Among the many other shops on Washington St., this one of my favorite stops. I've begun paying slightly more to my accessories (watches, bracelets, etc.) and I found some unique and stylish ones here for a decent price. The selection of beaded bracelets are nice but there are also latch bracelets that caught my eye for again how stylish they are but also it's unique look. I've never seen any that looked like this. So of course I got one. Among the rest of the store, like many of the other shops in the area, unique things can be found for yourself or if you're looking to pick up gifts on your travels. Clothes, humor books, house décor as well as a yard including a single person swinging hammock. There is a nice assortment of things crammed into Madame's Port. I love this kind of shop. The owners obviously took care to pick out more unusual clothing, jewelry and home decor. Their tasteful decor makes shopping here a pleasure. I love that they offer quirky items that aren't found in every other souvenir shop in this pedestrian friendly mall. I especially liked their jewelry selection - would be good to check here if you are in need of gifts for a special friend. read more

This is a unique store full of creatively selected gifts, jewelry, knicknacks, hats, etc. Far classier and more interesting than the standard shell, kitsch, and t-shirt shop fare I expected at the Shore. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for the beautiful jewelry - I wanted to take the whole place home with me! Apparently it is owned by the same person as the shop "Across the Way," which, appropriately, is just across from Madames Port on the promenade. Check out that one too - it is similarly delightful and tempting! Both stores are decorated and merchandised with great care, making them beautiful and fun places to browse and buy. read more

Normally a 4 star as there were unique items in the shop. However this review that's low is due to the fact that a bracelet that was bought there for $12 which was worth it. But, at a point the bracelet on its own fell apart while on my jewerly tree and seemed the string must have dried up that held the bracelet together and fell onto the dresser. I gathered all the pieces and the string that held it together. I brought it into the store in a ziploc bag. Spoke with the apparent owner of the shop. I explained what occurred. She very abruptly didn't want to hear it and replied, "we don't fix bracelets, besides we don't sell $12 bracelets, "You didn't get the bracelet here"! If she could not or did not want to do anything for me re: the bracelet I bought there for $12, all she professionally had to do is say, " I'm sorry, I can't do anything and can't replace it". Too bad all my friends shopped there aren't going back. Was a fav CM shop. However, there are plenty other Beautiful CM shops with nice staff that we will buy from read more

I LOVE this store. I cannot come to Cape May without buying some adorable, reasonably-priced little jewelry trinket or magnet or wind chime here. The place has a great, positive vibe and a convenient location right on the mall. I'd be sure to wander in if I were you. :) read more

Madame's Port is one of the more unique, non-touristy stores along the Washington St Mall -- none of the shells, clothing or other souvenir items embossed with the name Cape May anywhere. At each trip down the Shore I somehow end up at this store, and have not escaped unscathed. Thankfully my wallet hasn't been too affected with each visit :) read more

I fell in love with almost everything in this store. There was so much cool stuff - home decor, clothing, jewelry, etc. I spent a small fortune in here and can't wait to get it all home. I found the staff friendly and when I noticed I had been overcharged on something, the man was extremely apologetic. read more

Loved this shop and miss it so much! My husband is in the Coast Guard and we had to move. I shopped here frequently and all my girlfriends got presents from here and the shop across the street(they are owned by the same family). They always are adding great items, such a lovely place. I just visited the website, please add more of the beautiful unique jeweler you sell in the shop. I would love to purchase some online. We loved the shop and felt compelled to purchase etched wine glasses. They were lovely. Unfortunately, after returning to our home in Ohio, we discovered on one of the glasses the etching went all the way through the glass and it leaked. When I contacted the store they were very apologetic and sent us new wine glass with a very nice note. We now feel compelled to return to Cape May just to visit Madames Port.
