For some reason our reviews of this location back in 2024 got moved to the San Antonio location's page. (many yelpers had reviewed this location in the past but it's now shown as a SA location on their page, weird) Anyways, Good Detroit style pizza options with a very customizable menu and full bar. (even if you're lactose or gluten free!) The service was good in my 2nd visit - server was very attentive and informative. Pro-tip you can download the app for $10 off your visit (it's part of their promotion to try them first time) The edges were crispy and the toppings tasted fresh. If you never tried this kind of pizza before it's a must - l loved the unique, crunchy, almost fried texture of the crust The restaurant had a very chill ambiance, though a bit empty for a weekend. Got to try a cocktail previously and opted for a Detroit root beer pop this time around. Overall a great experience and ideal for a family or friend gathering. They do have TVs at the bar showing games as well.

They have great happy hour specials!

I had passed by this restaurant several times but never stopped in. I decided to try it yesterday and I'm glad I did. It was sooooooo good. I love the ambience and the story behind the business of the two brothers from Detroit. The manager explained that they have great happy hour specials too! I had the deep dish pizza with prosciutto and balsamic and a pepperoni (they allow you to select 2 different pizzas 1/2 and 1/2), while my guest tried the supreme thin crust pizza both were delicious. The music was a little loud in a little too hard rock for me, but overall, I had loved it. They do have tables out front that you can sit at so you don't have to hear the music.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza

This is our favorite pizza spot! But lately it's become a disappointment. On this last order, Door Dash delivered, I ordered the Buffalo Chick, with extra onions (extra cost) & baked extra crispy. NONE of those requests were received! There is no excuse for requests thus simple to be ignored. So now I'm baking my pizza, again to add crispness to it. See pic, soggy pizza with barely any onions.

Outdoor seating for the win when you have the pup!

Excellent service by Ladarius, we sat outside and kudos for having a place to take the dog. He brought water for our pup and also gave us a side of the garlic parm sauce which was so yummy! Via is one of my husband's favorite pizzas but the crust is omg good! We got the Hawaiian, herbivore, Cadillac and Detroiter. The last 2 were the best and on regular Detroit crust. Dog not included!

Via 313 is Austin based and it feels like it from the inside. The environment is bright and inviting and the restaurant itself is quite spacious. I ordered the roasted artichoke, bob brazil and the monthly special the vodka pizza. My favorite was the vodka pizza. It was crispy and fluffy and the flavor was on point. Not too sweet or tangy it was just right. My least favorites were the roasted artichoke. The dip tastes like it needs more seasoning because the marinara/tomato part tasted like it came right out of the can. Would definitely come back here and try other pizzas. The service was quick and the serve I had was very accommodating.

Small pizza is more than enough for me!

Of the Detroit style pizzas in Houston, this is one of my favorites. It looks heavy, but is actually light on its feet like a great offensive lineman... that's when you know you have a good Detroit style pizza. I can eat this and be happy knowing I won't be comatose napping in an hour. The bread is buttery and light, the cheese is nicely crispy at the corners, and the sauce has a nice tang. My only complaint would be that I placed the order online for pickup at a certain time, and when I arrived it wasn't ready for another 10-15 because they seemed to be a little in the weeds with the dinner crowd. Thankfully, I wasn't in a hurry, and I happily ate my pizza when it was ready. Recommended!

The staff workers really are the nicest people. Walk you to your table and waiters are in great spirits and know the menu. Bartender did amazing on Pumpkin Spice Martini, what a treat that was. Highly recommended to try! Detroit-Style pizza was great crust with a soft crunch not burnt and the flavors just flow in your mouth with out an overpowering sauce. If you love pizza I highly recommend! So many options to try and cinnamon sticks were truly icing on cake!

This pizza was extremely delicious! Service was great and prompt and I will 100% be coming back. I didn't have the Detroit style this time but I'm excited to try.

So I have tried the regular Caesar sandwich and the cojito- def love the cojito it's a bit of a Tex-Mex Caesar salad taste. Either way what they do is with the bread they pull the inside of the bread out and fill it with a salad, which is a sandwich portion so they don't open the bread up and slice it. This makes it kind of like a baguette situation love the idea so fresh and so crunchy! I need the app. They were so sweet inside that we got to try the tea before we purchased.

If you don't have very many locations aren't exactly established yet in the city you're trying to plant in, and a patron comes in and says it's their first time, some recommendations and signature dish items would be nice to hear. There were a lot of staff on this Sunday afternoon, but didn't really see there was much effort into the overall experience. The food station was dirty and messy, there were gnats flying around our food where we were sitting, and when we got our zeppelins, it was drenched or drowning in the dressing and th overall sandwich was overly salty because of it. I ordered the Mediterranean Cobb and held off on the blue cheese and subbed feta. The grilled chicken literally was so chewy and tasted like rubber I had to spit it out and then pick the rest of the chicken out, this place is NOT cheap. Quite pricey for a large sub stuffed with a salad. If you're paying $15 for a sandwich, you expect to get quality ingredients. The chicken was not edible. Staff just stood around and would chit chat, not really attentive or maintaining the restaurant very well. I'm willing to give it another shot maybe and try their salad...but I'd heed on the dressing and ask for it on the side.

Eat, Drink, HTX…read more Made a reservation for a Sunday night dinner for three. The restaurant is so cute and cozy with tables and booths. Lots of TVs to watch the Olympic Games while you wait for dinner. I liked watching the open pizza oven. They make a lot of pizzas here. The Eat, Drink, HTX menus are a great way to try new restaurants while giving back to the Houston Food Bank. A starter, an entree and a dessert. $25 for dinner. So many choices on this menu. A great deal while helping out those in need. "Started" with the Turkey Samosas. Four crispy pastries that are filled with seasoned ground turkey, potatoes and parsley served with cucumber yogurt. Delicious! The Ember & Greens Soup that my family had was hot, hot, hot and so tasty. The fresh soup was filled with a blend of spinach, parsley, and cilantro with chickpeas, caramelized onions, pinto beans and quinoa. My FIL polished off his bowl! For dinner, we all had the Blackened Salmon. The salmon with lemon butter and avocado salsa served on roasted carrots, broccoli and potatoes and a bed of quinoa. It was a full plate, which we all took home for dinner the next day. Note: it is quite buttery. My FIL had his butter and avocado salsa on the side which worked for him. I loved mine as is. Even though we were pretty full, we still enjoyed dessert. The tiramisu was so indulgent. Loved the layered mascarpone custard, whipped cream, coffee liqueur and coffee-soaked ladyfingers. My FLI had the Chia Seed Pudding with fresh berries. What a great meal. We had a slight hiccup where the appetizers came slightly after the main meal was served, but they were so honest about what happened that I still have to give them five stars for their food and their service. Would try them again for their generous, delicious meals. Lots of parking. Water glasses were frequently filled both with and without meals. Thank you for a really nice Sunday night dinner with family.

It was a beautiful day, so it would have been the perfect day to eat outside if you like that. I'm an eat indoors kind of person, but if you like to eat outside, they do have a few tables for that. I was meeting a friend for lunch and she suggested Ember & Green. We really couldn't decide what to order, so we decided to order a few things and share them. We started off with the Persian Cucumber Sald. It had Persian cucumbers, heirloom cherry tomatoes, red onions, and Kalamata olives with oil and lemon dressing and topped with parsley and feta cheese. Let me tell you, thats lemon dressing was delicious! It went so well with the cucumbers. Next we ordered Blackened salmon with lemon butter and avocado salsa, served with charred broccolini, roasted carrots and potatoes on a bed of cilantro green pea quinoa. I'm really not a huge fan of salmon, but I'm trying to like it more by trying it different ways. The spices that they put on the salmon were really good, not too spicy, but also, not bland. It was also cooked perfectly. Oh, and that lemon butter... that lemon butter made the meal if you ask me. It was so good. So good in fact, I had to try and make salmon with lemon butter at him the very next week. Mine didn't come out as good as Ember & Greens, but it was decent. That just means that I need to leave the cooking to the professional. For dessert we decided to share the Skillet Cookie. Its a house made chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with Amy's Mexican Vanilla Ice Cream and chocolate sauce. This was the only thing that we ordered that was a nope. I dont know what happened, but it didn't seem like it was cooked at all in the middle. We took a few bites, that was all we could eat of it. All and all, it was a good experience and I will go back. I'll just skip dessert next time.

The atmosphere is very welcoming! One thing that really stood out, and I haven't seen many restaurants do this -- is that they offer you a small sample of the food before you order. That little touch made a huge difference! It helped me decide on the right heat level for my chicken and narrow down which sides I wanted. Such a simple gesture, but so thoughtful. I ordered the H-Town wings with the hot honey sauce and a side of their homemade ranch -- and WOW. The wings were incredible, and that ranch? Delicious doesn't even cover it. I also ordered the leg and thigh Korean style, and while the flavor was amazing, it was a bit too saucy for my taste. I hate sending food back, but I knew I wasn't going to eat it -- so I did. And let me tell you, they handled it with such grace and kindness. No attitude, no awkwardness -- just genuine, outstanding customer service. That right there says everything about the kind of establishment Tumble 22 is. I couldn't even finish everything (portions are generous!), but the leftovers reheated perfectly in the air fryer the next day. I will absolutely be back -- especially for those H-Town wings. Go try them. You won't regret it!
