Shopped the furniture store on-line first, saw a few bedside tables on clearance that looked great in print, and went into the Del Amo Mall Macy's to see in person. When I couldn't find them, salesperson Stacy offered to help. She listened to what I was looking for and showed me their in-store options. None were quite right. I needed a specific size and color. She looked on line, quickly found tables she was already familiar with and thought would meet my requirements. The price was reasonable. Success! They arrived at my home a few days later. The delivery was on time and the men handling it were friendly as they carefully unpacked and placed them in my guest bedroom. They pointed out the USB ports that were discretely built in and I didn't even know were there. The tables were well made and of excellent quality. I'm annoyed. I went to Macy's in the Del Amo Mall yesterday evening to exchange a Nike sweat suit ( hoodie and pant) for a different size, it was a Christman gift from my son. After talking with the young lady at the return counter, she instructed me to go pick out the correct size, and then complete the exchange. My son had sent me the original email with the order# and items listed. Well, I went to the area looking for the correct size I needed, but it wasn't in stock in that color. I eventually found another color in my size, and it was actually a color that I needed for an event this upcoming weekend so that was cool. I'm now packing to leave to go out of town for the event, while putting the hoodie in my suitcase, I noticed a small whole on the side. It looks like it could have been made by the sensor that was attached to it. I'm bummed! I don't have time to take it back (it was actually the only one in that size left) and I need it, and there isn't a Macy's where I'm going. I've had 4 experiences in the last month. I've only ever shopped here a total of 5 times. 15yrs ago for a mattress which I liked very much. It lasted 11yrs. About a week maybe we could have a go I came there for the first time in 15 years and I purchased a dress. It was a beautiful dress. I'm not a namebrand person doesn't really allow me. If I like the dress or item that's all it counts. It has made really well. That's all that counts well this was made very well and yes, it was a Calvin Klein. Price was wonderful. It was $39 down from $150. I was there today, looking for a small clutch purse to be an accessory for my dress. I guess I was in the mall at 9:40am and I saw the doors open. I wasn't really paying attention to the time and I walked right in to Macys, rather than snap at me and tell me that they're not open yet and to come back in 20 minutes, I was greeted by a very pleasant man named Junior. He allowed me to come in and browse the clutch purses with my service dog told me to not feel rushed and to take my time. Also told me to be careful because not all lights were on yet. And then at 10 o'clock, I will see cashier starting to come to their stations and if I was ready to purchase, feel free to walk up to any of the cashiers. It felt great. I walked to the elevators. He advised me to go down to go to the clutches there I found the table filled with tons of 30 to 60% off merchandise perfect for what I needed found a $50 clutch for $12 a $40 clutch For $18. I was able to bring it to.TyJae, a cashier in the purse department. He held onto the items as I enjoyed browsing other items until his register was ready and open at 10 AM. As soon as it was registered, he gave me a little wave and told me no rush. If I was ready that he was ready for me if not, feel free to take your time and brow some more. At the register, TyJae was great. He didn't pressure me for a credit card. He showed me how to add another 30% off. Saving me almost $6 more. Told me at any point I could come back and sign up your card and I would receive another discount on my purchase. Help me put my email in so that I would receive my receipts through email. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a shopping trip at a large chain store. I will definitely return. Yes some prices are a little high price but if you wait things out, you can get a really good deal. That's actually better quality and cheaper than target and even Amazon. I'm actually going to cancel my clutch that I purchased from Amazon and return it. I had a very hard time, not leaving with a bunch of different purses. The 20 minutes I saved by coming in early, helped me be able to get to two of my appointments that I had set up after the mall so I truly appreciate that little time that I was given. it allowed me to shop with my service animal so that I was left alone, which is a rarity people do not leave me alone when I have my service animal. They always want to come up and pet her all the time. have to leave stores because I can't be left alone enough to shop so this was a huge treat! Thank you Junior. I came through to the R.H Macy & Co jewelry store to get my engagement ring and other jewelry cleaned before my wedding. I met with Armine and she was super helpful! She made sure she got all the details down prior to working, such as what metals she was working with and what type of cleaning service I wanted. Needless to say the jewelry came out sparkling as if new. Not to mention she was very sweet and humble. Salvador was great he walked me from the women cologne counter all the way to the men's side. That's what I call great customer service. The Men's store is beautiful and great selection of not only perfumes but men clothing. Macys have the best sales and offers. They also provide you with samples to make you try other colognes. Good but not great. Macys is one of Del Amo's large anchor stores. They have 3 floors and are very large. If you want to go from one end of the mall to the other end of the mall, you will have to walk through Macys. My opinion is that they do very little to put up great products along the walkway to lure customers further into the store. Better yet they are old school and their clothes and layout of the store does not cater to the newer generations. I came here on black friday to buy hugo boss suit. Their selection is very little in store and offers more online. More sizes are available online and very little, if not, no available sizes in stores. I tried out their suit in the fitting room and it's a complete mess in there. So many needles everywhere like on the seat and the floor. Like i need to take off my shoes to try out the pants and the needles are all over the ground. The needles came from the nicely packed dress shirt that uses needles to hold its shape in its packaging. The cashier was not friendly and monotone. It seemed a bit depressing inside Macys from the atmosphere of the store and from staff. But the price is good. You can find deals at Macys and you can get discounted Macys gift card at various places. Macys have some good brands in their stores but better selection and sizes online. read more

For years, I've been shopping here and they kept telling me I was getting points and it never showed up on the receipts. Not one sales person took the initiative to figure it out finally today I figured. Let me see why it doesn't show up. I spent $300 today. Some bogus manager tried to help, and then the person was on the phone had me on hold forever and some bullshit story that it was tied to an old account which I no longer have therefore, all these years I was thinking I was getting points by purchasing there, I never got any points. Total scam no efforts to try to offer something in lieu of the scam. I'll never ever shop at Macy's again never ever total total incompetence sounds like a total total scam. TLDR: If shopping clearance, check online first... otherwise you might get scammed / pay double! - - - - - - I walked through the clearance section for childhood nostalgia, but I was disappointed to discover that the piece I eyed was a bit damaged. Specifically, it had a few loose stitches that were visibly coming loose. Outside of the stitches, what was disappointing was how the price listed on the piece I wanted was TWICE as much as the price that I looked at online! Imagine if I didn't check online, I'd be paying double! I was given a Macys gift card ($200) as a Christmas present in December. Needless to say I was overjoyed (thinking that I'll use for upcoming birthdays the following year); however when I tried to use the card a few months later I found out ( via Macy's customer service) that the card had been used months prior.... So I asked " what's my recourse"...as I'm being told that a purchase had been made using the gift card but not by me! Hmmmm... long story short I received the "run around" from Macy's customer service regarding a reissuance of the gift card( or at least some compensation because they indicated that they had information of a purchase and the order showing I didn't make nor receive because my purchase /order summary history is documented). There has been no resolution...I'm feeling "some kind of way" about the lack of due diligence by Macy's regarding the fraudulent use of my gift card. Customer service "hinted" that this was the case therefore I asked " if you're aware that fraud took place( as records indicated) then why am I not receiving an appropriate response...?" I'm "done" with Macy's gift card- no more...no accountability! Macy's "scored" because a purchase was made(records show not by me)- I was left "high and dry" because I didn't get the opportunity to enjoy my $200 gift card. The whole time my son was shopping for a suit, we didn't see a single sales associate. And when he tried on shoes, they didn't have the right size. BUT - he bought a suit that seems about 75% as good as the one he liked at Brooks Brothers, at about 1/7th the price. Wow. Macy's doesn't do alterations anymore, but since we saved so much money, he'll get it altered at an independent tailor. My dad and I were shopping for a birthday gift for my mom and initially appreciated the offer to include some extras in the gift packaging. However, we weren't shown what those extras were. When my dad politely asked what would be included, Angela responded by rolling her eyes at him -- something I saw clearly. When I brought it up, instead of taking accountability, she dismissed it and said, "I'm sorry you think you saw that." The lack of professionalism and courtesy really left a bad impression. Went there today to buy four specific items. Found them and went to cashier. Sign said closed. Tried 4 other registers with same result. Finally found one open on the other side of the store. Long line of a dozen people waiting ... and waiting. Cashier was having a personal conversation with a customer and, after easily 15 minutes, everyone in line including me left our merchandise and departed. When the 2 qt pot arrived the second time the associate offered to try again but she confirmed that the UPC was listed incorrectly. I visited Macy's today at 1:37 in the afternoon. The store was not very busy when I was there. The entrance I used was off to the side. They opened at 10 am and the trash can was completely full with some trash spilling over. Come on folks get your business together. Amazon is a real threat and they deliver. People may not buy from your nasty environments and pay top dollar. Create an environment that is clean and we will shop there. Plus whomever laid out the tables in bedding needs their head examined. This Macy's is better than most. I like the Customer Service area on the first floor. There's a few smart women/men who do returns quickly. I shop a lot online due to my size so it's nice to have the area next to parking for returns. I think as a get older I have less patience to shop in the store. Also the variety of merchandise is good. This Macy's is 3 stories. Women's department is downstairs, then Shoes, Purses and Beauty on the second floor. Lastly, evening, sleep and undergarments on the top floor. The Men's, kitchen and bedding (Home) department is completely separate on the other side of the mall. Parking for that is the first/second floor across Carson. I've never had to wait too long to get checked out unless it's the holidays. read more

Irene (I didnt get her last name but she was in mens Levi's section. She'sa small famed asian lady with a short bob.) is an AMAZING ASSOCIATE. She greeted us with a huge smile, you could even see behind her mask. She went above and beyond to help the Mister n I with our transactions. We had an exchange which they didn't have the size we were looking for so she did a return. She then helped us with another transaction and also let us know that it was a buy 1, get 1/2 of another and that would be the best transaction, so we went with that. I was in Macy's today in the Ralph Lauren section behind a couple trying to buy a couple items. The woman working there asked the man if he'd like to save 20% with his Macy's card, so he gave it to her. She then said she had to update the information since it hadn't been used in more than a year. This turned into a phone call to Macy's somewhere to verify him, and also called him on his cell phone.
