This place deserves five stars without a doubt. The customer service that Hong gave me was very friendly and professional ! I typically have a cake lady who does my cakes for me but she was out of town. I was nervous to go to another place. I called and asked a few questions before I decided to order the cake. Hong asked that I come in in person so that he can give me a sample. The whip cream, banana , and strawberries were so fresh and delicious ! The cake isn't heavy, the whip cream is light and it all taste like perfection! He even gave my daughter a cup cake and it made her so happy! The cake was for my moms 75th birthday and through out the night many of our guest asked "where did you get this delicious cake " I was very happy with it. This place was very helpful, I needed a cake last minute. With Frozen theme colors. I explain to them what I wanted and said they would make it look really pretty. Came to pick it up next day and it was perfect it had a cute little toy of Frozen and the colors on the cake were excellent and they also put a couple of snow flakes, birthday girl loved her cake and everyone thought the cake was delicious. It was light and fluffy and the cream was so light and not overwhelming sweet just right. This place will be my go to for cakes, and of course their prizes are very reasonable. Their cake is super fluffy and tasty, their frosting tastes like frosting (I feel like that taste is so hard to find these days with bakeries getting too fancy), and their cakes are not too sweet which is a plus in my book! I was looking a cake with banana filling last minute for my sisters birthday- I went to other bakeries and they just had the strawberry filling - ANYWAY! I called and came in and I said I was looking for fresh bananas and he said - don't worry I'll make it right now while you think what you want on your cake.. before I can think he was already in the back cutting up bananas, I was so astounded by his customer service and his need to help me as I was asking for a specific fruit and not strawberries which is usually popular and he already had ready to go. They have picture screening which you would email a photo and all these other amazing things but I went with flowers and almonds on the sides and they even have those firework like candles. It's amazing how this bakery is still in business, their display window has so much dust the once white cake displays have turned beige. I'm surprised no State Inspection hasn't shut them down due to clutter & dirt greeting customers in the store, I can't imagine what the back of the store looks like. Their cakes were good some years ago but now I refuse purchasing from there (last cake purchased for a kids party we noticed ALL the kids mouths were dark blue from the icing).. They had a couple of cookies and other sweet goodies up on the counter but I only saw the brownie as a potential good find. The server suggested the eclair so I decided to get one, too. Brownie (3 stars) - you could tell it didn't come from a box. Not too sweet but I felt like it could have used more chocolate flavor. Carrot cake (3 stars) - I've had better. One good point is that you could still tell that it was made from scratch. Well, I'm guessing it was made from scratch. Eclair (5 stars) - it's not just the cream in the middle that I liked but the icing and dough, too. So that means I liked everything about. Perfect with black coffee. Yum! I'd go back just for this. Anyway, I paid $75 this time for a 1/2 sheet cake for my daughter's very special 18th B-day.
