Nice restaurant/bar that opened recently in the area! Came on a Friday night and they had a wait time for 2 people of about 25-30 minutes so we snagged a seat at the bar. They have a pretty big menu with lots of options, so there's variety if you're not sure what you want! For example I had tacos (delicious, especially the lobster) and my friend had a grilled cheese type sandwich! Prices were good, both meals about $20. In addition to food options they also had a good selection of drinks! The only "negatives" were they had a few too many stools at the bar which made it a little tight to sit there. Also, the bartenders are moving around from customer to customer so it was easy to "miss" someone who mightve been sitting there simply because they didn't know if someone else had helped them (like many bars I guess). I definitely plan on returning and would like to check out the Sunday brunch (offered 10-2 pm). read more

Hey came out there to have dinner on Saturday night waited for an hour. Service was OK but our food took an extremely long time when it did come the shrimp and the chicken were over cooked and the chicken was not edible the waitress had to be flag down at least twice just for waters. I understand they were super busy but I don't think I'll come back and order food there anytime soon even though I live less than a mile away I was very disappointed read more

First time going to this restaurant and didn't expect it to be a great experience because we had a party of 28 people with no reservation. The wait time was less then 10 mins and everything from the food to our waiter was perfect! I will definitely be going back read more

I am not sure what was going on with this place the evening I visited, it was my first time so I don't know if this is the norm. We started of by ordering the Ahi Tuna Nachos and the Egg Roll Trio. The Ahi Tuna Nachos were inedible, the chips were stale, to the point where I couldn't bite through them because they were so chewy, and the fish was a weird warm texture. The egg rolls were okay but cold. To replace the Nachos we got the Quesadilla, added chicken, it was fine, again cold, sent it back to get reheated, by the time it came out again, it was cold...again. We also got the spinach artichoke dip, the bowl was half full and again, yup, cold. My friend specifically asked if it came with bread, we were told it does, but guess what didn't come on the plate? Yep, the bread. It came with tortilla chips, which were stale and some home made potato chips (these were really good)!!! I ended up bringing the quesadilla home and warming it up myself and then finally ate it. With Yard House two doors down from this place, I don't see this place making it long term. $60 and the only thing I really enjoyed was the potato chips. ‍ read more

I don't generally do reviews, but I must acknowledge the professionalism, excellent customer service, accommodation and care of our waiter ITALO. I am very particular about the service I receive and I am observant of many things when being served in a restaurant. Today I had only my 2nd best waiter in way too many years of eating out. ITALO, IS AN EXAMPLE TO BE FOLLOWED IN MAGGIE MCFLY'S IN SPRINGFIELD, VA. read more

I have been to Maggie McFlys for lunch and the sandwiches and service were both were great. For dinner they seem quite understaffed or something. while our drinks and food came out and were good, we couldn't seem to get bread for close to 30 minutes. Not crazy about bread as dessert. Then the milkshake my child ordered took 20 minutes to bring. The server brought it and the check together and wanted to know if we wanted a togo cup. We spoke to a manager bout the timing issues and got 20% off but that wasn't really the point. I'll have to think twice before doing another dinner there even though the food was very good. I rate overall experience as so-so. read more

Please save your money and time. This place is terrible. Honestly one of the worst restaurants I've eaten at. The menu is extensive but don't let that fool you, the quality is cheap and flavors are horrid. Seems like the cheapest frozen food they reheat and spruce up. Honestly boggles my mind because it's a nice establishment. I've been here 3 times. All 3 times were pure disappointment. The second time I was seated but never served, not even water! So we got up and left after nearly 20 minutes. The waiters seem like they don't know what they're doing and it's clear to me the ingredients aren't fresh. I question the kitchen cleaning practices as our water glasses were oily and I ordered the crispy calamari which had chicken tender pieces all throughout it. Yuck, maybe clean the oil out before throwing another customers totally different meal in? Cross contamination. I ordered the egg roll sampler, the rolls were completely dried up - no edible filling left what so ever. The artichoke dip looks like a science experiment. I really wanted to like this place but after 3 times it's a hard no for me. read more

First time here. We're on our wedding anniversary and decided to try this place and it was awesome; from the cleanliness to the servers. Totally more than expected; definitely will come back again!!!! read more

The food is really good BUT it takes forever to get your food. I have been here twice and both times it has taken over a half of an hour for the food to come out and their waiters are hard to find to get refills on drinks. The food saves this place so if you aren't in a hurry stop by and try it out. read more

Sorry I didn't take a picture of any of my food because 80% of it was sent back. First time trying Maggie's, great atmosphere, large menu items but the quality is just not there. The trio egg rolls were not good. Specifically the Buffalo & Philly cheese steak. Told the manager the meat taste was old to me. She stated it's made fresh every morning. Regardless if it's made fresh the taste is completely off. The garnish for the rolls was even decayed lettuce leaf. I don't understand how it Made it to the plate. The website states several vegetarian options. Which is not the truth. The Mediterranean Ravioli was cold and flavorless. I can't believe it's even on the menu. The southern chicken was good minus the canned corn with spicy peppers. The plastic corn ruined the entire dish. I don't mind paying for anything we're actually great tippers. The food quality was horrible and the manager still rug up a $89 tab. The truffle fries are not truffle fries. You think they would be on the level of yard house you're sadly mistaken. They were cold and the taste was awful and overly processed No fresh ingredients at all. So what was good, the fried pickles. The customer service of two servers, I had leave them a great tip and the host stand finger nails were pretty. That's about it. The one store is for the amazing servers but the food is a no, no, no. Last thing I ordered a Arnold Palmer and NOT ONE TIME was it ever refilled. I had to ask for one to go. read more

This place is going to become a staple! I can feel it. Not only was the service remarkable, the atmosphere from the dining room to the bar and outside seating is phenomenal. Yes, it's in the mall - but it feels like it stands alone. Now let's talk about the food. The menu is a book - a literal book. There are so many options for food alone then they throw in craft beers, an extensive wine list, and the cocktails...Lawd the cocktails. I had a spicy margarita with a chili salted rim... so on point. The husband ate his entire Wagu (sp?) beef burger with truffle fries with a beer and was in heaven. We even tried the chicken potstickers as an appetizer. Fresh food amazing service best bang for your buck considering the options around the area. Heres to hoping Maggie McFlys continues to be excellent! read more

Went to Maggie McFlys for the first time tonight. Their happy hour prices are great! Half off apps and the menu is pretty lengthy. The food is ok/pretty good but the service was awful. All in all I think 3 stars is pretty fair. read more

We've had delivery of several items, all excellent. In particular, the fish is generous in size and perfectly cooked. Packed great too and hot. Nice veggies. Will be trying the whole menu. read more

Menu is way big. They have anything you might want from burgers, pizza, BBQ, Asian, steak, seafood. I Think the menu is like 20 pages. Problem is with such a large menu, nothing we ordered was very fresh. Service was okay. read more

3/23, Springfield, Va - This restaurant replaced what used to be a BBQ joint when the new mall first opened. Walking in, it looked almost the same, just the bar had more booths and seating than the last place did. We had to wait almost an hour for seating, so we left a number and went to Zinburger for cocktails until it was time to be seated. Got the text about 40mins after we checked in and we were seated immediately upon returning. The menu was HUGE! Almost like Cheesecake Factory. There was sooo much to choose from, which can be stressful for some. There were snacks, apps, salads, tacos, chicken dishes, seafood, steaks, pastas and so much more. My friends and I got the crab cakes, the French dip, chicken and waffles and the fried chicken dinner. The crab cakes had a lot of filler in them, so they weren't the best. The French dip was really good. My friends with the chicken dishes said theirs were pretty good too! The drinks were fantastic! I had a Belgian fruit punch (bluemoon with some liqueur) and my girlfriend had some sort of martini with a cool digital ice cube in it. Overall, not a bad restaurant. We have to go back to try some of the other items since the menu was so huge. Probably going to be great for happy hour. read more

This was by far the biggest let down in awhile. I have yet to return back to Maggie McFly's since we have been in a pandemic, and what was a place I highly recommended, I will no longer be doing that. My boyfriend was visiting, and I said let's go somewhere nice to get dessert to enjoy the beautiful weather we were having yesterday. During our stay, when we received our first round of dessert, we had to send one back because it was the wrong cake. Then, I never received a spoon to eat mine, and mine was not even hot. A whole ten minutes went by before we were checked on by our server. Then, when I told him it wasn't hot, he made me feel like I was in the wrong for asking for a redo. Not to mention, I asked for a spoon. When I received my new one, it was hot, but another person that worked there literally dropped it on the table, and swiftly walked away. I had to flag down our server again to get a spoon before the ice cream melted. Also, the wait time for another drink was annoying as well. I used to serve, and I would have practiced more empathy if something was not to a guest's liking. It's just all around disappointing because this is the second restaurant I have visited since before Thanksgiving, and I was excited to show off something I loved to experience with the person that has kept me sane during these times to only be let down. I won't be going back any time soon. read more

I will say for a new restaurant, they are impressive. My friends and I visited Maggie McFly's for Happy Hour and had a great time. We shared a few Bar Bites like Mac & Cheese bits were awesome, the Nachos were ok with too many olives, the potato skins were tasty, steak and cheese egg rolls rocked, Tex mex rolls weren't memorable, truffle fries were hitting and my friends loved the crab bites. I will say I was first concern about how service will be because my friend complained about waiting for service for 10 mins after entering. But when I arrived, Christian was to the rescue. He provided great service to our whole table. He made slow food at times not seem bad. I give a 4 of 5 stars for only 2 reasons: 1) the cupcakes are ridiculously expensive for this area. They are $7 each. As a foodie I was surprised. 2) the deviled eggs looked unappealing and too liquidity. Try them out! Oh yeah their veggie burger option was quite delic (Not on HH). read more

Stopped in for dinner a few weeks ago and enjoyed the fried chicken meal, and cocktails were good too. We arrived just before 7pm, no waiting. The server was a little "flighty", other than that it's a nice atmosphere, TVs with the variety of sports to watch and fun. read more

Went here the other night w a few friends. Tried three of the drinks they were all fun and very good. Got the poke nachos and they were great.. much easier to eat as they were individually topped unlike yard house which are kind of messy. Also had the s'mores which was so cute and fun with friends. Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu since there's so much to try. read more

I met my son for lunch today and it took them 25 minutes to get our food, although the restaurant was not that busy. I ordered Fish & Chips and the plate came out with 4 sticks and tons of Fries. Fish stick was almost covered with batters, I hardly seen any fish inside, when I decided that was too much of the batters or no fish at all. Fries were cold, tartar Sauce was extremely terrible, this was my first time and I thought I would tried the new place, but it was a bad choice for me, I felt bad for my son as well as he had 3 tacos and he hardly finished them. To me I would be careful to read more reviews before you try this restaurant read more

Our food was great and the service was outstanding. Rachel was our server and she was a delight and provided excellent customer service.

Service and beverage were pretty good, but the menu is a hit or miss. I prefer the yard house next door over this.

Could be a great place, but unfortunately they are very inconsistent. Same dish could be great one day and horrible the next. At least the Staff is friendly. Recommendation: train your Cooks to be consistent and have a manager quality check before it goes out. read more

Though it was not busy--empty seats at the bar, empty tables inside, mostly full outside, our table of 10 had to wait more than 20 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them. (Beer and wine only). Ordered our food and it came out in shifts with the last two five minutes after everyone else. My tacos were cold and mediocre. I did not say anything while there as I did not want to make the person who organized the night feel bad. Menu is WAY too big. High-top chairs really uncomfortable, especially for shorter people. The bar looked inviting but I will be hard pressed to return given all the other choices nearby. read more

Service was great. Beer on tap selection awesome. Some weird booming noise. My husband thought the burger was okay and said Glory Days had better burgers. I had the Reuben with a side Caesar salad. The salad was fairly dry. The Reuben - well, for the area it was okay. The bread was toasted and the corned beef a little too greasy and the thousand island was too red and tangy. Really thought a restaurant started in CT would have a decent Reuben. The search continues. I need to make a trip north soon and eat something besides seafood and pizza. I would come back for happy hour. read more

Very good cocktails but the most basic regular bar food with a menu so extensive there is no way they could specialize in any one dish. Service is good though read more

Great service, friendly staff and food is the best! I will be back! It is very competitive with the service at Yard House.

My husband and I came here for the first time today and we had excellent service and food. We were overwhelmed at all the menu items and will definitely be back to try more! We had the spinach dip as an app and it was big enough to serve a few people. Our entrees were good as well and they offer military discount definitely a perk! read more

Guys. Guys. You gotta try this joint. OMGGGGGG the steak egg rolls are amazeballs!!! Now, I've eaten in the restaurant, done takeout and ordered through DoorDash...here's the thing that got them 4 stars instead of the 5 that a lot of this food deserves: they regularly screw up orders. Like....a lot. Not a great thing, BUT there is a saving grace (thank Jeebus, because I literally cannot exist without these egg rolls!!!) and that is outstanding customer service. Maria, one of the managers, has had to fix at least two orders that I can remember (I know there were more, but...the Instant Gratification Monkey in my brain is telling ne to order those egg rolls RIGHT NOW and I'm distracted...) and she made it more than right every time. Kept me coming back even though they once mixed something I was allergic to in with the fried pickles (NO, Instant Gratification Monkey! No fried pickles either!). She even insisted next time we were in the restaurant to meet us face to face. Normally, I'd have dropped even more stars for the consistent bungling of orders, but good customer service (even our server Mateo, who was training on his first day, was a doll!) means EVERYTHING. My advice? Skip the fancy dishes (they tend towards the mediocre, i.e. chicken piccata), stick to the craft-pubby type stuff (the buffalo egg rolls were great as --- NOT RIGHT NOW, Instant Gratification Monkey!!!) and the slightly over-priced drinkage aaaaaand DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER. Every time. If this you do, deliciousness you shall have. read more

Every time I am in town I get to swing by this awesome place. Don't be overwhelmed by the menu because if you ask for Alex, you will be in great hands! He knows his business. Friendly, professional and just a easily in my top 5 servers of all time! My standards are high so believe me, its shows how much he cares about his customers. So check this place out and definitely order a round of those addicting steak and cheese spring rolls!...and of course ask for Alex. read more

This is our 4th visit and we were hesitant to come back as service was a little slow and no one was ever up front at the desk when you come in. Service was awesome tonight and I'm glad we sat at the bar. Alexander, at the bar, was the BEST! He knew the menu, offered great suggestions/recommendations and made awesome drinks. He was so good we asked what nights he worked! We gave a 5 star rating all because of him. The burger and wings were great too! We will be back, on the nights he works. read more

Unfortunately, service is not up to par. We stopped in for the first time last week and had a lot of fun. There was a little craft beer/ distillery fest, and food was good. Our service was okay that day, but two other tables had really slow service and complained about their food. Management food their best by buying them drinks and re-did the other table's food. We went back in tonight and sat for quite awhile before even being acknowledged. I just don't think we will return. We ended up heading next door feeling we gave the place the benefit of the doubt. read more

First time coming here. We sat at the bar. Service was really slow, bartender was inattentive. We kept having to flag him down. Food was meh. The fried avocado was good. Our entrees were just ok. No one every checked in to see if we were ok, or wanted another drink. Restaurant wasn't busy. Now I know why. read more

This is a great addition to the Springfield dining choices. The menu has tons of choices and the dishes we tried were great (the Snack Attack appetizer sampler, the lamb gyro, the Garbage Burger, the kids grilled chicken, the kids chicken nuggets, and the Campfire Smores). Qe went in on a Saturday night at 6, and were told the wait would be 60 minutes, but it was only about 30 minutes. I really appreciate that the food is made in-house, and the ingredients come from either local farms or family-owned businesses. My kids decided this was their new favorite place to eat! read more

Great food and service. The Burger Salad was so big and delicious and a perfect medium rare. Main dishes were excellent. The edamame was ok but not really seasoned well. Drinks were good but not great, especially for the price. The real disappointment was the service. Just took forever to be served and they got orders wrong. I felt like I was not a priority.
