The customer service here is non existent. Went in today 4/15 at about 12:15pm to find a dress for my friends wedding. Was not greeted by anyone. I ended up finding a dress and went into the dressing room to try it on. Had to look for the dressing room associate and she made it seem like I was bothering her. I asked if I could try this dress on and she said yea just go to any room, didn't wake me over to the room, pull a number nothing. That dress didn't work I chose a different one when I walked back into the dressing room and walked another associate almost ran into me. A tiny girl with long hair and long nails, didn't say hi just looked at me like I was in her way. When I finally found a dress I went to the cashier and it was the girl who almost ran into me. She was ringing up a customer before me and when she was done didn't even say I can help you next, she just started at me. I went up to cash, she didn't start conversation, she rang up my dress told me the total and sent me on my way. I work customer service so let's get it together Macy's! read more

Went in today to purchase a face lotion, since my skin was feeling really dry due to the cold weather. If you ever get a chance ask for Elizabeth at the Estée Lauder counter. Elizabeth gives the best customer service. To her you become a friend, not just a sale. She is very knowledgeable on the products and has always help me make the best purchase for what ever might be my need at that time. She is beautiful inside and out and takes care of you. As a customer you always want the best customer service. With her you will always get it no matter what. She is the reason I buy from Estée Lauder. Women macys has horrible service and very rude staff. Went with wife to get a dress and received no help had to get help in shoe department. Spoke to manager about rude employees and she was just as rude as her employees. Guess the customers always wrong at this macys. Would not go again if the whole store was free. Is it sexist for me to ask...Why is the Children's store combined with the Men's store and the Women's store a block away??! I don't get it. Customer service really lacks at the Men's store. I was looking for certain items and couldn't find a sales associate for help. After wasting about a half an hour I left frustrated. I called my girlfriend and told her about it and she said "just go to Nordstrom's". I did, and got everything I needed with the assistance of a helpful and enthusiastic saleslady. I was looking for something light for my daughter who is just beginning to wear makeup and we stopped by Macy's at the Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. Crystal whom works with impulse introduced us to a brand called Tarte which is not a heavy foundation but rather a sunscreen with natural colors for the skin tone. We purchased it and my daughter received a lot of complements on her makeup, which she was only wearing the sunscreen. This brand of makeup are more for vegans and want a more natural earthy type of look without looking like makeup is compacted on. A few days later my mom had me take her to try it out and she purchased more then what she went in for because she was so pleased. I highly recommend this product and Crystal was beyond helpful and understood exactly what we were looking for. Customer service all around was excellent. read more

An excellent collection with great prices. I am writing this review particularly for the two associates who work in the Home Department in the Bed sheets section.The ladies are LUCY & JOYCE. I am extremely impressed by the effectiveness of these ladies: Last Saturday, during the super sale hours ( till 1 pm) the department was too busy, most customers, including me just wanted to find their choice of stuff asap, as we could use the coupons only before 1 pm. The customers were calling upon them for help. The way they were handling all this pressure, with so much grace and patience and a lovely smile on their face , was unbeatable. I had to special order a particular color and kind of sheet as it was unavailable in the store. Lucy was so meticulous in doing that even though I changed my order once. She was still able to attend/ help other customers with great efficiency. Employees like Lucy & Joyce are a big asset to any company. Way to go!!!! read more

Store would NOT honor 15% "black friday" code "Thanks" coupon because they said store was already on sale. Lol. I hate macys they are overpriced to begin with, meaning "on sale" costs more here than it does everywhere else. I did find a pair of guess jeans for $40 after digging through piles to find my size. This store is such a mess, you may find a style in Seven for all mankind you like in one size, but you'll never find another one like it. It is so disorganized I can't believe I was there when they first opened the doors and the fitting rooms were still messy from the day before looks like, piles of clothes were everywhere, hangers crooked. It was just a disaster. I've worked in retail my whole life as a manager I'd be ashamed to run a store like this. Customer service = total zero. read more

This review is for the shoe department in the women's Macy's. They are seriously understaffed. I have tried purchasing shoes here on more than one occasion (and different days of the week). Every single time I have walked out empty handed because either: I could not get a staff member to help me by bringing my size to try on because they were all busy even after waiting for some time; when someone did take my size down, I waited a long time but the shoes to try on were never brought to me because the staff was too busy; or when I was able to try on the shoes there was nobody at the register even after waiting for a long time. read more

Just purchased $300 worth of clothing. Cashier was pleasant but when I requested gift boxes she said we only carry those at Christmas time. I was here at Christmas and was told by every department they had run out! Anyway I went to customer service to request a gift box or at the very least to purchase some. Was told by clerk we no longer provide boxes. What??? You can SELL me $300 dollars of clothes but not have any boxes, or even to purchase! Talk about lack of service, so now I have to go to another store to purchase them. Screw this I'm going to Nordstrom's from now on, same merchandise at the same price point but guess what not only do they provide boxes but they do it with courtesy! read more

My rating for Macy's is based on customer service given to us in the Home dept by Michael. We were at the Victoria Garden Mall and we were trying to buy a pillow. When I checked with the rep Michael, he took me to show us the different types of pillows and his knowledge on the different types was amazing and impressive. He didn't hurry us and he was patient. We ended up buying 2 pillows and I bought sheets. It was a nice experience and will rerurn back soon. read more

This location is huge and has great selection but I think that is also its downfall- it's too huge! It's hard to find someone to help you and when you do it takes a while to get through your purchase, fittings etc. I made an online purchase and wen to pick up in store... My rating of this store is strictly for Mustafá the salesman in the furniture department and their white glove service delivery. A few months back my husband and I purchased an adjustable platform for our temperpedic mattress, Mustafá was our salesman. He was great, he explained the features and gave us the best price available at the time and let us know about the warranty options. The platform was delivered within a couple of weeks and we completely enjoyed the white glove service offered by Macy's. Just a few weeks ago my husband and I went back to purchase a sofa and recliners, this was after having the worse ever experience with Mathis Bro's, if you're interested you can read that review on Yelp. We again reached to Mustafá for assistance, he was very patient with us as we were a bit undecided as to which model we wanted. The model we selected was out of stock, but he assured us we would receive the sofa and recliners by the first week of September, no later. Needless to say, we received our items last Thursday and again, Macy's white glove service was fantastic. Thanks so much Mustafá, you made out shopping experience the best. read more

Today I made my way to Macy's to pick up my favorite Purity make up wipes... fingers crossed walking in they had them in stock. Nope, but they did have some cute smaller versions available so I purchased them. I also needed to get an updated shade of my favorite smashbox foundation- Taylor assisted me and she was AMAZING!!!! She also helped me find so under eye concealer for my old lady eyes. At check out my card declined, I was devastated- she was very sweet the entire time while I was on hold trying to figure out this situation. I'm a big fan of smashbox and purity wipes. The Macy's is huge here. They have one department store for women and another department store dedicated to men's, children's and furnishing. I like that Macy's has reasonable prices, coupons, and good clothing options. Lots of staff here and they are ready to assist you. I wonder if it's always like that at this location or it's because of the holiday season. The store is clean and organized. read more

I have been searching for a very specific suitcase and I finally found a store that had it available. I was down here for work with a suitcase that I wasn't happy with and so I called the store and had them put the suitcase on hold and they took my name and phone number. I couldn't get over to the store until the next day. Barely 24 hours after I had called. I drove 20 miles in a 24ft box truck ( that I had for work) and arrived at the store excited to purchase the suitcase that I had been searching for. But nobody could find it and now the store said that they no longer had it in stock. Apparently they can put something on hold but then they just decide to sell it without calling me at all. read more

I love shopping especially at Macy's but my experience today was the worst. I live far but decided to make the drive down to this Macy's because I wanted to look for a particular outfit for work. I was in the junior department by the Levis Jeans and encountered an extremely rude employee. My cousins and I were talking and enjoying our shopping experience. My cousin suddenly stopped and I asked why and started laughing and the employee by the name of Taylor looked at both of us, gave us a dirty look and said "ok" as she rolled her eyes. It was very rude I didn't even continue shopping. I purchased two shirts in another department and left the store. I was really disappointed because I know Macy's is very customer service based and it is unfortunate that they hire people that are rude. Credit system went down on Black Friday! Took me an hour to buy an item. The clerk didn't now it was a national problem, so I called my bank. The. Manager came by and told clerk it was a nationwide problem. Had to manually put in information then Call for approval, but because nation wide problem all stores are calling for approval. If I could give no star I would! They are straight lame! My husband placed an order online using PayPal to checkout where they have no option to have put in an additional person for in store pick up. So I go in with my husbands ID just in case and the email with the barcode and not only is that not acceptable but THEY HAVE NO WAY OF CHANGING THE PICK UP PERSONS NAME AFTER PLACING THE ORDER! I was trying to find a coat so I called the store to make an order I spoke to Theresa, at the men's department she said she will go to look for it and will call me back ,she never did !the next day I called they said that she is off so ,I called again ,and spoke to Stephanie she also took the web ID number she said :"hold on the line I'm going to see if I find that ", I said yes ,but take my phone number in case we will get disconnected for any reason ,she wrote down my phone number and left me on hold ,and after 42 long minutes I was tired of holding on so I hung up !!!! she NEVER Bothered to call me back....... After two hours I called again and ask for a manager so they transfer me to one of the store managers by the name Denise . Same old story again took the web ID promised to call me back and now it's been almost 4 hours and no one called me back should I even bother to call again ?????
