    crepes and bubble waffles

This store is clean and serve crepes, bubble waffle with ice cream, also smoothies. CASH ONLY. Strawberry banana: good amount of Nutella with sliced almonds. The crepes is served in a cone. Very pretty presentation. PB jealous: good amount of ice cream, the bubble waffles wasn't soggy.

So service is really important to me. Especially within the first 30 seconds of walking into any establishment. We weren't greeted right away as the employees were enmeshed in setting up although they were clearly open. When we were finally acknowledged the employee still kept on with her tasks. She seemed bothered by our presence. My daughter did enjoy her bubble crepe filled with ice cream, coconut, Nutella.

I am a huge fan on crepes and when I saw that this place was here I decided to check it out. The place is small and located in a shopping area off the main street of cape may. The crepe I tried was honestly nothing special. The flavor wasn't there and it tasted bland. Whipped cream and strawberries did not help the flavor as they too weren't that sweet. I recommend that this business get some sweeter or tastier ingredients to make their crepes. They sound great, but definitely need work.

Our favorite crepe is the Chicken Teriyaki if you're into savory crepes. Their homemade sauce is very tasty.

Crepe May (such a clever name given the Cape May area) is such a treat to have! My husband ordered a Monkey Business smoothie that had strawberries, bananas and coconut water (it's all natural--no added sugars at all!). We also decided to split the strawberry banana crepe which was made with (you guessed it!)--strawberries, bananas plus homemade whipped cream, Nutella and sliced almonds. It was super filling! This establishment is located at the outdoor Washington Street Mall. I promise you won't be disappointed!!

I don't give a Crepe if you don't like Crepes. But if you don't like Bubble Waffles, then I hate to burst your Bubble, but you're clueless. Now let me waffle on a bit longer. Bubble waffles used to be my thing. I mean, only my thing. Like, nobody else on Yelp knew about them. Well, actually, before they were my thing, they were other people's things out in East Asia. Well, now they seem to be everybody's thing! One of the most hipster foods you can get really. They're popping up everywhere. Even in white bread Cape May New Jersey you can get them. And they're really good! Good job to uncle Charlie for serving these. Located inside the mini mall right next to the Charley ice cream shop.

The second best ice cream experience I've ever had! This place needs to be on the top of your ice cream list in Cape May (or anywhere). I've never had a bubble waffle, I was actually really hesitant. But I'm officially a believer. Cookies and cream ice cream, a bubble waffle, oreo cookie chunks, and Nutella drizzle to top it off. #WINNING This place had me living my best life. We'll definitely be back every time we're in Cape May. :-)

This was one of the largest, messiest crepes I have ever had, and it was good (not great). I had their chicken teriyaki crepe that was pretty messy. The actual crepe was soft, so it didn't do the best job of holding the ingredients in with it being set up like a cone, but it still tasted good and was very filling. Between the sauces making it soggy, the soft breading, and the cone structure, it was so much of a disaster to eat at the end that I just threw it away. I also had an Oreo bubble waffle cone, and that was much better than the crepe. The waffle cone was crispy on the outside yet soft when bitten into, and just generally a very good idea cream cone. If you have to choose whether or not to fill up on a crepe of a bubble waffle cone menu item, pick the latter.

I was so excited to see this place open this year. Last year, I missed them as I believe they had been closed longer than usual off season due to COVID. I ordered the PB Jealous bubble waffle with vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back!

We went to Crepe May for lighter late night bite. It's owned by Uncle Charley's (the ice cream shop just a couple doors down) so they also serve ice cream in bubble cones. I ordered the strawberry banana crepe. It was a great combo of flavors with the fruit topped with Nutella and sliced almonds. In my opinion, the crepe could have used a bit more filling. While I found the cone-like serving style fun and helpful to carry on the go, it is really hard to eat crepes in a cone. I think it's easier with a fork and knife, but that's just a personal preference. I would happily go back and try a bubble cone too!

Strawberries and banana crepe. Easy to eat. Mess free.

Dessert/ice cream all wrapped up in a waffle or crepe. Messy but worth it. Grab extra napkins. It's cash only, when we were there anyway.

However, I always knew I would be back, and when I did I wanted to check this place out. I love ice cream, and while they can be a dime-a-dozen on the Jersey Shore, FFC stood out with their great Yelp reviews and the high visibility of its owners across social media. I had finished dinner and was looking for dessert, so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to stop in for some ice cream. FFC is located on Beach Ave, right in the heart of one of the main drags in Cape May (also, conveniently around the corner from where I was staying). The decor is super fun - the entire space is decked out in Pride decor, with colorful ice cream aesthetics on the walls and an overall upbeat vibe. FFC serves Bassetts Ice Cream, I'm not familiar with the brand but apparently their cream content is higher than average so how bad can that be? They have several flavors to choose from, as well as a number of toppings, sundae combinations, and milkshakes. I decided to go with Moose Tracks in a cone - I was able to choose the number of scoops I wanted (I got two), as well as the type of cone I wanted. The ice cream was really good - super creamy with lots of peanut butter cups and fudge; the moose were stampeding. Service was also great - I was taken care of promptly and everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Overall, this was a yes - with the plethora of ice cream spots in the area, FFC stands out by serving high quality product in a fun and inviting atmosphere. I would definitely return the next time I find myself in Cape May.

I'm not sure if it's because there are so many people working there or because it's so expensive. Two small cups of ice cream were $15+. I asked for a unique flavor and tried their matcha which was good, but overall it's lost its Cape May charm. There are a lot of places to get ice cream, but this place doesn't set itself apart anymore.

There's no mention on this in Google and caught me and apparently the line of diners behind me by surprise as we had to pull cash for our meal after service.
