This was a good neighborhood stop for a few friends, and we all had a good time for not much money. It seems like a really solid local bar with good food. Considering the cost I was kind of surprised it was as good as it was. The drinks were well made and did not taste watered down. The food portions were more than ample, and we were not able to finish our food despite our best efforts. Everything was really fresh and everything we ordered came out really fast. It was karaoke night when we went, and it was very fun if you like that sort of thing. Lord, help me... I convinced my BF to take me here last Friday for a drink. I heard through the grapevine that they do karaoke up here on Friday. So, we walked up from our humble abode and mosy-ed on in. Fist of all, it looks even worse inside than it does out. The place is dingy and dark. Second, I was really pumped for karaoke... until I heard the type of music people were singing Ragin rock punk metal fusion? Not one person sand anything remotely melodic. It made my stomach churn. Not that i dont love rage metal death metal rock punk and all things noisy, but it doesnt sound natural coming out in karaoke form. Third, the drinks were the same price as many bars in Seattle. 8 bucks for a Grape Nehi that was sour as f**K ('scuse the explitives) I could barely choke it down. Me and my honey played like 20 bucks in pulltabs, and then when some weirdo girl got up there and started to sing "sweet dreams" I knew id had just about enough. Dont think ill be going back there. So, another attempt at 1/2 off Burger Tuesdays was a success this time around. Decided to stop by after grocery shopping and grab something to eat. Burger it was! The lady and I shared the Pub Deluxe Burger with Tots and it was more than enough. Burger was pretty good (it would be better if they asked us how we like the patty prepared) and the tots were perfectly fried. Nice and crisp on the outside and soft and steaming hot in the inside. Lady got the Angry Orchard Hop 'N' Mad and it's probably my favorite cider from them now. I got the Deschutes Red Chair to pay homage to OR since I haven't had it in awhile. I'm curious of their other specials now...would definitely come back since it's a very close drive and the waitresses are nice. read more

Some friends and I came here because she recently moved in down the street so we wanted to check out the local pub. It had a wide variety of patrons but primarily and older crowd. The drinks were reasonably price but what stood out the most was how HUGE the portions were for the food. There were 5 of us and we ordered two apps and each an entree. I have been here 4 times trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt because our mutual friends like it. (For some unknown reasons, they say they make the drinks strong. I say they make the drinks taste like fecal matter) NO! Never again! Only older locals and a strange gathering of people TERRIBLE drinks, I have ordered bloody mary's, simple vodka drinks, etc all taste like S**T and the bartenders arent that attractive so I am not sure why they still have a job... The people who work there are RUDE if you are not over the age of 40 and a daily visitor to this crap hole Good luck trying to play pool in a tiny section without being unintentionally molested all night by the people trying to play at the table next to you. The Madison likely serves the best bar-fare in the Everett area. Regardless of time of day, from breakfast forward, their menu is expansive and their cooks have their craft dialed-in. The good ol' Madison Pub Grill. King of Blues music every Wednesday night. Rob Bramblett is the cool sound man who does everything at this place-works his ass off 6 days a week. Karaoke on certain nghts is pretty good for the most part. Pool tables, pull tabs...and the food here is OFF THE HOOK! My favorite is the french dip sandwich. The bartenders are super nice and very quick to get orders filled. My only main concern with this place is this...a lot of 40 and over folks who hang out as regulars during the week...who think this is THEIR place. And if you don't go in every day or spend a bunch of money, they are super snobby to you about it. Oh yes, had a few confrontations with folks on that issue. Must be nice to be able to come 3-7 times a week, waste half a day and $300 while talking bullshit to everyone you know while you are getting more drunk. Um, yeah. I stick to Wednesday nights only, and I stay for 2 hours, that's it. read more

After 2 years of hanging on to the one thread (their wings), I had my last visit yesterday. Unless you're a loud, obnoxious, MALE regular, you get one of two things: flat out ignored or blatantly treated like crap. Terrible service with EVERY visit, they let their regulars basically bully other patrons by being extremely loud and EXTREMELY offensive (it's a bar, not chuck-e-cheese, I get it) but really nasty stuff, they won't cancel live music for Football, even SEAHAWKS games (we have turned right back around and gave our Football business to someone else) the staff stands at the bar and eats their food and their prices are too much for what they are. They don't maintain any social media platforms, they don't have a website and they're Yelp page is unclaimed (meaning they won't see this review but maybe I can warn others), telling me they're not interested in driving new business and just maintaining their "regular" clientele. I was hoping the remodel meant new ownership/management but it turns out it was just glitter on a piece of crap. Nail in the coffin? Their UTTERLY NEGLIGENT handling of mandated Covid guidelines. They do have pretty good food and, as stated above, have fantastic wings. I love supporting local business but in this case, I will pay Buffalo's (Wild Wings) ridiculous prices to get my wing fix from now on. read more

I was looking for a good luch place in Everett, (HARD TO FIND ONE!) saw the reviews and tried it out. AMAZING! the food is great huge portions and taste great. One of the best Ruebens in the state! lots of TV's and yes it looks like a Sports bar from the 90's, thats ok, and im sure its a 40 something rocker place on weekend nights. Thats ok too. Came here with a Canadian friend but was turned away when she was told her NEXUS pass or Canadian driver's license weren't a legal form of identification. Yeah, this place isnt for the faintys... great karaoke on the weekends, especially if you like to sing tool, or system of a down, etc. The crowd is all everett, so it gets a little crazy sometimes. Tons of great beer on tap (20 taps i believe, lots of locals) and the food is actually really good, and very reasonably priced. Full bar, witha really good selection of top, top shelf's. 3 pool tables, darts, and a ridiculous array of pulltabs. (one half of the bar is pull tabs..) I love this place. Alot of fun. read more

A solid local pub, but the music volume makes it impossible to enjoy yourself. Really a shame as the service and cocktails are wonderful.

I am sure that this place is absolutely wonderful during the day when the garbage live music and awful, untalented karaoke isnt blaring at levels you can hear from the street, if you don't eat the food. 1) Volume overly loud even by teenagers-starring-in-a-garage-band standards. 2) Staff has zero understanding or empathy for disabled persons conditions EVEN WHEN OUTLINED SPECIFICALLY- AND OFFER NO ACCOMMODATIONS. 3) Food is all prefrozen food services of america/sysco frozen junk, menu could be half the length it is and nothing would be lost. Food quality suffers with an oversized menu for a small establishment. 4) Many, many, many other places far more deserving of your money than this poor attempt at replicating a college town sports bar. Individual staff members should be taken on their own merits, most have no business in the hospitality industry. Went here over the weekend and WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. The two bartenders were EXTREMELY SLOW to serve us even though there were only 6 other patrons. The super skinny one was rude and nazi like and the other one was just a boring droid. Kitchen staff never changed their gloves after touching the freezer door before they made food. Bad vibe all the way around. Drinks are way OVERPRICED too. If I could give negative stars I would!!!! read more

Went in on a Tuesday night with a group of 8. The place was very busy, The parking lot was full and we parked down the street. The classic burgers are half price on Tuesdays which might have been half the draw, but they also had great live music as well (the singer was amazing). I had a Pub burger, and it was huge! 2 patties, bacon, all the extras, a really good burger. Madison is one of our go to places when we want to get out and listen to some Karaoke. You have the good & bad singers at this place but it's always a good time. The drinks are strong and reasonably priced, the food is typical pub fare. Unless you have 4 or more people only get the half over because it will be hard to finish even that. This review doesn't even deserve to be rated 1 star! It was my first time at this so called dumpster pub! The waitress was rude and just threw the coasters down the table as if she didn't care about her job. Then I ordered a Cheese Quesadilla because I'm vegetarian and ended up with a Chicken Quesadilla. The waitress never checked up on us, so I went to the bar to grab her attention and she told me to bring my plate of Chicken Quesadilla to the bar to exchange it for a Cheese Quesadilla. She apologized and went on her way. I was charged for the Chicken Quesadilla instead of the Cheese Quesadilla. I spent over $150 with tip and will never go there ever again! They were short staffed and their parking lot was full, therefore; some people had to park on the side roads on a rainy night. There was no Manager working that night, so it took over a couple weeks to get a hold of the Manager via phone. She apologized and didn't seem to care either. Really??? Here is why you go to the Madison...Trash cans!!! They're these beautiful seahawk colored drinks with a can of redbull upside down in the top. They're delicious and potent and always made to perfection there. The price went up to like $11 bucks but I think they upgraded the size of the glass too. We usually just stop in for that experience and then move on. The bartenders are friendly but I can't say the same about the other patrons. read more

This bar is great to watch any sports event. They also have karaoke every night and amazing live jazz on Wednesdays. They have a full bar, tons of pull tabs and a couple of pool tables. The food is excellent! They have breakfast until two o'clock everyday, half price classic burger Tuesday's and taco Thursday's. Plus daily happy hour specials. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. I'm sure the waitresses play a big part in that. This is by far one of my favorite bars in the area. I'm here visiting from Canada and my friend is visiting from Utah. She, her brother, brother's gf and I went in last night to have a few beers and we were denied service by one of the female bartenders because I have a valid Canadian driver's license. She claimed it was state law that they aren't allowed to serve me without a passport. I know this isn't true, but I showed her my Nexus card anyway, which is ALSO an allowed piece of ID per the state liquor board regulations. So, I provided TWO pieces of allowable ID (I'm 32 years old, btw and we were all sober so it's not like she was just using that as an excuse) and she wouldn't even look at it. "We don't accept that. It's state law." I said "no, it's not state law. I don't travel with a passport BECAUSE I have Nexus" - it's allowable legal ID and you need a passport to even GET Nexus. She was extremely rude, kept repeating it was state law, and when I stood my ground and said no, it's not, she finally said "well it's our policy". I said "oh ok so now it's not state law but your policy?" She said "I don't know what your problem is but we're not accepting it." I said "that's funny because you guys accepted it 6 months ago when I was here last but ok." I also asked for a manager which she refused. So she lost her bar business from the 4 of us plus the friend that was joining us. We went to White Buffalo instead and stayed for a few hours. Don't bother going here unless you want to be talked down to, and/or possibly refused service for a made up reason. read more
