We had just watched a movie at the nearby AMC Fullerton and wanted to grab coffee for the ride to our next destination so we stopped by MADE coffee. Parking: we went on a Saturday afternoon and the parking lots were packed but we were still able to find a space easily. Parking enforcement cars patrol and you may need to purchase a parking pass at one of the parking kiosks, so look around where you park. The coffee shop is right next to Hapa Cupcakes! We almost missed it driving by since theres only a sidewalk sign with pastel colored chairs and tables outside to indicate their location. Theyre super dog friendly and provide dog treats inside as you walk in & have a water bowl available outside for your pets. The "Dogs welcome, people tolerated" sign on the door was my favorite. The shop is pretty small but there are spaces to study if you wanted to have a study sesh here. I saw a few outlets as well. They had some bakery items and a fridge by the counter selling juice and other drinks. The person in the Appa buckethat was super sweet and welcomed us as soon as we walked in. Another person took our order and explained hot drinks are available as either 12 oz or 16 oz and iced drinks are available only as 16 oz. We ordered the honey lavender 16 oz hot latte (half sweet) & an iced vanilla latte (half sweet). It took a few mins and we were were on our way with yummy coffee. Overall, it was a nice experience at a cute coffee shop with great customer service. Will definitely come back! read more

Great coffee shop with greet selections and plenty of seating outside. Glad I came here yesterday to read and study. They have a great selection of drip, espresso and cold brew and hot coffees. I ended up getting a hot regular brew in the morning and a Cold Brew iced in the afternoon. There are 4 tables outside with umbrellas to block the sun. Most of the day it was full with people studying and reading. There's also a few benches right out front. HUGE PLUS: They have a bathroom for their customers to use. I hate how some coffee shops are open for outdoor seating but they don't let you use the restroom. How stupid is that. So I'm gonna sit for 5-6 hours and drink 2 full cups of coffee and drink water and hold my piss the entire time. I must have used their restroom like 7 times. That's why I came here. No point in having seating if there are no restrooms to use. The workers here are also super cool and friendly. Will definitely be back! read more

I went to made coffee yesterday, because I wanted to try a new place. I was the only one in line and I still waited 5 mins to get my order taken. Most of the employees were on their phone or talking. When I eventually got my order taken the guy seemed annoyed taking my order. My drink was extremely bitter and when I asked them to remake it, they mentioned it was my fault for not getting extra sweetener but I was unaware that was an option. They took a long time to get me a new one since they forgot because other people came in. I had to remind them. This experience was less then pleasant and ill definitely not be returning. read more

Felt like going out and about on this peaceful, slow Sunday, so decided to do a few mile walking trek to the Downtown Fullerton area. As I was meandering down Amerige Ave., I discovered this quaint, happening cafe right next to Hapa Cupcakes. I immediately took a liking to the ambiance and style of the store. Decor - 5/5 - The store has a very pleasant, chill vibe about it. On the speakers, relaxing chillbeats play while the soothing noises of friendly baristas preparing coffee orders bustles in the background. The store is themed by by bright, happy yellows, whites, and black colored decor. The far wall is composed of white hexagon tiles with the "Made" cafe name spelled out with gray hexagons (I don't know if they mean to, but I got a beehive kind of imagery haha). Beautiful and intriguing local artist artwork decorate the side walls and there are green plants placed around the shop to give it a more vibrant feel. You can enjoy a cup of coffee and enjoy the views of the world passing by outside the windowed front. Food & Drink: Waffled Croissant ($3.50) - 3.5/5 - A warmed up waffle with the flaky and buttery characteristics one gets with a croissant. Simple and straightforward bakery item, but it has good flavor and soft texture (which goes nicely with your drink order). I will admit it was hard to dig into with the plastic knife and fork (felt like I was sawing at it forever to get a piece off). Iced coconut latte ($4.85) - 5/5 - Wow! They serve up a fantastic cup of coffee! The coffee is so silky smooth to the taste buds. I love that they hit the right balance between the flavors - the presence of the coffee flavors are equally present and balanced with the splash of sweet coconut and milk. I think I found my new favorite spot in the downtown area to spend my weekend afternoons at! :) read more

Coffee here is a 5/5! Would definitely come back to get the honey oat latte again or the maple latte. I got a honey oat latte with maple foam on top and it tasted BOMB. Coffee wasn't bitter and the whole shop smells like coffee, which i love. The strawberry latte is on the right and it was also good! It was more of a Nesquik artificial strawberry flavor so if you're a fan of that then you'll love this. I stopped at the cupcake store right next door and saw the line that was out onto the sidewalk and figured they must be good. I of course gave them a try and was not disappointed at all. I looked over the menu and decided to try the dirty horchata. Now, let me preface with the fact that normally I am not a horchata fan; however, this dirty variety was so good. The coffee helped balance out the sweetness of what is normally horchata and calmed the cinnamon in the horchata (which is why I am not a fan of it...I don't really like cinnamon). They have some delicious looking pastries as well, although I didn't snap a pic of those. The inside of the shop is large enough that you don't feel close to the next person while waiting on your drink. I would like to visit again soon. read more

Their menu contains good specialty drinks (that I would defenitely come back next time on) and a wide range of options to choose from, in terms of milk alternatives and sugar-free options. I adore MADE--I'm a Fullerton local and have been here many times, whether it be to get coffee and catch up with friends or finish up university work. This was my first time visiting made coffee and I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk and an iced Spanish latte with oat milk. The barista taking my order was super friendly and answered my questions about the drinks. The line was barely out the door, but moved pretty quickly. The cafe itself is conveniently located next to a parking lot and had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They also have cute merch leading up to the register and I think it's fairly priced. They also have an online ordering system where you can skip the line and pick up your drink, which I will definitely be using in the future. Cute little coffee shop in downtown Fullerton! I came on a Sunday early afternoon and it was packed with students studying. There's minimal outdoor seating as well, but it can be a little loud with the street noise. I got the Spanish latte with oat milk, which was really balanced. Not too sweet, not too milky, not too cinnamon-y. My partner got the iced matcha latte with lavender and soy milk and it tasted like fruity pebbles. I totally recommend trying these two drinks out. I've frequented MADE several times and they are on top of it with the consistency. My favorite would have to be their spanish latte. It never misses. PSA: their drinks are on the sweeter side, so I'd recommend asking for less sweet. The staff are always friendly and quick with the drinks. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for mine.
