I remember being on the hunt for the authenticity Italian pasta. Visiting a place call "Little Italy" seems to be a great start. It wasn't exactly Paris but, it was a bit of a fix for the moment. I attempted to recreate Salmon pasta, and pasta with meat sauce. It's been a while since I've been here but I'll go back when I need another fix.

My company had a work event here for about 40 people and the Maggiano's team handled it phenomenally. Upon walking into the event room, I immediately noticed the mini bar right outside the doors and was welcomed with a drink right away. They also had our company name on the tables on welcome cards. Great preparation by the team. The food was decent considering it was for a party as big as ours was, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about either. There was a good selection of everything from Caesar salad to salmon to 2 different cakes for dessert (cheesecake and tiramisu). I would not complain if our company does another event here. There is a strong smell of cheese throughout the restaurant which wasn't pleasant but also understandable given the dishes they serve.

Good food with large portions. Great for sharing. The staff is always helpful and the ambiance is nice. The place is great for large parties with ample seating.

Delicious!!! My friend & I have been twice so far. I had the Chicken Alfredo and Maggiano's Salad (highly recommend!) The Chicken Francese they put on the Alfredo is melt in your mouth scrumptious The pasta is so creamy! The crusty bread & olive oil so yummy too. Our server was Jamesha & she was incredible. Good deal with the $25 "Big Deal"

A Meetup group I belong to gathered at Maggiano's for New Year's Eve. Making reservations was easy on Open Table. Five of us were seated on a far corner. There was a live band and no cover charge. Restaurant staff handed out hats for the men, noise makers and head gear for women. G waited on us. We had no problem getting separate checks. I ordered a Maggiano's salad with no bacon. It had too much red onions so I'll order it without next time. Then I had a side of spaghetti with marinara. Though it's a side, the portion is generous. I was given a delicious complimentary bread when I asked for it. Maggiano's had a complimentary glass of champagne for all the diners. This is definitely a place to celebrate New Year's Eve for those that want a low key celebration with no loud music and extravagant entry fees. And parking is free. Valet was $8.

Mother's Day 2025 Menu

I had a great time here for Mother's Day 2025 with my family. They were offering a prefix menu (family style) for our lunch that included appetizers, pasta dishes and dessert. We got to have 4 appetizers in total which was pretty awesome; Caesar salad, fresh bread rolls with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, cheese plate, meatballs, calamari and fried zucchini. For our pasta dishes we chose the fettuccine Alfredo, lobster carbonara, rigatoni ala vodka, and the beef tenderloin medallions. I can honestly say everything was DELICIOUS and made freshly. Also the desserts were just as amazing. Our waitress Cece was super attentive and made sure we were taken care of even though it was a bit chaotic. Our table was super small so it was hard to fit everything on the table but she did amazing in getting everything cleaned up and organized. Highly recommended!

We were seated immediately which was really nice since it was a Saturday night and we didn't have a reservation. Our server was very attentive and he gave great menu recommendations. The Italian Margarita was a little salty and very strong, highly recommend giving it a good stir because the cream does help it go down smoother 8/10. The Caesar Salad was huge and perfect for sharing, however I would've loved more dressing and the croutons were mid 6.5/10. Calamari was such a good portion to share and the batter was nice and light. I wish it was a bit crispier, but overall very solid 8/10. The Chicken Piccata was so yummy, everything was cooked perfectly 9.5/10! To end everything off we had the Tiramisu for dessert, good choice and very creamy 8/10. Overall I would recommend, perfect for a date night or to celebrate a special occasion.

The family went to Maggiano's for my nephew's graduation dinner and the family experience did not disappoint. We had the perfectly friend calamari, the Waygu meatballs and the fried zucchini just for appetizers. The entrees were superb with the Salmon, lasagna, Bolognese Fettuccine and the shrimp scampi. My nephew said that he had really wanted the chicken fettuccine Alfredo so the terrific manager Ms. Wanda made it happen for him. The rest was history because we enjoyed the desserts (tiramisu, cheesecake and the lemon cookies but the highlight was the special small cake given to my nephew since he was being celebrated. I can't even tell you the name of the dessert but I tasted his and it was great. The whole place felt warm and welcoming. The atmosphere said family.

This is a solid Italian place. Best lasagna I've ever had for sure. I got the Italian mix salad, and that mix up sourness in the salad (with the vinaigrette and the olives) mixed so good with the meat sauce of the lasagna it was perfect for my lunch break. The servers were so attentive, the manager stopped by my table and say hi making sure everything was good with my food. I had a glass of wine to pair it with.

My husband and I were in Houston for a family event, just a day before our anniversary, and we may have had the best waiter at Maggiano's. His service exceeded five stars--he was incredibly helpful, courteous, and thoughtful. It's rare to experience that level of hospitality these days, and we truly appreciated it. Although I was dealing with jet lag and didn't catch his name, I'm certain he was the tallest waiter there he stood out in more ways than one. The food was incredible, and we left with five bags of leftovers! Because of this experience, Maggiano's will be our go-to spot every time we visit Houston from California. This waiter left a lasting impression on our entire family.

I would come back for drinks and appetizers. The presentation for the drinks were outstanding. The ambiance is incredible, too. Even the service was amazing. However, the large room our company was in had poor temperature control. It was freezing, then off... as in very hot and humid in a quickness that never dissipated. The food was good, but it was not outstanding. Had I not recently had truly incredible Italian food, I would not have been as disappointed. The eggplant parmigiana had perhaps an American twist? It was arranged in thick, dry cuts with some cheese sticking the pieces together. The sauce was alright. In general, the entree was fine. The calamari, bruschetta, and mushrooms were certainly the highlight of the meal. Again, I would come back for appetizers.

Visited on Saturday evening 12.28.2024 and had maybe a 5 minutes wait before friendly staff escorted us to a booth. Spacious interior, a bar next to the entrance and prompt service with reasonable prices. We ordered 4 cheese ravioli 5/5, chicken Alfredo fettuccine 2/5--chicken tasted like it was a frozen chicken and there was no flavor to the pasta. Now the dessert chocolate layer cake was decadent 5/5.

We sat on the patio and even though we were there for two hours our server never missed a beat! We ordered a bottle of Prosecco to start and he was always there right before our wine glasses were empty to refill them, and then again to get us started on something else when the bottle was gone. Our waters were never empty, as soon as a plate was cleared it was gone, as we finished a slice of pizza he was there to serve our next. The food was all lovely: we had the insalata Bianca and the arugula salad with lemon vinaigrette, we both agreed the arugula salad was our favorite, I'm not usually a fan of a salad with just arugula in it, but this was so good I'm going to go home and try to duplicate the dressing so I can make all the time! We then had the Rabiola and Salsiccia E Friarielli pizzas, both cooked perfectly, our server recommended the rabiola and so glad we got it! Finished off with great coffee and the chef brought us out these amazing little dark chocolate truffles and biscotti to go with it. Honestly, one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. First off, it's located in a cool little pocket on the East End inside Tlaquepaque Market. It looks a bit dark from the outside at night, but once you step in, it's warm and cozy. There's also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. My wife and I shared the pane along with their Valentine's Day prix fixe menu, which included an appetizer, salad, pasta, and dessert. The pane came out warm - perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The starter was a scallop with pomegranate vinaigrette that was light, bright, and a great way to open up the palate. The salad (I think it was purple kale, but I forgot to ask) was fresh and well-balanced. For the main, we had a pasta dish topped with a ribeye meatball that featured a bold sauce with tons of flavor, and the meatball had a subtle kick to it. Dessert was a cherry gelato that was simple, refreshing, and the perfect way to end the meal. They also have a solid wine selection, which paired nicely with dinner. Service was great - our server Philip was clearly busy but still made sure to check on us regularly. Overall, this is a great East End date-night spot. They also have a spacious outdoor patio that feels like it was pulled straight out of an Italian backyard. We'll definitely be back.

Suffice to say, we have this on our go back and keep trying the dishes list. Everything was excellent. Emilio, our server was great, the restaurant itself is open but cozy, and they dimmed the lighting as the sun went down and it was really nice. Our glasses stayed full, and the food was amazing. We got the mushroom pastry thing from the appetizers - perfection. The pastry itself was a knockout but the "sauce" was *chefs kiss*. It's something I already desperately want to recreate at home but know it won't get there, c'est la vie. Anyways, the specials sounded amazing but we settled for giving the regular menu a whirl. He had the seafood lasagna and I had the chicken piccata. Both were excellent. Their chicken piccata take is better than the standard version - highly recommend. Hubs said the lasagna was great too. All in all, we loved everything, can't wait to go back. I'd also rate Mia Bella extremely high on value - for service, food quality, and portion size they're very reasonable on cost.

Some of y'all are silly gooses Anyway, my friend and I came by on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy! The inside of the restaurant is decorated with so many Italian knick knacks which gives this place a cozy vibe. Instead of ordering an appetizer and an entree, my friend and I decided to order 3 things from the appetizer menu: Arancini Montanare Impepata Napoletana The arancini was delicious! The exterior/crust wasn't too thick and was fried nicely. As for the filling, it had cheese, beef, and tomato sauce- yum! I really enjoyed the montanare because it came with 3 different toppings. Not to mention, the bread was fantastic! All 3 were great but my favorite was the one with smoked provolone, anchovy, and the red chili on top (I believe that's what the red topping is). The Impepata Napoletana was another solid dish- loved the white wine sauce with garlic and pepper. Although it was a tad bit too salty for me, it paired nicely with the bread. For dessert, my friend got the pistachio gelato and I ordered the Tiramisu. Both were a great way to end dinner. Food was wonderful, our waiter was very friendly/welcoming, and the vibes were lovely. The problem was the food did not match the high reviews at all. My wife's lasagna came out looking like a giant block of tofu. It didn't resemble lasagna, the pasta felt rubbery, and the meat didn't even look like ground beef. She didn't feel comfortable eating it. Her Greek salad also looked off, like a mix between a Caesar salad and something random with feta on top. I ordered the Chelidra Rossa because I love red snapper. What I got was definitely not red snapper. It tasted and broke apart like old tilapia that had been sitting for days. The dish also only came with one shrimp, which was disappointing. The pasta, vegetables, and mushrooms were bland and had no flavor. The bread was not fresh. When I asked for vinegar, they brought another oil mixture that wasn't what I asked for. The calamari came with a dried-out lemon that had clearly been sitting, and I had to ask for fresh slices. The pizza also didn't taste right, and the cheese had a grainy texture that didn't melt like normal pizza cheese. For what we paid, the quality didn't come close to matching the price. We ate maybe 10 percent of our food and left. I honestly don't understand how people are saying this place has fresh pasta and fresh ingredients. Based on our experience, it clearly did not. Real, honest reviews matter, and this was ours. I really wanted to like this place, but this just wasn't it. I won't be returning.
