Two people working extremely confused, not understanding orders. Every order i saw was wrong, including mine. The couple next to me also ordered oat milk for an allergy and they received regular milk. After lots of mess ups and an insanely long wait, the drink was mediocre. I've been going for years and I will say it hurts to leave this review but it's been a couple times now. I understand it's a coffee shop, but that being said I m not a coffee person so when I got their iced tea I was so happy, refreshing and just right. I didn't mind the price because it was always spot on. I guess those days are over twice now in the span of two weeks I've gotten the worst iced tea. I'm okay not having lemon no problem Starbucks hasn't got lemon either but let me start the first one the tea was off color like it had cream in it. I actually had to ask if it was tea they assured me and said something about changing recipe which was odd. I dipped it and thought they had made it using the coffee machine. So that time my wife took it back and got our money back.now I have it some time but one of my fave things is walking down from the cove and getting an iced tea so I gave it a second try please don't tell my wife. I mentioned it was bad last time they assured me it was taken care of I think they said they had changed tea and had gone back. I don't think so it was bitter and I. Couldn't drink it. Sad to say without my wife I just took the loss along with the dollar tip. I left it on a table didn't have the heart to throw three dollars in the trash oh well love and learn they will sell enough not to miss my money but it's a bad way to fun a popular place. I'll find someone to give my five bucks to that's how much large ones are. I can't wait to find them season starts soon so selections will Multiply. This coffee shop is cute and has very tasty fresh brewed iced tea and hot coffees. I wish they had more vegan food options but what they do have is good. They also have a drink card after 10 drinks you can get one free. The staff are always very friendly too. read more

Over priced coffee. I would suggest going to the stand alone location next to Congress hall. The coffee was mid at best.

I've been coming to Cape May on and off for the last 25 years and one of my biggest food related disappointments has been a lack of quality coffee shops. We'll, thanks to Yelp, that has changed. I never knew there was a coffee shop right in Congress Hall. I always get a simple drip coffee, and the version they serve here is one of the best I've had - better than Starbucks (and I'm a fan of Starbucks). Five stars. My family got various espresso drinks, which were good, although they liked the ones across the street a little better. The food is decent too. Maybe the best part is the beautiful patio they have right outside the coffee shop. So peaceful and relaxing. A great way to start the day! read more

A yearly tradition with friends to Cape May for the weekend to enjoy their amazing Holiday Parade- 8 families, 20 children, and 16 adults Lots of fun, memories, and laughs all weekend and Cape May creates the most perfect location for just that ! Parade goers start the night before on Friday night lining the edges of the streets with their chairs, blankets, caution tape etc to secure a good spot along the parade route. This year with the rain, we decided to go out the day of around 10:30/11am to get some space for the children to enjoy! We found a perfect strip along the end cap of the infamous shopping mall, along the curb, set aside from the corner and cross walk! 3 of us moms ventured out in the rain to lay our bag wrapped chairs This is when the wildest thing happened. This store owner opened her doors and very clearly did not want us laying chairs along the curb outside her store front- with "It's a little early to be setting up" (chairs literally lined the parade route already with few empty spaces left) and ended with "I hope no one takes your chairs!" Feeling very uncomfortable we drove down a bit and turned around. Lo and behold we witnessed this man moving our chairs to where they saw fit. We had to drive back to collect our chairs as we did not trust these people. HORRIBLE people and HORRIBLE business owners. They could have had 8 families giving them business tonight during the parade but instead due to their negativity and poor attitudes, they will not. We are hoping this reaches others so they know the type of people that own and operate this store! As I told them to their face, They should be ashamed of taking these seats away from children. Cute place. Don't order soup. It won't be hot. And if you ask them to reheat it they stick the container in a pot of warm water, let it sit for a few minutes, then pour the soup into a new cardboard container and it still isn't hot. Or warm. The hot cider is good. read more

Cute little cafe inside Congress Hall, with good selection of cafe food items and a full coffee bar. They have really unique latte flavors, like mint chocolate chip and blueberry muffin. Neat place worth checking out! read more

Very adorable and friendly cafe in the hotel. I ordered the "iced tea" which was great and my best friend ordered the "Iced Nutty Cappuccino " which he quite enjoyedf. They also have cute souvenirs... I got a cute Cape May coasters and a blue pig magnet! Oink oink! read more

In the Congress hall hotel, nice coffe shop with pastries and candies. The coffe selections are good with always some specials. They open at 630 so it's very convenient when your on a working vacation. read more

Coffee tasted very burnt, latte's had A LOT of milk and were. Dry, very sweet. This was not our favorite coffee place at the shore. Would only recommend if other options are not available. read more

Cute little coffee bar setup in the same room as the Congress Hall gift shop. Their menu looks like they have the capability of making quite a few coffee concoctions, but on my visit I was looking for something a little more refreshing and went with a raspberry iced tea. They have a variety of premade sandwiches that looked delicious and a grab-and-go fridge with everything from muesli and yogurt to hard boiled eggs and coconut water if you're looking for something to munch on either on the rocking chairs of the veranda or just a bit further down on the beach. Definitely a nice little option for a light bite if you're staying in the hotel and don't want to commit to walking into town or eating a full meal at the tavern. read more

La Colombe coffee, fresh squeezed juices from their farm, salads, strawberries and fruit cups..heaven! And the prices here aren't entirely bad, either ($3.50 for a juice as opposed to the $7 or so that we pay in Philly). A great spot for grab and go or just chilling out on the patio. read more

We love Cape May and come back every year that we can, to stay at the Virginia Hotel. So sad to have had to leave today! Thought we were being savvy by picking up sandwiches at Tommy's Folly to eat on the way home. Beats the offerings at the Cheesequake rest stop, we said. However, our Tommy's Folly "to go" sandwiches were super thin and dry dry dry. Had to drink a lot of our water just to choke it down. Very disappointed. Next time we will try a fresh made sandwich from someplace else. read more
