Not all Macy's are created equal. This is the best in Vegas. Beware. They acquired another store across the walkway so they have completely separated men's and womens clothing. If you are a plus size woman this store has the largest selection and if you are a clearance rack ho... you won't be disappointed. Great shoe selection too! (The only larger plus-size section I know of is Union Square in San Francisco) I can be a real bargain shopper so I love the clearance rack/coupon combinations that are almost always available if you have a macy's card. I think if you are out of town you automatically get a 10% discount but don't know if they still do that. read more

What the hell, Macy's? Now don't get me wrong, I love this place usually, but today was a human car wash of terror. Sunday afternoon and it was packed as hell and really gave off the air of hysteria. When you first walk in, my mom and I had to hang an immediate left to make sure we weren't accosted by many people handing out loads of perfume samples. Since my mother is an asthmatic, this is not a good scene for her to be in, and since I could really give a flying frog it was not a good scene for me either. We headed to the women's department to try and find her some jeans, but it was ridiculously unorganized and we couldn't find hardly anything. Not only that, but after 10 minutes of wandering aimlessly on the first floor we couldn't find ONE associate to even throw us in the right direction. Not okay, especially when it is as busy as it was. In the past I have liked shopping here since they have some really good sales usually, and have held special events, but overall I think I would avoid this specific store like the plague. Went to the Estée Lauder department here to purchase Christmas gifts. There was one man at the counter helping another person. That transaction finished quickly without the man asking me or my mom if we needed anything. After standing in front of the counter for several minutes without acknowledgement I decided to leave, and then Thomas made it known he was available. Poor customer service, as I walked away Thomas snarkley said "have an amazing day" Most of the time I would just walk away, but this time I was with my family and asked him his name several times (without acknowledgement again) before reading it on his badge ... no one should treat customers This way, Especially during Christmas... Macy's corporate customer service is non-existent. What a JOKE. I was at Macy's 4/3/16 buying a bunch of women's clothing. I went to check out in the Junior's department and had some coupons that Macy's mailed me for being a Macy's card holder. NOTE: you can't use their coupons without charging it to their Macy's credit card. I had a major issue two months ago at the Fashion Show location when I tried to use my Macy's card at a register but didn't have my card. It was ridiculous how they had to call the credit dept and it took them 15 minutes to locate my account, it was like the freakin Spanish Inquisition trying to pull up my acct and that was back in late Feb '16. I am posting my review to both macy's because the last incident in Feb happened at this location. So remembering the ordeal I had last time, I brought my Macy's card with me for my next purchase. I had a $10 off coupon and a 20 percent off coupon. The cashier swiped my card, and it displayed all of the current offers and promotions tied to my account. I saw my account and the last 4 digits of the card on the screen, plus those discounts will not appear unless they have your credit account pulled up. She then applied the coupon discounts and attempted to complete the sale. The system gave her an error and she asked me to swipe the card again. OK no big deal. For some reason, suddenly the card wouldn't register in their system, even though it came up a few min prior. She called the Macy's credit department and after a few min she said they informed her that my account was closed? How was it closed when I just made a payment last month and received coupons in the mail?? She gave me the phone with the credit dept and I was on the phone with three agents for LITERALLY 35 minutes total. After much hassle and questions about when the last time I made a purchase at the store, and which store, and what's my SSN, what's my current address, what was my previous address... the first rep finally explains that Macys did a backup of their system in August 2015 ...umm so what's the problem? They didn't mail me a new card.. ... and how is that my fault? Did the acct number change? She said no. She was fumbling around, not having any information for me. And how was I able to make a purchase on said closed account last month? No response. She never did say I'm sorry for the inconvenience, just acted like this was my fault and now she had wasted my time standing there on hold, answering a hundred questions, all of these people couldn't check out behind me as if this was the only register in the entire store open. While the credit rep was giving me the runaround, I turned to look behind me and realized that there was a HUGE line of 15 people waiting behind me. I wasn't satisfied with the Macy's credit department rep's excuses (or lack of), so I asked for a 50 percent discount for that purchase because of them inconveniencing me. She said she couldn't authorize that, and she (clearly just wanted to get off the phone) transferred to a credit supervisor. I was placed on hold for 6 minutes. The "supervisor" MUST have been briefed by the previous rep for the amount of time I was on hold... she HAD my info already and she acted like she didn't know the background. And what is the first thing supervisor says to me? "How may I help you?" I told her I was not going to repeat the entire situation in front of 15 people and all the cashiers AGAIN, and I had been on the phone for almost 25 minutes now. She paused and then said I understand you are asking for a reimbursement for today's purchase. (See, she KNEW why the call was forwarded to her. Just plain BAD customer service right there). She informed me she could not authorize a discount and transferred me to a Loyalty rep. Why didn't the first rep just transfer me to Loyalty if her dept doesn't give discounts!? So I stood there, waiting yet another 5 minutes on hold, then another girl from Loyalty dept answered and advised they could only offer a 15 percent coupon (not 50 as I requested.. FIFTEEN) toward my NEXT visit and an apology letter. That is insulting after all that time on the phone. The loyalty rep acted very smug as if to say I should be grateful they are sending me an apology letter!!!! Is this how they treat their customers of 10 years? None of the credit agents cared about wasting my time or publicly embarrassing me. And not once did a store manager bother to come over. A manager should have seen a ridiculous line and at least opened another register, or should have intervened. NOTHING. I felt bad for the cashier, none of this was her fault. Shame on you, Macy's for treating your customers badly!! I sent an email to the credit card dept at Macy's the following day, and I received a generic reply that they attempted to contact me at my phone number but to no avail (liars... I received no phone calls from them). What a joke. read more

On a quest for a dress to wear to Lisa L's wedding, Macy's was one of the options I figured would come through. They carry my favorite dress brand, BCBG, and I've had success dress shopping at Macy's back in Houston. This Macy's, however, was awful. The store was a mess and the layout was so bad! I was stressed out just walking among all the racks of ugly disheveled clothes. The "social dresses" section was a cross between a second hand prom dress store from the 90's and a drag queen outfitters. So.Many.Sequins. Yup, officially worst Macy's I've ever experienced. Macy's is a huge store and can be quite hard to find your way around. Keep looking at the floor charts to keep your bearings. There are around 2 floors of men's clothing and I managed to find some good stuff there. DKNY, Levi's, American Rag to name a few. If you're out there for some clothes shopping then you have to visit Macy's at least once and see if you can find any bargains. You quite often find items at 10%-50% off! If you're on holiday there then make sure you go to the visitor center which is on floor 1 1/2 and get an 10% off card for all out of state visitors. You may have to take your driving license or passport to prove you're a visitor to Las Vegas. This gives you 10% off most items although there are some exceptions which it states on the card. read more

It's a shame that this store has the widest variety in Vegas , because the sales people are HORRIBLE!!!! How many times can a guy say that he doesn't need help?! Everyone is driving you crazy here so they can close a sale! They won't stop! One sales lady even called me from 25 ft away like it's some kind of a market in India, saying "SIR! Sir!!! Sir!!!!" When I looked on her she goes "can I help you??" No you can't! Stop being so pushy!!! Even the manager of the jewelry department asked me like 5 times if I need anything, and every time you say no they will try to start a small talk conversation. I had a really bad experience here when i got my make-up done for high-school prom..whiiile backk. but she did my make-up and told me it was a "surprise" until the end, i chose my eyeshadow but when i saw my face it was filled with foundation that was wayy darker than my skin tone and my eyeshadow was kind of a mess!! this put me to tears considering that i was going to take pics 2 hours from that time.. I completely took it off when i got home and re-did my make up=(. so PLEASEEEE if you want to experience having your make up done by MAC makeup artists PLEASE do me a favor and go to Nordstroms or Neiman Marcus. going to MAcys for MAC was a nightmare! read more

Macy's Womens Shoes, What can I say...... I go there with my Mom shopping. We were bombarded by sales people one after the other saying "can I help you find something". (Even after we had been helped) How annoying. We Find the shoe we like and the sales rep goes to look for it in the back. The wait for the show was almost 30 min. By the time the rep returned we just wanted to leave. (And almost did) The shoe didn't fit and after the wait we had, we decided to get on with our lives and NOT waster another 1/2 hour or more waiting to find the next pair. Went into Macy's to get a Dress Shirt or two as I had left them back at home. I was lucky enough to have Tad help us look for shirts. When I thought i was a 17.5 to 18 inch neck, Tad asked me to just try a 17 inch neck on and see if i could close the neck and still breathe easily. To my surprise it fit great.!! With Tad's help and his eye for color and fit, I ended up buying over $680. in shirts, pants, jacket, and a belt. All Employee's should be like Tad, I wish he lived closer to our home. I'd go back to him often for my wardrobe and anything else Ask For Tad. You won't be let down!! read more

This review is for the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics counter. Wow! Great service. Madison was wonderful, and so was the manager Jennifer. I recently was contemplating switching to Bobbi Brown foundation from MAC, just because I wanted to switch things up a bit. I had a Macy's gift card, and this was the closest one with a Bobbi Brown counter. I called and spoke with Madison for 10 minutes, asking numerous questions and seeking advice. She was so amazing! Super helpful, knowledgeable, and passionate about what she was recommending. Because of the phone experience I had with her, I ended up going down to make the switch! She was just as helpful in person, and I ended up purchasing foundation, powder, an art pencil, and two brushes, without her being pushy or trying to upsell me anything(I hate feeling like someone is just trying to make a sale). Definitely the biggest Macy's I've ever been in! The selection is outstanding, and - if you know where to look - you can really get a good deal. I was looking for a formal dress, and I'm a size 2; when I didn't find anything in the ladies' formal dress section, I searched out the Juniors department and found a dress that looked incredible on me for less than $70. (Perks of being small - and it's prom dress season, yay!) All the workers I interacted with were friendly; one of the Gucci workers actually helped point me in the right direction when I was disoriented (it's a big store!), and we joked a little. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. And in terms of Macy's in Las Vegas, this is definitely the best one. Next time I go to Macy's, it'll be this one. The underground parking is a little disorienting if you've never been before, but park near an escalator (they're color-coded - very handy!), and you'll be a-okay. read more

I was never a big Macy's fan, but this store at the fashion mall is different from the other Macy's around the Las Vegas valley. I will say, Customer service isn't one of Macy's strength, but it's the price that separates this location. My friend from Hawaii swears by this location, and only comes when he gets the 30% off coupon from Macys. What is unique about this location is the closeout racks at each brand departments. I was kind of stunned to see a Hurley T-shirt marked down to 5.00, and another 30% off the entire purchase. Needed a bunch of clothing and I received a coupon in the mail 25% off all clearance items...ok cool I'll head to Macy's then. I go in and asked the sales clerk if I can use the coupon for some purchases and THREE of them behind the counter didn't know. They all asked a forth and she gave me a TON of rules: coupon can't be used for one day clearance specials, cant be a clearance item with a red and blue line on the tag, cant be from the LIST of designer items printed on the coupon (in micro fine hard to see font) cant be used in conjunction with other specials etc...I was speechless. WTF?! I went in with a list of clothing items I needed and walked out empty handed. So many coupon rules, unorganized racks, sales people who know nothing, it is a chore to shop here. I try to not leave one star reviews but really, this was awful today. Someone had vomited in the bathroom, another stall had overflowed and someone tried using toilet seat covers to mop it up. Trash and water everywhere. WhoTF pukes in a Macy's in the middle of the afternoon? Then outside in the store was a litany of disorganized racks, picked over shelves, and unhelpful, sad, sad salespeople. The very friendly sales assistant not only gave me a voucher to get money off my undies, she gave me a very friendly, motherly lecture about staying hydrated in the Nevada heat. The fact that there is a Macy's on the Strip is great for last minute, forgetful shoppers like myself. What was a bonus was that their prices weren't outrageously inflated, and, bonus #2, they had so many makeup counters inside it was basically a Sephora inside the store. They had Benefit (with full service salon), Clinique, Tarte, OPI, Philosophy and BareMinerals products. Probably more, too, I can't remember. But that's a lot! I wanted a sample of a moisturizer and the young woman working in the Philosophy section was very obliging. We chatted for a bit, and her associate who was nearby asked what part of Canada I'm from. Huh? I was confused, and the woman explained that usually people were so rude to them that when someone was polite they assumed they were from Canada or the Midwest. Kinda funny, also kinda sad. Well, it's really great then, that, despite that level of rudeness, the associates at Philosophy/Macy's can be so kind to customers. I'm glad the store is present where it is, it's super convenient and carries anything you might need getting ready for a night out! read more

My wife and and went to Macy's at the Meadows Mall, Las Vegas, Nevada to look at furniture and mattresses. We found a Purple2 Hybrid a floor model that was on clearance. The sales person was out to lunch, so we waited for an hour, she was very helpful, but unable to get the clearance price. She asked us to come back in two hours and she would speak with the department manager in order to get pricing and paperwork. We went back several hours later , she had the sales price, we agreed to purchase it, she a said that the department manager would now have order the release, my wife and i waited for well over to hours but the department manager never got back with the salesperson to release the mattress . We agreed to contact the sales person the following morning, the following morning we were told that it was a weekend and therefore nothing could be done. The sales person was off Monday and Tuesday, so on Wednesday we called her and she said the manager had not contacted her. We tried again, on Thursday, Friday, Saturday still no answer. Because of the holiday weekend nothing could be done, so we tried again this , morning (9-7-21)and still no answer. Needless to say after waiting for over 12 days, we will not be buying at Macy's anytime soon. Horrible customer service and never able to contact anyone by phone locally but rather being forwarded to their national order desk in Florida somewhere. If I could give zero stars I would. It does not give me the option to. I would like to take the time however to share my unpleasant experience at this particular Macy's located inside the Fashion Show Mall at Las Vegas, Nevada. My all time favorite store is Macy's just for about anything (home essentials, furniture, clothes, and gifts for all occasions, etc). I have traveled and shopped at many Macy's and have always been impressed by their excellent customer service. There are many sales representatives and workers that go above and beyond their work ethics to provide the best customer service and experience to shoppers however, sadly there are a few that do not. There is a salesman (in men's department) that I encountered during my shopping visit by the name of Damon (no name tag on him however stated Damon was his name when asked)at the Macy's in the Fashion Show Mall located in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is beyond unprofessional, has poor customer service and has very poor character. I was purchasing a sale item that was showing up as a regular priced item, which I mentioned had a big label "super buy" on the whole shelf and I even offered to go show it to him. He stated he could not leave his area and basically was firm that he could not do anything about it if that is what the item scans in the computer system. Well, the sign for the "super sale" was on the shelf as clear as daylight. During the Christmas holidays I know gets pretty hectic but bottomline a salesman should never treat customers the way he treated me and should have been more helpful. If an item was showing up as a regular price item in the computer system then they should not have a sale label on that item. Or at least take the time to go with the customer and see the items on the shelf that says super sale or just contact your department manager because it may be that the items were mislabeled. I say "poor character" because aside from his facial impressions and eye-rolling attitude, he was very unprofessional and I am so disappointed that he even represents this great company that has such highly exceptional customer service. read more

I like Macy's and sad there isn't one in Canada so I make a point of visiting one when I go to the States. I had a 10% visitor coupon, coupons for being a Macy's credit card holder, and they were also having their one day sale so I was excited to find great deals. There is a lot of stock in this store including a floor dedicated to women's clothing, and half a floor for men's clothing but I still found it difficult to find something of good quality and price to buy. When I went to pay, they didn't accept my Macy's credit card coupons or the 10% off since some of the items were already on sale. I guess I should have read all the fine print but I didn't think the deals were really that cheap. This was probably the most disappointing Macy's visit I've had. Next time I'll check out the outlet stores instead. read more

The Macy's at the Fashion Show mall is probably one of the best Macy's locations I've ever been to (comparing this store to the flagship in NYC, and locations throughout L.A., along with my home base of Atlanta). The store has a phenomenal men's department and great sales. All of the staff was extremely friendly and willing to help with anything we needed assistance with. This was a pleasant surprise for the mall which had some very stuffy stores. Definitely stop in this location if you're in Vegas and wanting to shop. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge * 66/100 Macy's is currently under renovation to make way for a separate department division right across, entirely for men. Sections have been closed off to spread out whatever's left of women's lines so expect the second floor to be occupied with women's clothing as well (plus teenagers and children) This is always a must-stop around Memorial Day, post-Christmas, Thanksgiving and any important holiday really. Why? Clearance. Yes, 65% off original prices and 30% off already reduced prices. Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren price tags go down as low as $14 a shirt - not bad for high quality clothing. Clearance shoe racks are arranged according to size and prices range from $10-$80-ish (mind you, these are designer brands) Only downside is if you're a size 6 and find a great pair at size 9, chances are the store won't have stock for your size left. Still, I would trade designer brands any day (not like I'm really into them in the first place) for affordable prices and you can't go wrong with that. read more

Early this morning, Macy's Shiseido offered many gift cards and free donuts from the world famous Donut Bar hosted on TV's Food Network and Travel Channel. The store was full. Great security in the parking garage. There were so many people, they needed extra staff to help people park their vehicles. Donuts and coffee, great for starting a last minute shopping rush for the holidays, especially for those families leaving town for the weekend. read more
