Zalat Pizza makes hand-tossed New York style pizzas, which means they're on the thin side. I personally prefer a thicker, fluffier crust, so that was the main thing I didn't care for, but that doesn't stop me from appreciating a good pizza. I did a pick up order, but there was plenty of seating available inside and it looked pretty clean and nice. The workers were very friendly and since the pizzas were done when we came to pick them up, we were in and out. LOADED NOTATO: We added sausage to this, and I feel like it definitely made it better. The flavors were all good, but the blue cheese ranch didn't taste like blue cheese, so that was disappointing. CHICKEN TERIYAKI: As soon as I saw this, I had to try it! I love teriyaki and couldn't believe I've never seen anyone else do this because it was delicious! There was a good amount of teriyaki sauce, not too much, but a complimentary amount to the thin pizza. And the chicken and onions tasted good and fresh! I'd definitely get this again! The toppings and flavors are really good, but this is definitely better suited for thin crust lovers. Since I do not live far, the pie arrived home still hot & we dove in. I admit, this pizza is really, really good! From the crust to the fresh ingredients I enjoyed my first slice, telling myself to slow down & enjoy the moment. Did you know that you can play pizza roulette? Well I was disturbed that the server Ruby Z. According to my receipt had on these black gloves that had pizza dough on them throughout the entire transaction.
