Don't be fooled by the name, this place serves chinese food. Crispy chicken isn't the crispiest, beef in the beef noodle soup is kinda cartilagey, green beans are slightly less fried than other places but if that is what you are looking for then that is great for you! We enjoyed our meal, clean interior, there is a fish tank for the genuinity, and service was nice!

The pork buns were so good. Loved them!

We've been to Ramen King 2 several times and every time it's excellent. Everyone who works there is the most wonderful person. They did such a great job with the space. It's really nice. Now, let's talk about the food. It's absolutely fantastic. We love everything that is dumpling or noodle related. We love the soup dumplings, pork fried potstickers and the pork buns. The stir fried chicken or shrimp puled standard noodles are my favorite dish. They're so delicious due to the seasonings used. I tried the beef tonight but it wasn't my favorite. Also love the crispy tempura shrimp appetizer that tasted just Like the ones we had in Nishiki Market in Japan. My husband also loves the pork ramen. Do yourself a favor and go here immediately. It's fantastic.

I had the Chicken Noodle Soup with the hand-pulled noodles. I am on Day 3 of eating it-- An unbelievable value as the portion is astronomically large. The flavors are absolutely outstanding. I came here for takeout but the inside was beautifully decorated. I am very excited to come here again & explore the menu. A great addition to the North Hills!

Tasty! Perfectly cooked rice and nice flavor. Though the service was a bit strange the staff were kind nonetheless. Everything i tried was pretty solid and I love the way this place is decorated. I would absolutely recommend coming here if you're craving sushi and in the area, it's a very fun place to be.

3.5 stars. Ramen King 2 is a local restaurant that serves ramens and also appetizers (e.g., edamame, bao buns, and spring rolls), stir-fried noodles, fried rices, sushi rolls, poke bowls, a few desserts, non-alcoholic beverages, etcetera. Please see my attached photos for the menu in April 2025. My husband and I ate one dinner here. The employees promptly and politely served us. The interior design was very stylish. I ate the crab rangoon, shrimp noodle soup, salmon-avocado sushi, and sesame balls, and I thought that everything tasted good. My husband ate the pan-fried pork buns and the beef stir-fried noodles, and he said that they were very oily. He ate only the top noodles because the bottom noodles were sitting in a puddle of oil. He said that he does not want to return to this restaurant.

This was our 1st time to this newer restaurant in the North Hills. Wow! Fresh ingredients- hand pulled noodles - staff was so helpful to our group of 8 - who had never been. Decor is clean & pretty. This will definitely become a favorite to revisit.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the name of this place is a little deceptive, but it's still worth a visit. While there is no ramen, there are a wide range of mostly Chinese dishes along with sushi, and the menu is wide-ranging so there is something for everyone. My review of what we ordered: Shrimp tempura - more heavily breaded than tempura I've had in the best, but I enjoyed how crisp it was and the sweet chili sauce on the side was the perfect compliment. Portion was generous too. Inexplicably served with sweet potato fries. Scallion pancake - this is a staple order for me when I go to Asian restaurants and this one eas pretty good, light and crispy! However it wasn't served with any dipping sauce, which we had to request. We ate it with the ginger sauce that goes along with the dumplings and that was yummy. Xiao long bao - decent soup dumplings! I'm used to this being served with a spoon so you can open the dumpling and let it cool while getting to slurp the broth and sauce. No spoon here but I enjoyed eating them. My husband also got the pork noodle soup which he said was okay but probably wouldn't order again. The decor is pretty modern though overall I would say this is definitely more of a casual restaurant. My favorite part was the TV showing Shaq (??) pulling noodles, felt like a fever dream. Service was friendly and helpful and prices were very fair.

Automatic 3 stars for not taking American Express. Menu is informative. Obviously a lot of time was spent creating an intimate atmosphere for couples and groups. The vegetable rolls were crisp. The dipping sauce was overly sweet. The shrimp poke bowl was a mixture of shrimp, crab salad, seaweed salad, edamame, corn & spring greens. The ramen noodles were hand cut. The noodles & bok choy were separated from the broth with shrimp. The broth had a lot of ginger. Ample parking.

HOLY COW this food is delicious! I've been meaning to try it for about a year now, and thank goodness I finally did! It's very true that it looks so much nicer inside than one might ever expect from looking at the outside. It's a bright, modern, comfortable dining room with plenty of seating. There are cute murals on the walls, as well as a window that shows the chefs hand-pulling the noodles in real time. Service was super friendly and fast! My husband and I split the Spicy Pork Hand Pulled Noodles (not a soup, but listed under Noodle Soups!) and the Stir-Fried String Beans, as well as the Pan-Fried Pork Buns. Everything was SO fresh, spicy, and delicious! The noodles were saucy and perfectly chewy, and the string beans packed a nice numbing punch with their warm spices. The pork buns were very large and perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining soft and juicy inside. As a note, this is not traditional ramen in the colloquial sense, but the food and noodles in particular are excellent. Just come in with level-set expectations and you'll be a happy camper! I cannot wait to return!

Ramen was highly recommended to me and in no way disappointed. The handmade noodles, the delicious soups, and the amazing Bao all led to a wonderful meal. There are lots of options for vegetarians. The soups are very filling, especially because of the noodles. Everything was authentic Chinese. The menu had lots of great choices, especially appetizers and soups. I would definitely go again. The service was excellent and everyone there was warm and welcoming. There is plenty of free parking. Restrooms were neat and clean.

Good service. Food was tasty. My friend got the chicken and said it was a little too sweet.

The food here is so good! My neighbor heard about this place from a friend and we stopped by on a whim. The place is clean, and service is quick. The staff was super helpful with their recommendations and explaining the difference between knife cut noodles and hand pulled noodles. I got the knife cut noodles in my chicken stir fry per their recommendation and it was great! The knife cut noodles are thicker than the hand cut noodles. My neighbor got the hand cut noodles in the spicy chicken Ramen. It was also super flavorful (and not ridiculously spicy). The food was more than enough for 2 servings each and still tasted great reheated in a pan. I will be back again!

This is the real deal! We saw and tasted items that were made with recipes older than you can imagine! We had to wait about 5 minutes for a table on Saturday but didn't mind because we got to see a lot of different items come out of the kitchen. We had dumplings to split for an appetizer. I had two sushi rolls and my husband had ramen. We would love to go back and try some other items. I liked my sushi but was not in love with it. So many other items looked wonderful that I would like to try

This restaurant is located right on McKnight Road somewhat near the intersection with Siebert. The inside is fairly large with seating in an L-shaped configuration around the kitchen. We were seated near the back on one side where the lighting was styled like lanterns and there was also a fun mural on the wall in an almost manga style. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with the Golden Katsu Curry Ramen while my wife went with the tonkotsu ramen and my kids split a happy cat noodles. My ramen was described as served with house-made curry broth simmered with tender potato and carrot chunks, wavy noodles and topped with a crispy cutlet, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My wife's was described as pork broth with thin noodles, pork belly chashu, nori, bamboo shoots, fish cake, kikurage mushroom, half marinated egg, sweet corn and scallions. My kids' meal was described as chicken nuggets, soy sauce-based plain noodles, assorted vegetables, half marinated egg and one piece of mochi ice cream. They first brought out the wrong item for my kids but once we mentioned it they quickly corrected it and brought out the right dish. My curry ended up being really good. The chicken cutlet was crispy, the noodles were bouncy and I enjoyed the sweetness from the corn. The star of the show for me though was the Japanese curry which had a rich flavor with warm and inviting spices. My wife loved her ramen as well and we were all impressed with the quality of the kids' meal, especially the chicken and the flavor of the noodles. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in my family enjoyed their food and we appreciated that it felt both fun and family friendly.

I always wanted to try this place but I will warn you about to things:…read more 1. Parking is can become limited and pulling out on McKnight road is challenging as you're waiting for a while. 2. Service. It was very slow at first and we weren't really paid attention to until the other table left. People were coming in and it seemed more attentive to them but for us, it was like a mix at first. When we did finally order, service was way better. It was kinda weird. Food - I ordered the vegetable ramen (rice noodles) and the broth is out of this world. It has a really nice garlic flavor, very delicious that made me want more and I never had a garlic based broth before. The tofu was fresh and everything else tasted lovely. The other ramen was the tan tan. I didn't really care for the broth compared to mine but it wasn't my dish originally. We also ordered the takoyaki, two of them because it was so good! We had a side of seaweed salad which was fresh and good as well. Besides the service being kinda slow when it was almost empty, it was a lovely visit. The place also felt clean and the restroom as well.
