What an awesome find in Owasso - and worth the super short drive from Tulsa to check this place out! We arrived around 10:30am on a Saturday for brunch and were pleasantly surprised we did not to wait to get a table for two - that being said, the restaurant quickly filled up, so plan to wait if you're dining on the weekend after 11:00am. The food was really good as was the service. The sweet treats were an absolute stand out - particularly the Fruit Loop Cheesecake. 10/10 would recommend trying this or one of the mega shakes they have. I had the special flavor of the day/week which was like an Apple Pie Cinnamon and enjoyed it. The homemade cream soda wasn't as potent as I thought it would be, so probably wouldn't try that again. Also heard the menu recently changed, so I'm sad I missed the stuffed French toast other Yelpers spoke highly of - but definitely coming back next time I'm in the area. read more

This is a very interesting, good place. Their deserts are crazy. I will have to go back and just get dessert, because they are ridiculously huge. We were in town from California and local family suggested we try Mad Eats. Our party of 11 was accommodated quickly and both food and service were great. The manager, Jordan, made it a point to check in with us and make recommendations (which were all great!). We drove from south Tulsa to Owasso for specialized car repair. We had past this eatery so I looked it up, the menu was unusual, we were NOT disappointed. My husband had French toast and I had the pancake tacos. It was all delicious, the wait staff was very very accommodating. We wanted desert but were stuffed. We purchase a piece of coconut pie to go. Mad Eats was so good! I had the breakfast pacos (tacos but breakfast style and pancakes as the shell)! It was so tasty and there was plenty of food. My boyfriend got the monte cristo which was also very good! The cherry on top was the coffee flavored mad eats shake. Can you say Yum!!! It was my first time in today! I came with my best friend who loves to try new places with me. Not only did we have exceptional service, the food was AMAZING!!! The manager made a point to walk around all the tables and make sure his clients were well taken care of. Oh MAD Eats I wanted to love you so hard! It's rare that you find a restaurant that goes out of its way to be unique and create a menu that sounds amazing. The issue is in the execution of the dishes. The restaurant has a great look. Kind of a modern throwback diner meets an industrial feel. At the front of the restaurant my eyes locked for several moments with giant good looking pies in a pie case. Tall booths and interesting imagery make a great first impression. Service was okay. Our server was new and he was trying hard. Given time he should be really good. First we had shrimp corn dogs. The concept is awesome and the taste was good. The chili sauce should be replaced with a homemade spicy cocktail sauce but wasn't bad. The issue was the shrimp fused to the "corndog" stick making every bite a struggle to get a piece of shrimp. Making these shrimp corn dog bites seems like an easy fix. We then had the brisket Totines. The flavors were good brisket, tater tots, Cotija cheese, picket onions, lime crema. But there needed to be a sauce that bound everything together. Maybe just more lime crema. This was the best item we had. Next the stuffed French toast. Again all the ingredients sound good but unfortunately the flavors didn't come together in a good way. The raspberry chipotle, maple, lime cream cheese, and savory ham were all having an title match in my mouth. Maple Bacon Bonuts seemed like a safe bet. The Biscuit donuts weren't soft like you want. They were dense, hard, and coated with cinnamon, sugar, and maple flavors and topped with bacon. The taste just seems too sugary, the consistency too hard, and maybe it was cinnamon and maple flavors conflicting with each other that really turned me off. Our friend had the fried chicken. The crust was nice but she said that nothing was remarkable. The honey sauce tasted strange and the Asian slaw had more of a Southwest feel to it. We had planned on ordering pie but were so disappointed by the flavors and overwhelming sweet taste of the meal we decided to skipped it. read more

Our first brunch experience was so good we went back the next morning for more. Sadly the experience wasn't as great. I had to send my meal back because it was burnt. By the time it came out my boyfriend was already done eating his. The manager never came back to check on us. In light of the lack of customer service, the replacement was really good. Neither of us were fans of the sriracha jam but it was on the side. The chicken and waffles with eggs Benedict was very tasty. I ordered a Dr. Pepper and Disco Fries. The drink was flat with no carbonation so I sold the server and she brought me an identical one. I asked if the canister was switched out and she said no. Then someone presumably in charge came over and said it all "looked good on their end". So I had a soda without carbonation I couldn't drink. Then I sat and watched my fries be put up on the counter to be served. I kept watching it for the next 5 minutes while 2 other tables were cashed out and a 3rd table got some carry out containers. Finally I got the fries that were barely warm. Whenever I've come here before it's all been good. I drove out of my way from Midtown Tulsa and certainly won't make that mistake again. #disappointing read more

We really enjoyed our experience at Mad Eats. We shared the picnic basket, not sure if that's the right name. It included 1/2 chicken, 3 sides and 2 biscuits. Yes I know there's a ton of places in owasso to get chicken but I was really hungry and thought the chicken would be a safe bet. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was flavorful. Yet when a party of 30 came in being jerks, the manager stepped in and gave them every accommodation they asked for. This is a cool location. Great decor and fun retro diner vibes meets modern finishings. Our food was not of the quality that I would have hoped for this price point. I got the brisket bowl. It came out only lukewarm and the texture and flavors were not appetizing. The overall effect of the dish was too much like a soup. We ordered the gluten free nachos and street corn dip. We learned though that the corn chips are cooked in a fryer that contains gluten so conscientious eaters should be a bit wary of some of the menu items labelled gluten free. Wife and I really enjoyed this place the staff is extremely nice and very helpful. We started off with the fried pickles and rings. They were so good. Breading had a nice hard fry and they came out extremely hot. I had the fried chicken tacos and they were very tasty. The only down side was they don't have salsa.
