Eastside Tree Works did an outstanding job with both tree pruning and tree removal on my property,…read moreincluding handling trees that required a city permit. I really appreciated how they owned the entire end-to-end process, including coordinating directly with the city on the permit. That made everything much easier for me. The crew did an amazing job on both visits. Their pruning work was incredibly precise, and everything looks beautiful. They also did a thorough job cleaning up afterward, leaving the yard in great condition. There was a minor misunderstanding between myself and the project manager initially, but Eastside Tree Works handled it exceptionally well. They followed up with me, took the time to listen and understand exactly what I wanted, and promptly sent the crew back to complete the additional work. The crew truly went above and beyond. This was my second time working with Eastside Tree Works, and I would absolutely hire them again. I continue to recommend them to others. I really appreciate their customer service and love supporting small businesses like this. It's not always easy to find companies that care this much about doing great work and making sure their customers are happy. Thank you! And, extra shout out to Amanda. She is the best.

We opted to split the work between two companies who replied. Eastside Tree Works is one of the two companies; they were hired to crown-reduce/windsail/shape a flowering plum and a katsura tree. I waited to write the review to see how the trees recover and regrow. The quoting and initial process was very smooth and professional. Their response is fast for both the initial meet-up and providing the quote. Everything was done on their iPad, and quotes sent soon after. The task was also completed quickly. The task isn't significant, and they readily came and finished. The clean-up details are excellent. When done, I observed the flowering plum looked shapely but the katsura looked like a bad haircut. They agreed to come out and trim a stray branch that stuck out compared to the rest of the katsura crown. The katsura never regained a normal tree crown shape. It still looks like a bad haircut will a divot, v-shape at the top. See photo. The flowering plum is growing perfectly well this new spring season. Their cost is competitive.

Treee133 thoroughly impressed me; I was extremely pleased with the every aspect of our interactions. Everyone involved was knowledgable, professional, and very friendly, from initial contact through the free assessment/estimate and finally to the work crew who came out to handle the job. They were prompt in all their responses, showed up when they said they would, and finished the work quickly and cleanly. I could not have been happier with the outcome. I will not hesitate to call them again If I find myself needing similar services.

They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive bid we got for the work; but they were the most professional, the most organized, and the most focused on both the aesthetic work of the trimming AND the health of the trees. They are a great company to work with if: you want the work done well, the first time. You want your trees and property to look better afterwards. You don't want to worry about a person accidentally catapulting off a hundred foot tall Douglas Fir on your property. You value arborists that show up on time and are a well organized, detail-oriented team. On my research: One company reached out to us for tree work when we first moved in - their quote was triple what Tree133 ended up charging, so I put the work off for a couple of years. When I decided to get quotes for the work: another company was nice, but did not show up when we asked them to for the quote because I wanted to walk through the work with them, took a week to deliver the quote, and was half of what Tree133 ended up charging. A third company didn't even call us back. A fourth company was so disorganized that we couldn't even set up a time for a quote.
