Came with an english muffin. Good meal, I brought home half the steak and an egg. $16 Bloody Mary was good as well, $8. Drink within 15 mins before it starts to water down :) Mom had the Bourbon glazed salon, with spinach as her side. The mashed potatoes were cold. She LOVEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD the spinach. Didn't care for the glaze too much (she suggest to get this on the side next time), but she liked the salmon as well Parking lot, but it was hard to tell where exactly to park and there are no lines. On Saturday, we received the brunch menu including a regular menu. Restaurant felt good inside, considering it's hot outside. Nice morning with my Mom (Heart!!)

I ordered the Snapping Turtle soup, just to try something different. It was just ok, but I would not get it again. There were three pieces of hard shell in my soup, and the strong flavoring masked any taste of the meat. I also ordered the grilled chicken cobb salad, which was fine but not memorable. Others in our party had steak & frites, a steak salad, and a wedge salad--all ok to good. The shared crab dip appetizer was the best part, that and the chocolate brownie sundae dessert.

That said, I do think it's a bit overpriced, and the additional "employee tax" feels a little tacky. Customers shouldn't be covering staff wages. We asked to be moved to the dining room. Staff was extremely rude and stuck us in the back in the dining room by ourselves and ignored us until we asked to be served. For $155 per person, we expected a much higher level of quality and service. The service throughout the meal was extremely slow, the food was mediocre at best, and the brunch setup felt confusing and underwhelming. There was a buffet for salads and sides, but then guests still had to select an entrée from a dinner-style menu in the middle of the day. The dessert buffet was nearly empty by the time we got there, and we ended up being served parfaits instead. They didn't even provide parfait spoons, and we had to ask for a knife just to scrape the bottom of the glass. The property itself is beautiful, but unfortunately the dining experience did not come close to justifying the price. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially for a special occasion like Mother's Day.

We ordered a latte with oat milk and an iced coffee, and both were just 'okay' - it could have been more strong, and the latte was asked to be 'extra hot', which came out room temperature. Staff could be a bit more friendlier; also, the drinks just take way too long to prepare, even with 3+ staff on shift. There's a good amount of seating, but the surfaces and the furniture needs to be wiped down. I recommend in avoiding using the restroom. Unfortunately, we were so excited I forgot to take pictures of the food, but it was really good. I got avocado toast which was decent and my husband got the smoked bbq pulled chicken sandwich. My husband loved his. While everything was great, we felt a little mislead from the name. The coffee menu was literally just a sign that said specialty drinks and then it looked like a bar more than a coffee shop. Despite that, we loved it and would happily stop here again. I also asked where the baked goods were from because they looked unique. They were sourced locally from a girl that worked at the restaurant across the street. Definitely stop on here for a local gem.
