I've now been two or three times and am always confused as to how they stay in business and SO busy. Long lines, high prices, sour coffee. I have never eaten here and actually try and avoid coming at all, but it's convenient location and overall cozy vibe is very enticing. If you're just doing coffee to go, there is a nice separate line that can be utilized. I got coffee the next day at Bud's and found their grocery cold brew to be much better. I'm flabbergasted, this place had the worst coffee I ever had in my life. I got a cold brew, and when I took my first sip I thought there must have been some type of mistake. One of many spots that stays open, this coffee shop has a cozy couch coffee shop vibe serving a wide variety of flavored coffee beans, breakfast sandwiches, fresh pastries and treats, and many more. Summer time they also offer a smoothie/acia bowl stand serving fresh fruity drinks for those hot mornings. First, the line was pretty long because the attendants working the counter were slow we chit-chatting about a lot of things not related to orders with each other. I enojo the random fun banter as much as the next, but it was almost like the customers were getting in the way of their conversation. Math - we bought one frozen coffee and another speciality coffee with oat milk. The order came out to $14.05. The attendant said "don't worry about the nickel." We gave $15 and didn't get any change. After an awkward 30 second pause, the attendant explained that her Math was correct and we had to explain that $15 - $14 = $1. Awareness - Monica ordered a speciality drink with oat milk. Monica is vegan, therefore she doesn't do diary. The brewista made the drink with traditional milk, even though we paid the oat milk up charge and the receipt clearly stated "oak milk." When challenged the brewista explained they ran out of oat milk. We asked why did it continue to make the drink despite the receipt, he explained because he was told to do so. We went to attendant working the register, and got a refund for her drink, which was partial because she didn't include the taxes in the refund. The attendant swore they had oat milk and was unaware of the fact that vegans don't do traditional milk - she thought we were just being difficult. Why not 1 star? - they have a great ambience in terms of a coffee shop to chill and do work. They have multiple tables/booths where you can gather and have conversations. Pro tip: DO NOT GET their frozen coffee drinks. They come in a traditional to-go coffee cups. Strike 1. It was impossible to drink it with the lid on. So, if made walking on the beach and drinking a bit more difficult than it needed to. Strike2 - another woman in front of us got one and was thoroughly surprised as well. Iced latte was decent enough, but they need to do a MUCH better job indicating where to order. They have a pick up window outside that is only for picking up call in orders. They then have a door that puts you right at the main cash register (which with a very long line was not the right place to go) and then they have another door further down that puts you at the end of the line for the main register. Such a cute coffee shop! Love the small town feel when you walk in. They have all the best coffee flavors and yummy seasonal options. I got an iced vanilla latte. It tasted mostly like milk which is why I gave 4 stars. My bf got a hot vanilla latte that was delicious. So maybe just an off day for them.. We also ordered bacon egg and cheese with a hash brown on an English muffin, which was one of the top breakfast sandwiches I've ever had, and a goat cheese prosciutto jam and egg on a bagel, which was such an amazing combo I could eat it everyday. Lounge area is decked out with sofas and a living room-look as soon as you walk in. Back area has a To-Go counter, overhead menu and Pastries. Seating area- left of that. To-Go Beverage menu, looks decent (not sure though if you can order hot Breakfast items from here). Different types coffees and gotta say- a nice selection of regular Tea and Chai are offered. Even before taking that first sip, I was actually salivating thinking about drinking Chai on a humid morning. But not only was it small, but for the $4.50 price tag... taste was artificial. On top of that, my small cup had so much damn ice, I drank that sucker in like 10 sips. But listen, don't take my word for it...I was only here for less than 10 minutes. Very pleased with our experience here! There are so many places to pick from in Stone Harbor. I recommend trying this place out for breakfast. Unique and delicious breakfast sandwiches and a parfait/oatmeal bar. Coffee is good and there is a selection for you to pick from for your normal coffee blends. Parking is free until 10am out front. We didn't have to wait in line when we got there on a Monday at 8:30am Bathroom was not the best. The decor inside is cool. Lots of seating. WiFi is not free until after 1pm though... read more

There is plenty of seating in a relaxed and open environment. The staff was so friendly and in particular the store manager who I had an opportunity to talk to. Coffee Talk is a Stone Harbor staple. It's always very crowded on the weekends, especially for breakfast, so don't count on having a place to sit instead. Their baked goods are always fresh and delicious (I recommend the cinnamon bun). They also have a very extensive menu of breakfast sandwiches, which can be served on a bagel, croissant, etc. The #3 on an everything bagel is my favorite- it includes 2 fried eggs, bacon, arugula, gruyere cheese, and a garlic aioli. My only complaints are that Coffee Talk is incredibly expensive, even for Stone Harbor standards, and that it is cash only. They do have an ATM inside the cafe, but it of course has a pretty steep withdraw fee. read more

Due to corona, they are placing orders through a window, ensuring masks are benign worn, have hand sanitizer available, and are doing cash only or Venmo. I have visited my friend in Stone Harbor for three years in a row and every morning we come here to get breakfast sandwiches and coffee. They have various options that are healthy or more carb-loaded. They also have another option, Juice Girl, in the same space. If you're looking for a healthier option, I would choose that, I've never had it but it looks wonderful! My only complaint about this restaurant is that they are not very fast so it can take a long time to get your order placed and completed. We went in for tea and coffee this morning and the young lady remembered my drink!!! I was so impressed that I had to give them five stars!! This is one of few coffee shops that are open year round and who serves chai tea with alternative milk options! The chai wasn't too sweet which is a plus. We got the French toast and pumpkin muffins. My husband kept making sounds of pleasure while he ate his French toast muffin. He said it was the best muffin he ever had and "whoever makes their muffins know what they are doing." Me and my girl stopped here before a movie for a cold blended coffee and a açaí bowl. She got a blended mocha coffee but it tasted like iced creme with no coffee or mocha flavor. She took it back to the counter and the guy helping grabbed it, took off the lid, grabbed a new straw and said "yup. That's mocha" and tried giving it back to her. When she said she didn't want it, another lady from behind the counter asked her what she wanted. She said she wanted a frozen mocha coffee and what they made was not that. The lady kept insisting she get something else. So she said no thanks can I just have my money back. The lady responded with a tone and told the cashier to just give her the money back. Pretty bad first experience at this place. Definitely wouldn't go back solely because of the customer service. Also the açaí was frozen, not freshly blended like they said. I'm not a big Yelp poster but was really disappointed with my experience at Coffee Talk. Yesterday I ordered a hot coffee and it tasted very bland/watery. I had been here a couple of times in the past and ordered the same thing (which I really liked) so knew that this tasted different. I work at a coffee shop myself, and know that sometimes if you pour a cup before the machine is done brewing it can come out a little bit less strong/more watery tasting. I went up to the pickup window and said "excuse me, I'm so sorry to bother you-" the woman immediately gave me the rushed hands sign (I understand she was busy) and said really rudely "just tell me what you want." I said "I'm sorry the coffee just tasted a little bit watery. I was wondering if it's possible it was poured before it was finished brewing?" I tried providing this alternative suggestion as to why the coffee may have tasted bad as opposed to just flat out complaining. She said "what do you want?? That is not the reason." She grabbed my cup, poured out the coffee and gave me another one (which I appreciated, and this one tasted normal). When she handed it back to me she again, super rudely said with a sneer "I don't pour coffee unless it's brewed." I have not been treated this rudely in a really long time, and as someone who works in a customer service job myself (a coffee shop too) was really taken aback. In the scheme of the world this was not a big deal, but coffee is usually something I look forward to to start my day, and this nasty employee really just left me feeling upset and was a really negative and bad start to the day. I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere and will not be going to Coffee Talk again. People have bad days, but it was absolutely not appropriate to speak to someone the way this woman spoke to me. This coffee shop is in the middle of a cute but very pretentious town. In the morning the line is out the door which would lead a customer to believe the product is good- however this was not the case. I ordered four coffees which totaled 23 dollars. Being from New York City the price of coffee is usually inflated so I wasn't that surprised. My order was being prepared and I saw the barista lining up the cups with my name on the receipt. 3 out of four drinks were ready when she said very rudely "do not touch the coffee until the order is complete" which would normally be fine but seeing as to how it was only my order being prepared I didn't appreciate Being spoke down to like a Child. Honestly terrible experience. Used to come here for years and they got rid of a lot. We waited in a long line to order food and as we got up and ordered they asked how they could help us, but then started talking to their coworkers and asked me to repeat what I said... Then told us after we ordered their apple pay isn't working. Understand I didn't bring a card but typically that's information you tell people waiting in a long line before they come to the front. After we had to call someone for a card, we waited 20 minutes for the food to come out for 2 bacon egg and cheeses. Everyone behind us got their meals first and when we went up to the front they said they didn't have our order. After waiting another 5 minutes we went back up and they still didn't have an order for us. At this point they should've refunded the money I spent to pay. Ridiculous, at least have a smile on your face and be nice to customers if your messing up left and right read more
