We ordered the chicken korma and butter chicken at different spice levels. Just a heads-up: the spice scale leans very American-mild, so if you actually want heat, order a 3 or higher. That said, service and communication were off. When we walked in, none of the tables were cleaned, and we were told the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes, even though we arrived about 2 hours before their posted closing time. It felt rushed and unexpected. Because it's family-owned, it's possible they had something going on (Friday night, maybe closing early), but there were no signs posted and no notice online, so we had no way of knowing beforehand. So I will say I do like my food however I have a couple of issues... I wanted both of my dishes to be spicy and they was not! I got the shrimp karma and the shrimp tikka. I wish they would take off the shells on the tails of the shrimp. I will say The dish is quite oily. We ordered another appetizer at the recommendation of the waitress called fish Pakora and although I enjoyed the flavor and it was definitely fresh, it wasn't really for me. But I would still recommend it to anyone who enjoys fried fish dishes. Also ordered lemon rice on the side (they only have big portions) and it was fresh and delicious! The portion sizes are huge though so you can definitely share with at least one other person, and have leftovers to take home. We got full pretty quickly so we took the rest in boxes but we will definitely be eating the leftovers for a few days. This is great though because it's like you're getting 2-3 meals for the price of one in my opinion. The waitress was kind and helpful and brought the food out quickly. Extremely small portions after having ordered the "Large size" for an extra $4.99. Naan was oddly chewy and difficult to break through in a normal bite. Flavors on the main dishes were good until i found a nice long black hair, in my mouth, after taking a bite of the salmon (which was basically three small pieces each for my wife and I). We never even touched the appetizer after finding a hair in our mains. We will absolutely NOT be ordering from or dining with this restaurant again. WAY overpriced and tiny portions, with obviously sketch food safety practices. Called the restaurant and was told to contact DoorDash, since weirdly my wife ordered through but went to pick up, jacking up the prices even more. So sad. It's located in the corner of the strip mall next to Shilla Bakery and Five Guys. If you are looking for perfectly seasoned dishes that engage the full array of you palate. The appetizer that you have to get is Palak Chat! A beautifully flavored dish with fried spinach leaves with mango and chutney based sweet sauce. It's a cold dish but you will not regret it! The butter chicken is out of this world and is a perfect balance of sweet and buttery goodness. We also ordered the Tandori platter but I don't think I would order it again.
