Customer service here is absolute trash! I understand that everyone is understaffed -particularly the service sector- but that is absolutely no reason to take it out on customers. I had to return a few items from an online purchase and the lady at the return desk was disgustingly rude and did not know how to do her job. I had to walk her thru the return process because apparently she doesn't know what she's doing. I have yet to see a credit on my account and I do not look forward to having to return to this horrible store to get the issue fixed. Train your employees! read more

Once upon a time very long ago, Macy's cared about the customer. Sales Reps would greet and assist you. Displays were beautiful, clean, and organized. Now this doesn't exist anymore. There were an abundance of employees on the sales floor, but they were more interested in interacting with each other and ignoring customers. It was very messy. If they are there to put away clothing from a crazy sales weekend, then schedule employees outside of store hours. Macy's can't decide if it wants to be higher end or appeal to Coupon Customer. Just call it a day and become Ross already. I get better service at Walmart. read more

This use to be my favorite store. I've shopped at the Arrowhead location since it opened. I will never go there again. The last several times I have gone in to buy something and have been unable to find help at any registers unless you want to buy makeup. I bought a blouse last week and didn't try it on because the dressing room that was open had a line so I stood in line to buy it. I went to return it yesterday and the line was crazy long. If you want to buy makeup, shoes or purses don't even bother with this store. The store sells to mostly young people (who don't sop there) I don't know a lot of women who want there midriff exposed. The men's department, well, I won't go there. The store looks like a Ross. My Platinum Card will go in the shredder tonight. Goodbye Macys. read more

So we came in to this store on Monday 3-15-21 around 8pm looking for some blouses for my wife but we ended up in the shoe department which is very large I have to say . So my wife and mother in law found some shoes they really liked and this young lady who I don't remember her name but she was wearing a " Niqab" around her head and face . From there culture she was super awesome and helpful even though they where understaff as we can tell she was the only one helping us and from we saw like 5 other families at that hour . She was fast , nice , helpful, respectful, patient just over the top customer service all around we've been many times at this location but never had customer service this awesome . My wife ended up buying a pair of high heels from Alfani which are like a colorful snake design and my mother in law got a pair as well of Michael Kors flats in brown with a 25 percent already discounted. So to any one reading this if you want awesome brands awesome price shoes and have a one of a kind customer service while shopping come to this arrowhead location and ask for this awesome young lady who made my wife's and mother in law and yes mine as well an awesome experience.. read more

The inside displays and physical interior is well-kept, nice, professional and decorated festively for the holidays. However, the customer service was not pleasant at all. There were many workers around, however, none were around to help in the department I was shopping in. I asked several times for some help and pricing. I would have made a purchase and contribute to their company - but the disorganized and lazy workers prevented me from doing so. I was disappointed in the lack of service. I was really looking forward to day out browsing and shopping at this store location today. Ha, the lingerie department was a bit rundown had to search and search for sizes, nothing was organized in the bras/panties. Next Stop, men's department, well the escalator was broken you had to climb the steps or find the elevator with no air conditioning and we are talking a 114 degree day, no one was available to answer any questions, when I did find someone they were at the checkout, they acted as if I was bothering them. I'm not the type that usually shops at Macy's, but they had a killer deal on a set of pans (which we desperately needed at home), so I placed an order online and drove down here to pick them up on the way home from work. First of all, Macy's has a good online ordering and notification system. They send you a confirmation email for your order, then a followup email of when your stuff will be ready to be picked up. Included in this email are instructions on where to go once you get to the store. I walked in, told them I was here for a pickup, they pointed me to a desk to go to, went in the back and got my pans, and I was on my way. The 2 ladies I dealt with were very nice and friendly and my total time in the store was only around 10 minutes. I would not hesitate to something online again and pick it up here at Arrowhead. The whole transaction was smooth as could be and I got 2 new pans for a killer price. Score! read more

I was shopping for a dress for my daughter's wedding and came across one on the clearance rack for 50% off which I fell in love with! Unfortunately, it was on clearance because the dress was damaged on the top and with the sheer material, I didn't feel it could be repaired. I couldn't find another so checked the website to see if they had one available there which they did! It was full price, $279 but it was worth it to me since I loved the dress so much! I surprisingly received the dress a few days later and noticed it was from the store where I had tried it on...Yep, they covered the clearance sticker with a plain white sticker (I can see the clearance sticker still) and charged me full price and sent me the damaged dress from that store! I am livid and can't believe they did this! I wish I could give negative stars, that's horrendous customer service! read more

Do not order furniture or anything online from Macy's. Extremely rude customer service. Ordered furniture in May and still have not received full order. Date keeps getting extended. Then one part of the order gets delivered and we paid for white glove delivery. They drop it in our door. Put together pieces wrong and manager said that's white glove. Worse experience ever. In store, you have to go to each section to check out like bedding cant check you out with clothes. Order on line, get texted at 3 a.m., telling you it's shipped. The national customer service, whether calling 800# or online chat, is a waste of time and big circular logic insane loop. Though a relatively new shopper to Macys Im done. Ordered sectional from Macys (on-line) since I could not find anything I liked in local stores, or places like Wayfair or Overstock; they were either too big or just hideously ugly with rockers, recliners, cup holders, vibrators etc. attached. This one was beautiful, in a wonderful grey fabric and would fit in with either contemporary or traditional furniture. Delivery took just a month and they cheerfully took a section back when it was obvious that it was just a bit too long for the space. Price was LOWER than the on-line sites mentioned above. Returns in store are absolutely annoying! Why have a return customer service when if it's for perfume or shoes you have to take it to that department. It makes absolutely no sense. How do you track returns from so many departments. The customer service return desk always will have incompetent people just fooling around or making conversations that are not work related or professional. Then you go to the department to make the return and you aren't greeted and the employee for the finish line said absolutely nothing. He was hiding behind a door and came out said not one word. I asked for return and he gave me a receipt. This has been bar far the worst experience ever. I can't believe what Macy's has become. So sad. Will not return in person ever again! read more

Very frustrating experience at this store. No associates to be seen when you need to check out. The lady at the Mac counter kept wasting time with a customer wasn't interested to purchase but was just wasting her time. Just gave up after going there 3 times and trying to get her attention. Back in the day, Macy's was an exciting destination. Any more, though, well... no, it's not. I had a wedding shower to go to. The bride and groom were registered at Macy's and Target. I got an 11 page printout at Target, which included prices AND PHOTOS of all the registry gifts and even let me know which items were already purchased, which were not in stock and which were only available online. Everything I needed to know. I went to Macy's and found their registry computer, and it spat out a pink cash register tape like a receipt, and it only had the prices of the registered gifts. No photos. Just a long piece of pink paper, like the store was sticking its tongue out at me. Yes, it gets worse. Were you expecting the store to gift wrap your gift for the soon-to-be newlyweds? Nope! "We're going green and prefer no gift wrap on gifts shipped from Macy's. Thank you!" No Macy's, thank YOU for going chintzy and cheap on us and trying to tell us you're actually helping us. People don't like to send or receive gifts that are un-festive and packed in an industrial and impersonal fashion. It just makes it ugly and it shows that the sender, or the store, just doesn't care. So I looked at the baby clothes that were on sale. Did I buy any? No. Even on sale, the baby clothes are just too much money. Not worth it. I'll go to Carter's Babies and Kids. Macy's still carries some very nice name brands, but I don't feel like I'm missing out by shopping elsewhere. read more

I LOVE THIS MACY'S! Sandi and Cheryl are so incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. They truly customize your experience with Macy's to a whole different level. I've been to most of the Macy's in the valley but I always seem to come back to the Glendale one because of Sandi and Cheryl's amazing customer service attentiveness. I really don't have enough good things to say about them and the department store! So, I walk in with a Christmas present from somebody out of town that hasn't seen me in a year and I've added some Covid poundage. I proceed to hand the Customer service rep the item, which still has the clearly identified tag covered in Macy's...because this once proud company still thinks their name carries weight. This person then feels that Macy's position should be to tell a customer that has entered their establishment to buy clothes that fit...that they CAN'T do something. I am so sick and tired of businesses thinking they are bigger than their experience they provide shoppers. You provide a service that I can do just fine from the comfort of my sofa without getting crapped on by policies that say you can't do something. Start by saying what you can do, give options, but stop saying what you CAN'T do. I left the item and told them I can't shop here and won't wear anything from here...it won't fit and I won't buy from Macy's ever again. I had every intention of replacing my wardrobe with a new fat boy wardrobe. There is a reason your name once known for service and quality has you going under, sinking faster than the titanic. I visited the MAC counter on NYE to have my makeup done, and I ended up doing half of the work myself... The entire experience was a total disappointment. The girl doing my make chose a foundation 4 shades lighter than my skin, so we had to go back an re-do it. My eyebrows were drawn in really heavy and uneven. My lipstick was extra crooked. I an addition to all of these fails, she got make up all over my shirt, and when I asked if there was a smock or paper towel and she had nothing... So I ended up sitting in her chair, lining my lips and fixing my own face because she had absolutely no clue what she was doing. read more

Customer service my husband and I received was the worst .(cologne section) . Ladies wouldn't even acknowledge us , when asking them for help they wouldn't even look at us and were so rude . Instead of sliding the papers that we asked them to spray with cologne samples they would just throw them onto the counter . We didn't think much of it the first time because of the social distancing rule but the more "customer service " we received we knew they didn't care to help or even be kind for that matter.
