake was also good. It's connected to the West End Garage which is an ideal place to shop for trinkets and such that you might, or might not need. It reminded me of Etsy, if Etsy had a physical store. So yeah, the Cafe and the Garage were perfect place to start your day, when in Cape May. read more

This is the coffee shop you want in your neighborhood. It is also connect to the equally awesome West End Garage. Stopped here a couple times during the shore trip and each time the coffee hit the spot like a local coffee joint is supposed to. I admittedly did not try any of the baked good because in both visits I was breakfast/brunch bound. Boy though did they look delicious, particularly the cookies and the pumpkin spiced bread. Lots of options with the drinks and milks, with a simple menu. There are a lot of take home goods such as wrapped goods, sauces, store merch and more. There is outdoor seating only as the space would be a bit crowded. There are a few coffee spots around the town, but this one should be tried at least once. read more

16Mar- Stopped in for a couple of treats. Blueberry muffins Scones, multiple kinds These folks have it all and even on cold months they're open with daily-made offerings. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Their baked goods are incredible with endless options. Our opinion, best bakery in town. read more

Very cool new coffee shop located in the newly remodeled front of West End Garage antique mall. They brew Columbe coffee and sell some local products (spices, sauces, etc.). There's a legit commercial bakery/kitchen right behind the cafe where they turn out fresh pastries and impressive donuts. I ordered a cortado with oat milk. They offered a good selection of non dairy milks (almond, soy, coconut, and oat). The coffee was perfect although in a place like this I'd expect the barista to put a design in the foam. I know...it has nothing to do with the taste of the coffee and maybe it's silly but I feel like it's always a cool touch and shows me the barista is having fun making it. My wife ordered a Chai which was delicious and full of spice. My daughter chose the 2 freshly made donuts for $4. She selected the coconut chocolate and orange cream. Both fantastic. I'm not huge a fan of antique shopping so if I end up in the area again, this is where I can be found for sure. read more

Always looking to try a new coffee place and had Beach Plum. On the list. Kept it really simple: iced mocha and a butter croissant. Coffee was really good, very chocolate-y, and I'm always a fan of La Colombe coffee. Butter croissant was very flaky and tender. Seems very fresh. read more

Wow, what a find! We found this hidden little gem while we were shopping at the garage next-door. I ordered a decaf cappuccino for my mom as well as a cheddar zucchini scone. My mother who is 87 said it was the best cappuccino she's had her entire life! She said the flavor of the coffee was like no other. The scone was delicious, A perfect flaky Dough with savory zucchini and cheddar. She was so happy with his coffee, I had to take her back the next day. The next day we also got a cheddar, chive scone which was absolutely amazing! She said next trip, we have to go there every day! Super fun place. Lots of great antiques and consignment local artisans. Delicious scone. Great lavender matcha latte and the barista was so sweet. Hidden gem, do not sleep on this place! You walk in to a cozy cafe that has plenty of outdoor seating. Gluten-free and vegan options are abound, on top on non-resticted items. I had a basic iced coffee with oatmilk and a strawberry cheesecake scone and they both hit the spot. Everything is made fresh on the spot and the two employees behind the counter were so sweet! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area- the cold brew looked incredible! read more

This place has become my coffee/cookie stop when I ride my bike. The place is so quint and so inviting. The ladies behind the counter always have a smile on their face and a nice word for their customers. I am addicted to their gluten free cookie, even though I'm not on a GF diet I found it moist, perfect amount of sweetness and flavorful. I have tried their scones, OMG so good, their pound cake, their chocolate chip cookies and I have not be disappointed by any. There are tables inside and outside, a rack for your bikes, toilets and a small market adjacent to the bakery. A must if you're in cape May. read more

A modern country vibe with an organic splash. Careful you don't run over any of the chickens while parking. Their small market was charming, they have some good ol' organic produce in there. I was eying on that bbq sauce that they make, it looked good. Outside is where they serve food and I heard its a "farm to table" affair. The greens sure does look and taste like it came straight from their crop. The scenery was nice looking, wife took plenty of photos around here. I would recommend to at least try it once. Eggs Benedict: 9/10 PROS - Fresh and delicuous. The hollandaise sauce was creamy. Garnishing was on point. I'm diggin the metal plate. CONS - Although very good, not the best I've ever had. read more

This is our go to breakfast in Cape May. Nice little shop in the West End Garage. Service is always friendly and easy going. Our visits basically come down to four categories. My wife gets her chai tea lattes. Then we share a large assortment of quiches, scones, and other baked goods. The quiches are the perfect for breakfast. We usually get one or two of the ham and cheese and one of the veggie ones. We go absolutely bizerk on the scones though. They are the best scones I've ever had. I pretty much order one of each, but I especially love their savory scones and any scones with strawberry in them. Amazing. On top of those items there always a wide range of other baked goods like muffins and breads. Their pumpkin breads are outstanding in the fall. The offerings change so much I can't tell you what to go specifically for, but just know they're all amazing. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. I should be back in the area in two weeks. I'll be stopping by. read more

Cute spot with great location attached to the West End garage which is full of neat vendors. I enjoyed the scone. The quiche was a bit of a disappointment, most importantly because it was not a quiche but almost like a little tiny frittata or soufflé. No crust. The menu needed to be more clear. It was also very small. read more

One of the best coffee spots in Cape May! Located along side (connected to) the West End Garage, which has local vendors selling awesome products, art, and more! This is also walking distance from the famous Washington Street mall in downtown Cape May! Delicious baked goods but wished the line moved faster--the other location at the farm is much more efficient.

We had just visited the Beach Plum Farm in the morning and then while walking to the CVS in Cape May can across this Bakery & Café. We were all excited to see if they had done if the delicious baked goods we had tried on the farm and happy to discover they had more items we had but seen. Omg the chocolate blueberry scone was probably the best scone I've ever had. It was perfect, softer than most scones and not too sweet. It's attached to a huge selection of small little shops. The cafe offers a lot of products from local Beach Plum Farm and some of the baked goods also appear to incorporate fruits and jams from the Beach Plum Farm.
