Inside were a base mascara, mascara and Genefique Ultimate is a skin barrier to repair, boost radiance and correct signs of aging

I finally had the chance to go to Macy's in Valley Fair. I was there to buy Lancome's UV lotion. The sun's UV has been strong that I felt my skin burn. The Japanese brand wasn't protecting my face that I've seen spots on my cheeks. Lancome's UV Expert looks great in its packaging. The sales clerk was very helpful. After I made my purchase, she gave me a complimentary makeup inside a big pink Year of the Horse Lai-see (envelope). It's so pretty. It's fun to browse the cosmetic counters to see what to try on and new products being released. They always have a free thing to give away when you purchase a certain amount. The store is well lit and organized where you can find things easily. At the bottom floor, there's a dept called Backstage where you can find various items on sale.

Dresses, but not the ones my wife was looking at

I give this store more stars than a Nordstrom. The service was actually better and the selection was far bigger for evening dresses, etc. Huge selection, big store, and plenty of staff to help.

Stopped by Macy's today with the family and had a really solid experience. The store was nice and organized, which made browsing easy even with the holiday rush. The Toys R Us section was well stocked with plenty of toys still available, which was great to see this close to the holidays. Lots of good sales throughout the store too, making it a convenient stop for holiday shopping without feeling overwhelming. Overall, a seamless experience before the holidays.

I was looking for a Nespresso machine on sale and I found a bunch of them here. They're on sale for 25% off of original price. This is a great place to buy Christmas presents for those who love coffee

I have never been to a Macy's that literally divided the men's and women's in to two two completely different areas and I mean entity separate places at a shopping mall. For the average shopper, depending on the pursuit for men or women's clothing, this is ridiculous and a major inconvenience. Staff were not at all attentive but we're definitely concerned as to why I was literally standing in one place for several minutes, even though they saw my wife walking with me and head straight to the bathroom. I got so annoyed with them I literally started walking around hoping to get their eyes off of me, but I think it only made it worse. The prices were literally the same that you could find any other Macy's, on the high-end, but maybe on a better day they're much more affordable for the general customer. I don't see myself coming here anytime soon we're probably ever again. 2/5.

Curbside pick up fail
Adelaide C.

This review is about curbside pickup. Why even offer curbside pickup if it doesn't work? I came at 7 pm, 2 hours before closing. I tried to check in by clicking on the button that was provided in the email for my order. It did not work. Then I called the phone number and no one answered. Twice. The only reason I ordered at Macy's is because my purchase came with a free gift. I walked in and went and got my package at the At Your Service desk. They told me I didn't check in online. I tried again and it still did not work. I explained that I called twice and no acknowledgement they were not picking up the phone. There were two staff working at the desk and just me and one other customer.

Is this location still open for business? I've been calling for 2 days straight and no department is answering the phone.

Yes, They are open, same location and same hours.... they don't have a switchboard anymore

Are the dressing rooms open?

Most of them are still closed but at least one was open today while I was there.

I was referred by another thrift store, so I decided to stop by (walk in/no appointments) to sell a few items. No long lines or crowds after 1pm Thursday. I never thought about coming here, but it looks legit and there's more upstairs to browse around. It was more spacious than expected in this old landmark building/house corner. Not bad at all. Staff is welcoming and worked pretty fast going through people's drop off bags of clothes, etc. They sell new items too (clothing/scarf dyes, little gifts, sunglasses, shoes, jewelry, and more). Items on racks are good looking and colorful in some spots. There were plenty of Baggu handbags for sale too. Good variety of colors and styles. They have good looking boots for sure. Prices on racks are on the higher end side/more expensive for thrift store items. Very clean though, like new for most items. It didn't take long before they were finished going through my bags. It's a bit more high end here, so if you have good brands vintage fashion items, this can be a good convenient spot for you.

Went thrifting this afternoon and my first stop was Black and Brown. I'd never been there before…read moreand wasn't sure what to expect. Wow, what an amazing store. They mainly sell vintage and modern secondhand clothes, bags, and shoes for women and men, but they also have new pottery from a designer called Familiar. The store is spacious and carefully curated. There is no thrift shop smell and it looks more like a cute boutique than a secondhand store. You can sell your clothes there, too. There are two floors of women's clothes and a separate men's shop across a little courtyard in the back. Most of the customers when I was there were young adults of both sexes. The store was busy on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Fortunately, they have a dedicated parking lot behind the shop with plenty of spaces. The staff welcomed me immediately when I walked in. I was interested in looking at purses and they had quite a few vintage and newer ones from designers like Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Dooney & Bourke. I didn't buy any, but enjoyed checking out what they had to offer. I didn't pay too much attention to the clothes, except to notice that women's pant sizes on the second floor only seemed to go up to size 11/12. If they had bigger sizes, I didn't see them. Overall, I was impressed with Black and Brown and would like to go back.

I'll preface by saying the clothes are beautiful and feel high quality, and I walked out with two…read morepieces recently that I love. I know this is the Bay Area, but I'm not about to drop $100+ per piece at a DTC brand without seeing it in person first. (My mom dressed me in clearance JCPenney and hand-me-downs as a kid.) I've been inside this specific store twice and the one in SF once. The day I made my purchase was a weekend, whereas my other two visits were on weekdays. On weekdays, the store is pretty much empty. I think for shopping in store at Sezane, that is the preference. My biggest peeve with both the SF and SJ stores (and I assume this is a feature of all their stores) is the cubby wall. They could have put multiple racks in that space, but instead they have a massive wall of cubbies with a different style in each cubby. They're all folded, and I was told you need to point out an item and have the employee take it out to show it to you. The same employee then has to find your size and refold and put back what was taken out. This is literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a clothing store. What if I want to see every single piece? How do I even know what the fabric feels like, or if it's sleeveless, or if it's a sweater? You don't, unless you've memorized the Sezane online catalog and know exactly what you're looking for. I could just feel the employee's annoyance every time I asked to see a new style. I would have LOVED to browse more, but the store was very busy, and I didn't want to be a burden. On the weekend day I finally bought something, there was one cashier and there was a line rapidly building behind me as there was a customer who had some sort of involved issue. There was no backup cashier called (not sure they have that capability), and we all just had to wait. I also really wanted to see some dresses in person, but they barely had any - maybe 3 or 4 styles whereas they have a lot online! The clothes are beautiful and maybe if you are shopping 1:1 with an employee on a less busy day, it could even be fun!

Beautiful shop. I had no idea there was one here so it was a pleasant surprise to see. I had to…read morestop by, but I did not have a lot of time. I was approached by a very friendly employee who asked if I needed any help. While I saw items I was interested in knowing more about, I was on a time limit and knew I wouldn't have time to even try anything on. I really wanted to do a quick walk around of the store to see what merchandise they had and to take a mental note. They had a live embroiderer near the dressing rooms who was embroidering things for clients. They also had little mini chocolate croissants with cute branded Sezane napkins near the shoe area. I think I was approached by two employees who were nice and personable. While I did not get greeted by others when I was in their area of the store. This is just a pop-up shop still -- its not a permanent location. There is one in SF apparently. I've been to the one in NYC and the pop-up shop in LA in the past. Sezane is on the higher price point, but I do still love the brand and would love to see more boutiques to visit for an in person shopping experience. I do believe that if you invest in pieces from this brand, they will be timeless, as I still would wear the items I purchased many years ago today.

From the floor to the dressing rooms to the cash register, every single person greeted me and my husband, offered their help (but not in a pushy way), and made us feel like valued customers. How refreshing is that?! I mean that should be the norm, but let's be real...these days that sort of thing is rare. So thank you to Madewell Santana Row and its team for providing such an enjoyable shopping experience! A big shoutout to Daijunay who helped me out in the dressing room area. I must've tried on around 5-6 pairs of jeans, and she was so helpful, patient, and friendly. Plus, her styling advice came from what felt like a sincere place of helping a girl look her best, rather than just trying to make a sale, know what I mean? Thank you Daijunay! They certainly made a new customer out of me (and my hubby - they have a men's section as well). The jeans are really great here. They even have a jeans recycling program where you bring in old jeans you don't want, from any brand, and they will recycle them and give you a little store credit toward a new pair of their jeans! Maybe I'm late to the game on Madewell (I mean I knew of the brand but just never shopped here), but I'm glad I popped in and found some amazing new jeans (and they were having a great end-of-season sale too)!
