The home fries were tasty, not deep fried, and done perfectly - not too mushy. Super plentiful so of course we took the remainder home. Wayne had a sausage and cheese omelette, sausage was ground so it blended nicely and the flavor was great - same deal with the potatoes. He opted for the biscuit, I went for wheat toast. All basic, but more! Service was quick; and you can tell the place caters to and/or is supported by locals. Love that!

They were also small and soggy.. something you could get from the frozen aisle at the grocery store. The house salad with iceberg lettuce was $7.50. I had a drink while I waited for my to go order and it was $10 with flat Pepsi. The steak in my sandwich wasn't seasoned and the extra cheese for an extra dollar was missing. The condiment for the sandwich was mayo and there was very little onion. I gave my review a 2 because the hush puppies were delicious and the ranch is made in house. The server was also very sweet. But I won't go back for a poorly seasoned dinner for 2 that costs almost $100.

Not sure if they were just having an off day or they thought we weren't gonna spend any $ there due to us having dogs/ not being dressed up at all but if it wasn't for the food/drinks/ aesthetics and we think was one of the managers coming to say hi to us I would have probably left less stars. - SpicyAivy

The wines are excellent and there are several tasting options you can choose- I believe there was a red flight, a white flight, and a "signature" option that had both. You also have the option to build your own flight, which I always love. The 2024 rosé is a standout, we picked up several bottles to bring home. We could not believe how good the food was- it was worth a trip in its own right! It's on the pricier side but it is clear why, the plates wouldn't be out of place at a fine dining restaurant. We also had the kindest server, Chelsie, who made our experience so special and memorable! She stopped by to chat several times, gave us great recommendations, and she could not have been nicer to me and my friends. We were lucky enough to attend our dear friends' wedding here and it was a spectacular wedding venue. The space is just beautiful and the catering was incredible- some of the best wedding food we've had by far. Serving American classics with high quality and great hospitality…read more Sandwiched between two floors of antique malls, Jack's was the perfect stop in the day to get some no-frills nourishment. Their breakfast is incredibly generous and made with ingredients that were fresh, clean, and meticulous in detail. The design of their menu is just so promising with unique twists that are not unheard of, but just an elevated touch when it comes to American diner food as a whole. Things like truffle infused hollandaise, fried green tomato BLT, pairing balsamic with goat cheese, a blackened pork, even mushrooms on the breakfast menu all hint that people developing their menu are confident in their skills in offering something more when it comes to breakfast plates and sandwiches. Their homemade aiolis (highly recommend their pesto aioli) and hot sauce tie any dish together-- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Things made to this quality are not to be unremarked. Came in with friends so we can try everything on their menu, and we were pleasantly surprised on all fronts. Presentation, ingredients, preparation all elements that made our meals great and were evident across all dishes ranging from protein to carb. Details like toasted bread with already spread with butter, perfectly poached eggs, and brioche as the bun of choice were things we peeped. We would have left satisfied if these details weren't accounted for, but we were so impressed this became a revisit during our short vacation. Their space is greatly spacious, with an open drinks station so its just not pretentious. There is even a section in the front to pick up goods made by local artisans. This is a great place to dine in, no notes.

Service was friendly and excellent. Menu is so tough because there were so many amazing looking options for lunch. They even have rotating daily lunch specials. The theme is New Orleans style cooking and from what I heard about the family, it's legit... From what I tasted, it's most definitely amazing!! I loved the spice and overall flavors in my food. Starting with their BBQ shrimp - this is a large appetizer that was so tasty! The shrimp was perfectly cooked and very fresh. The buttery BBQ sauté was spiced and herbed up perfectly too. It comes with plenty of toast points to dip and sop up that sauce too!! My main dish was their Alpha Girl Po Boy - WOW!!! This was INCREDIBLE! All ingredients were perfectly fresh and perfectly seasoned! The entire sandwich came together amazingly well and was so darn tasty! I even like that they hollowed out a portion of the crown of the baguette to let all that amazing stuffing fit inside without falling out and being a mess. And their homemade, freshly cooked potato chips were incredibly tasty too! I can't wait to return and most definitely will... Highly recommend stopping in!

Apparently, currently the only day of the week they offer Brunch is on Sundays. I showed up about 11:00 am. The place was full of diners - so instead of waiting for a table, I sat at the bar. It's not a large bar - I'd say it seats approximately 9-10 people. I ordered the Boudin balls - which come with a tasty dipping sauce called "Swamp Mustard." I also ordered the Cajun Omelette - which is stuffed with "smushed Boudin balls." Comes with a side of rather unexciting breakfast potatoes. The Boudin balls were tasty - and had a nice crispy texture. The Swamp Mustard is really good with the balls. The Cajun Omelette was rather ho-hum - I was expecting and hoping for something with more complexity and heat. The smushed Boudin balls were rather bland. The Omelette was cooked properly. The breakfast potatoes were unseasoned. I'd like to try out some other menu items - I'm hoping for something that will Wow me. Paid with Apple Pay. #NewIberiaKitchen

The staff was welcoming, seated us immediately, and made us feel comfortable from the start. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and the cocktails were well made. The food was the real highlight. The burgers were cooked perfectly, the beef tasted fresh and flavorful, and the garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. We also really enjoyed the soup of the day and the hummus of the day. The only thing that didn't completely wow us was the steak. It certainly wasn't bad but we just happen to be very particular when it comes to steak. Overall, this was an excellent meal with great service in a welcoming atmosphere.
