    Pad Thai
    Michael S.

Better Pad Thai than Thai Me Up. The portions on all their dishes are good for the price. Quality and taste itself is good too but not go out of your way good if you don't live in South Side. Their pork boa buns are too much dough and maybe a table spoon of filling, Takoyaki not much flavor going on It depends what they're feeling for their 1-5 spice level because sometimes a 2 has been spicier than a 4 for me Inside is a tad nicer sit down vibe. Very Asian Americanized vibe going on Waiters were always nice and when we would go slam sake their they always had a blast

    Hibachi Fried Rice

I got Mad Noodles for takeout recently after wanting to try their food for quite a while. I ordered the vegetarian steamed dumplings and hibachi fried rice w/tofu. I had a bit of a hard time ordering non-meat options from the online menu since a lot of the items didn't have descriptions, but it ended up working out fine. Both the dumplings and rice with tofu were big portions and tasted great. The dumplings came with a special sauce, but I ended up eating them with soy sauce instead. The rice and tofu had a nice, unique flavor unlike other fried rice and tofu I've had. Would definitely eat here again!

I think the rating is too low for this place! I actually quite enjoyed some of the food I had from here. The menu is super broad and has a ton of variety. I tried the pork buns and pad Thai. Seeing the name, you may think their specialty is noodles. I don't think so! They should really be renamed to Mad Bao or something because their pro buns and dumplings are what actually stood out. The bun was so fluffy and had the perfect amount of casing to meat. The meat was well cooked, tender, seasoned well, and just all around delicious. Perfect crisp on the outside. And, a pretty nice savory sauce too, but that wasn't anything crazy. I would really recommend trying one of their dumplings. The pad Thai was not as good. It was a big portion, yes, but quality wasn't the best, and it was a tad expensive. It had a strange sugary sauce, almost like sweet n sour noodles. I just wasn't the biggest fan of this pad Thai. All in all, I quite enjoyed this spot. If you come here, you definitely need to try the buns or dumplings!

Absolutely terrible. Ordered chicken in my Pad Thai. Literally 3 tiny pieces in the whole thing. What a waste!

Ordered from Uber Delivery: Mr Wangs fried dumplings Pork and cabbage dumplings Beef lo mein BOGO California roll Food was very tasty. You can see in the pictures the dumplings are hand folded Noodles in lo mein and dumplings dough was the perfect chewy texture you want your noodles to taste from Chinese food I would definitely recommend these guys!

    What the pho!

If you wanna be mad come here. Worst customer service, worst pho. I was here for ten minutes 8 mins waiting for my food, 2 minutes telling the customer service if they can add meat in my pho cause it literally taste nothing. The waiter was rude just, grabbed my spoon without consent to show me the tripes in the bowl. I know what tripes looks like Im just asking if they can add more meat, he didnt have to touch my food. That is just plain rude. I still paid 16 bucks for this pho that I didnt even eat. Do your self a favor. Do not come here

    Veggie dumplings

Love this place! I have ordered from here on two occasions now and both times the food was incredible. The veggie dumpling appetizer was so good. Sometimes dumplings can be too doughy, but theirs are just right. My main dish I order is the general tsos tofu. I order it extra crispy. A lot of places struggle with my tofu, but they know how to do it here. It is just as crispy as a piece of fried chicken and really holds the sauce. The sauce is a perfect combo of sweet and spicy!

We came here on recommendation of one in our party who'd been here multiple times. Good choice. Service might be average but the food was great. Portions big with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Salmon poke bowl, vegetarian poke bowl, Korean japcheau noodles, pork bu, and crab rangoons were all splendid. We were stuffed and our tastebuds tickling!

    General tsos shrimp

The food was reasonably priced and gave you a good sized portion. The food was also very fresh and clean. We got: Singapore noodles, salmon and tuna sushi, general tsos shrimp, and broccoli and shrimp. The only thing is that the food was kind of bland (something we all thought). It basically just need a tiny bit of salt or seasoning. The broccoli was made very nicely though. Just a heads up the entrance to their place is a little be slippery so be careful!

It was okay. Nothing special or that I would get again. The fresh spring rolls were super disappointing like what is this!? It looks like a bag of lettuce and I couldn't even pick it up to eat it. Not a fan

Food was fine, boba was good. Girlfriend's sushi was clearly frozen, tofu over cooked, "spicy" was not spicy.

The food is always so good, hot, and fresh even though I live about 20 minutes away. When you order any noodle soups, the staff will package the noodles, broth, and toppings all separately so nothing gets soggy. I have ordered the tan tan seafood ramen the last few times we've ordered from here, and I will probably order it again next time because it is so so good. The broth has a perfect spice to it an the creaminess helps balance that. I can't place an order without their takoyaki either. They're super generous with the benito flakes, which I love. This place is always a hit and definitely one of my most ordered delivery spots.

This restaurant is located right on McKnight Road somewhat near the intersection with Siebert. The inside is fairly large with seating in an L-shaped configuration around the kitchen. We were seated near the back on one side where the lighting was styled like lanterns and there was also a fun mural on the wall in an almost manga style. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the Golden Katsu Curry Ramen while my wife went with the tonkotsu ramen and my kids split a happy cat noodles. My ramen was described as served with house-made curry broth simmered with tender potato and carrot chunks, wavy noodles and topped with a crispy cutlet, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My wife's was described as pork broth with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, nori, bamboo shoots, fish cake, kikurage mushroom, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My kids' meal was described as chicken nuggets, soy sauce-based plain noodles, assorted vegetables, half marinated egg and one piece of mochi ice cream. They first brought out the wrong item for my kids but once we mentioned it they quickly corrected it and brought out the right dish. My curry ended up being really good. The chicken cutlet was crispy, the noodles were bouncy and I enjoyed the sweetness from the corn. The star of the show for me though was the Japanese curry which had a rich flavor with warm and inviting spices. My wife loved her ramen as well and we were all impressed with the quality of the kids' meal, especially the chicken and the flavor of the noodles. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food and we appreciated that it felt both fun and family friendly.

Service. It was very slow at first and we weren't really paid attention to until the other table left. People were coming in and it seemed more attentive to them but for us, it was like a mix at first. When we did finally order, service was way better. It was kinda weird. Food - I ordered the vegetable ramen (rice noodles) and the broth is out of this world. It has a really nice garlic flavor, very delicious that made me want more and I never had a garlic based broth before. The tofu was fresh and everything else tasted lovely. The other ramen was the tan tan. I didn't really care for the broth compared to mine but it wasn't my dish originally. We also ordered the takoyaki, two of them because it was so good! We had a side of seaweed salad which was fresh and good as well. Besides the service being kinda slow when it was almost empty, it was a lovely visit. The place also felt clean and the restroom as well.
