A lot of ice cream flavors! The ice cream is great! Prices are high but expected due to the island. Wish the portions were bigger
Always hunting for the best ice cream in the cape. This definitely is one of the better and more popular spots on Martha's Vineyard, easy to find and access - multiple flavors and samples allowed before you choose which is a plus!
They have so many different flavors to choose from with cup or cone options. They also sell candy and clothes. Cute shop and we had the small for one scoop for $7 each, maple walnut and caption crunch. Great customer service and very friendly
We ordered the waffle cone with maple walnut and butter crunch ice cream. The waffle cone was not super fresh or warm or anything was it was served, but it was good and big. The maple walnut and butter crunch ice cream were also solid. The maple walnut was good and had the right flavors though I think the butter crunch was better than the maple walnut, which was a little plain in comparison. Overall, the ice cream here is pretty good.
In a town positively stacked with ice cream shops, this one was our favorite. Good flavor selection, good service and great ice cream. Bonus points for offering affogato on the menu!
Great ice cream shop. Definitely an iconic place on the island. Great flavors as well. Was pretty crowded with a long line on a week night but the service was quick. I go here every time I visit the island.
Went here on Monday July 15th 2024, as part of our visit to Martha's Vineyard to walk the streets that chief brody walked on. This was a pit stop because it was hot, and we wanted ice cream. They have plenty of flavors, and can make shakes, and smoothies too. They also had seating where we sat and enjoyed our ice cream. Service was very good as they scooped our ice creams. I got the cookie dough small in a cup, my dad got chocolate in a cup, and my mom got mint chocolate chip in a cone. Paid via credit card. We all enjoyed our refreshing ice cream.
It was fine. Exactly what you would expect. If you want one scoop, no you cannot get a half scoop of two flavors. One note - if you have a food allergy, I would highly suggest asking the ingredients. I got the pistachio and it very much had almond extract in it, so be mindful if you have an allergy.
not to be dramatic or anything but this ice cream was totally life changing. the vibes r off the mfing charts, the workers r all young n peppy and super happy to answer any questions u have. But if u have a question of "hmm what flavor should I order?" I can get that one for u: the BLUEBERRY is hands down the BEST blueberry ice cream I've ever had, taken from someone who religiously orders that flavor. I swear on everything that I've had multiple dreams about their blueberry ice cream and all of its deliciousness. Just waiting for the day they offer shipping bc I would stockpile this stuff in an instant
The hotel guy recommended this ice cream place to us. There's 3 ice cream places all close by but the place right by the water gets more customers. They do a good job at keeping a certain amount of customers inside. You can pay with Apple Pay so that was easy. The ice cream was good. The Oreo one was good. My son loved the Mint Oreo one. Chocolate was good but my daughter said it was a bit nutty. This is the better ice cream place in the area. We prefer this one over the others.
Mad Martha's is very good icecream don't get me wrong. It is extremely overpriced though, a small being 7 dollars. They have a good variety of flavors. Sometimes there is a long line but moves pretty quickly. Good for when your craving something sweet. Cant go wrong. Not a cheap spot though.
My favorite ice cream place in Edgartown! The flavors really pop! I had a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of blueberry and they were awesome! I also enjoyed a latte. Friendly service and fun atmosphere. Colorful decor, spacious interior, nice seating, and clean bathroom. read more
Mad Martha's is a really solid ice cream place with some classic flavors and exciting specialty flavors. I loved the Shark Attack and especially the Catboat Crunch, a delicious chocolatey toffee ice cream that I will be thinking about for a while! Good size portions but still felt a little overproduced. Overall, if you're looking for a sweet treat this place won't disappoint. read more

This shop is very cute :) It is a little pricey, but considering it's a homemade ice-cram shop it's more worth it. Good variety of flavors and good (but not astonishing) ice cream. The waffle cone was the best part because of it's crunch level. The cashier gave us samples and brought charm/rizz, haha. Overall, pleasurable stop read more
I do prefer mad Martha's to the other options on the island but not for waffle cones. Waffle cones go to scoops. Try the pigs delight if you are brave or have ten people to assist in eating ten scoops plus toppings. Order by saying "oink". This place takes credit cards. read more

If you are looking for delicious, freshly made on-site, amazing ice cream dished up by friendly staff, look no further! Wide variety of flavors - 32 to be exact and a host of ice cream shakes and sundaes. This is an absolute must! We are looking forward to returning on our next trip! I don't get why everyone loves this place so much. For days all I heard that I must go and try Mad Martha's ice cream. Ok. I went and I tried the rasberry ice cream and it was just ok. The rasberries were frozen frozen I tell you! expensive for one scoop $5. The other night I bought at the grocery store raspberry ice cream and I thought it was as good if not better. However I was very fascinated with the gigantic jar of gigantic pickles that they had at the deli/sandwich shop. read more

Countless flavors of ice cream in the heart of Edgartown. They have sugar and waffle cones options. Plenty of seating inside to sit and enjoy the decor. They have the option of an ice cream cookie sandwich with a flavor of your choice. Friendly staff. Note - it's cash only! read more

Amazing ice cream! They have a great variety of flavors and are very kind and helpful. I got a regular cup with snickers ice cream and apple fritter ice cream which was a weekly special. The apple fritter was delicious and made using back door donuts apple fritter. read more

I had the mud pie and it was amazing! I had it in a cup with a cone on top and kind of wish I got it in a cone to begin with. They do have COVID restrictions in place and I would go back to try the maple walnut as I heard great things about it. read more
