Fantastic ice cream! Possibly the best I have ever had. There was a pretty long line when we stopped here yesterday, despite it only being 60 degrees out but it was sunny and the cream really hit the spot. I definitely understand the hype with The Juice Bar. I got the Cookie Sandwich, which is their fresh chocolate chip cookie with your choice of ice cream--I went with vanilla. I will say, though, it was disgustingly expensive. The sandwich was around $15, which I could maybe justify if they used two cookies and made it like a traditional ice cream sandwich. Instead, it was just one cookie folded over with the ice cream inside. That being said, the ice cream was VERY good, and the cookie was also insanely delicious. So while I definitely think it's worth trying when you're on the island, they seriously need to rethink some of these prices because $15 for one folded cookie is pretty crazy. read more

This venerable seaside staple has been on island since I used to visit as a child, and is still going strong today. The rustic and quaint charm of the Juice Bar is half the fun. The line sometimes stretches around the block on busy evenings, but it's generally an enjoyable time, and always fun to make new friends. I have found that in visits during the fall, the line is much shorter. There are plenty of options to choose from- pressed juices (of course, it's right there on the tin), ice cream, and a few creative concoctions. My personal favorite is the Watermelon Freeze, made with fresh watermelon juice and frozen yogurt. So good and so refreshing, served in a white cup with a picture perfect red and white striped straw. The Crantucket ice cream (real cranberry pieces inside) also receives high marks from our crew. Very popular spot in downtown for ice cream. Pretty much everyone knows that juice bar is the place for dessert. I was able to go when there was no line right after lunch. I got a waffle cone with strawberry and cookies n cream. Asked for a cup since I knew the ice cream would immediately melt right as I stepped outside. The worker knew exactly what I meant when I asked for a cup. He gave me spoons as well. There is really no room for anyone to stay inside to enjoy their dessert. It is quite lively and bustling. They are a busy business and try to keep the customers go in and out efficiently. It isn't the best ice cream, but a nice spot for dessert. Not a must have if the line stretches out and curves around the block. When you walk around, you see everyone with either a cup or cone from The Juice Bar. Visited this place twice in a week while on vacation. I had heard a lot of good things about it so we had to check it out. They make everything from ice cream to waffle cones and you must try their waffle cone (I liked it in the cup). The three flavors I got were: -The Carl (chocolate ice cream w/ marshmallow and chocolate chips) -Crantucket -Caramel Biscoff Swirl I could have done without the cranberries, but I had wanted to try something unique. The Carl was awesome, as it had some toppings mixed in for various flavor mashup. The Caramel Biscoff Swirl was their special flavor, it was vanilla ice cream with caramel swirl, white chocolate chips and Biscoff cookie bites and recommended by the staff. It was good.
