Additionally, it contained a whole star anise and a bay leaf--ingredients we have never encountered in this dish before. The staff member stated the recipe had not changed and that the packaging issue "shouldn't be," adding that they would check with the staff. I mentioned that I had taken a photo of the food and offered to share them, but the offer was not taken up. When I expressed hesitation about ordering this dish again due to the lack of consistency, I was told the person was too busy to continue the conversation. They ended the call without taking my name, contact details, or photos to follow up.
