I asked for a small Salted Caramel Latte, they did not have Salted Caramel, so I just asked for Caramel. Then I was asked which type of milk and I wanted regular milk. So, I was confused when my bill was $8.37. I kept looking at the board and the person at the register (who was not very friendly) told me I was looking at hot coffee. So, I looked at the iced coffee and it still was not $8.37 for a small. Looking at my email receipt, seems I ordered (mind you, I was the only one in the store at the time), a small iced coffee with no flavor, almond milk ($1 extra) and no whip (when did they ask me about whip? I always order whip). So, I paid $8.37 for a super small iced coffee that wasn't at all what I wanted (I did not see the email receipt until later) and the lid didn't fit, so coffee kept spilling out. Do not order coffee from this place, what a rip off. Walk over to Wawa, you will get much better coffee at a much better price. read more

This is a very great little cafe in Stone Harbor! I'm a regular at this spot. I've tried quite a few drinks and meals here and nothing has disappointed so far. I think my favorite menu items are their crepes, breakfast sandwiches, and the Red Eye Coffee. Everything comes out pretty quickly too so it's a good place for a fast bite. I only wish there was more seating because it does get packed during the summertime. But other than that, this place is awesome. read more

My hubby and I shared a breakfast sesame bagel with bacon egg and cheese. Coming from New York City, our bagel standards are high and this sesame bagel was unique and delicious - surprisingly light and fluffy, and super fresh. This review was completed during the off season. I share that because there is a significant difference of the overall volume of customers during the off season. We stopped in for breakfast and coffee on a Friday. We ordered a couple of coffees and four breakfast sandwiches. Two of those were bagel sandwiches, which were solid but what really stole the show was the croissant sandwiches. We got bacon egg and cheese on a fresh made croissant. These were OUTSTANDING!! I stopped by during the weekend to grab a quick lunch and got a few things to try. Their lobby is pretty small, so while it's fine in the off-season, I'm sure it gets very crowded in the summer. I got their Nutella Coffee and got it iced. The coffee is just black coffee with a glob of Nutella put in it. It was tasty, but the coffee they used was a very dark roast. I asked for room to put creamer in, but I guess they forgot. Multiple people were waiting and only one person was making coffee, so I kinda get them forgetting that detail. Their donut was not very donut-like, and closer to a sweetbread with a cream filling. I didn't care for it, I felt like I was eating a bread roll, but the person who came with me loved it. Their croissants are amazing! They get them imported from France, so they taste wonderful! I would totally get their croissants again. The bagel...the bagel itself tasted fine, and the cream cheese was pretty good. You could tell there were fresh chives used in the cream cheese. But...why on Earth did the guy in the kitchen cut it into fourths?! I almost fainted when I unwrapped the bagel. FOURTHS?? Who does this?! It was also very burnt on one side, I guess their toasting machine is off-kilter. I wouldn't bother with their bagels, but the croissants are to die for. read more

Loved Cafe Noir and with all my time spent in Stone Harbor I can't believe that this was my first time here. They serve La Colombe coffee which is in my opinion the best, and the staff was really sweet and accommodating. I appreciated that they are credit card friendly which is a plus since many places in Stone Harbor and Avalon aren't. I understand that there may be a tax advantages to businesses being cash only but so many times I will leave the house with just my cell phone, credit card and driver's license. We enjoyed our coffee inside and were pleased that it was so well-air conditioned. We also tried some of their pastries which were great. My favorite was the blueberry crumble.The only downside I could think of noting with this establishment is that they don't have a public restroom.
