I'll be generous with my review. I normally don't engage large departments stores for shopping adventures because the scale, crowds, and lack of cashiers all make my shopping experiences extremely uncomfortable. I don't have time for lousy retail service. Plus, this particular location has some of the most suspicious looking characters ever. I mean seriously suspect. I clutch my invisible white pearls and purse every time as a precaution. Anyone can find things here, and the selection is decent. At times, it feels like a long treasure hunt. But i rarely find something that i like where the prices are reasonable. By the time i find something, i am already exhausted from all the distractions. If one comes in during a sale, forget it because its a mad zoo house up in here. Its a zoo on a regular day, so one can only imagine. I would still suggest this place because they do carry a wide variety and selection of name brand items. I find stuff on occasion and the physical retail stores really need consumer support. Check this place and fingers crossed one finds a bargain. I am sending myself and you positive vibes. Word of advice: Steer clear of shoppers that look SUSPECT! read more

There is a good selection of home goods at this store but the service is hit or miss. On a recent visit, there were two register stations opened with one cashier at each station. Each station had a long line that was moving at a snail's pace, partly due to "first time" shoppers who wanted to know and dispute the price of each item they wanted to purchase. The cashier's line is not for price check, people! There were two or three employees mingling and chatting at a third register station that had no lines. When a customer approached that station, the employees quickly said that this station was for online pick up only. But one would think that they help customers with store purchases as they were standing idle. Nope! When a customer on the long line, who was growing increasingly inpatient and pissed at the pck of basic customer service, went to approach them, those three employees scattered like cockroaches when they saw her coming! There was a fourth employee (wannabe manager) who was walking around the sales floor acting "busy" but certainly oblivious to the long lines and not helpful at all. read more

Macys is a one stop shop for pretty much all things you need except for groceries. I have purchased bedroom furniture, kitchen appliances, jewelry, shoes, clothes. I even visit their beauty counters, e.g. Clinique, Benefit, MAC, Kiehls and fragances for service. Lately, I go to Benefit to get my eyebrows done - visit either Marjorie or Dana (they are great!). Pretty much all the ladies at the Clinique counter are helpful. The fragrance department is overwhelming, but let's all be understanding that that is their job - they push products in hopes of a sale. The shoe department is a long wait. As you can tell, customer service is not the best as it varies per department and vendor. The prices at Macys is competitive to other stores and sometimes you can utilize the Macys credit card for a % off and/or use one of their coupons. Moral, carry the card or apply but pay it off quickly as the APR is high. Great company. Amazing selection. Okay customer service. Average prices. read more

I whole-heartedly agree with the 1 and 2 star ratings. Customer service is very poor!!! Associates are very rude!!! I was standing at a register and I asked the associate if she was open. She looked up at me as if she wanted to punch me in the face and yelled..."I'M CLOSED". The woman behind me could not believe it either. Forget about complaining to mnagement, they are the same. It's like no one wants to work there and it shows in their attitude. Instead of Macys pouring all their $ in renovating their 34th St. flagship store, they need to also concentrate on this one, especially with their employees! Store is also a mess. Was literally stepping on clothes. One table had men's shirts piled on it, sizes/prices all mixed up. Very budget basement feel. I will not shop here again! Shopping should not be so stressful and loaded with so much drama. Better way and places for me to spend my $! read more

Sales people are dishonest regarding their "worry no more" plan. Spent close to 10k on furniture (including a 2k+ mattress) and was sold on their "worry no more" plan however, their fine print was written on the receipt and not in the brochure. When one of their protection covers for a mattress that was covered was found torn, and I called in about it, they wanted to know when it was torn. When I responded that I did not know since I do not change the bed sheets that cover the protection cover all that often, I said it could have been a month or shorter or longer, they refused to send a new protection cover. Most people have better things to do than inspect their mattress protection cover on a regular basis... Will never shop at Macy's again. read more

This will be simple and straight to the point review. Great deals especially if you enable star dollars. Some departments are helpful, which is very little. Horrible customer service Hidden deals in the Last Act Section. Advice to Shoppers: Buy online and pick up Advice to Macy's: The reason why you have low numbers on sales, because of the customer service went south to the south pole. How to fix the problem: Train all employees properly to fix the issue. Especially, if they are working onsite. It is crazy that Macy's customer service representatives on the phones have outstanding skills vs what find in the stores. That is is Crazy!!! You only get 3 stars from me because of the deals I found, but nothing else. read more

Macys.com will soon be out of business. Nov11th I placed an order for men's shirts. The email order confirmation showed they were shipping it to an incorrect address that I definitely did not enter. They could not cancel the order instead they had to ship it and then have UPS return it to themselves. Then they did not refund me even they checked in the return. Then they charged me an additional $27 on Nov 13 for some unknown reason. I made 1 phone call per week for 4 weeks and still haven't received my refund. read more

I was just at this Macy's location today where I needed to make a quick purchase of a single sweater at opening time. It should have been a non event. I went up to the cashier by the men's dept and asked to pay. He was not ready and apparently still setting up. Then he was rude to the point where I went out of my way to another cashier who was open and processed my purchase. If the store is open then ALL of the cashiers should be open and ready and treat the customer with RESPECT! read more

Great stop but I tell you no one is around to help you - does not matter how one needs help. The only help I could get was going to the cashier. This is a great stop but maybe need more workers. I appreciate the clean environment and the friendliness of the staff if you can find them at least to talk to. There was a nice pair of boots that I like but they did not have my fit. They were nice about it. I would recommend more workers. read more

I used to love to shop Macy's BUT Macy's refuses to pay workers a standard living wage that supports a middle class life. Do not shop Macy's until they promise all construction work done at their LIC Headquarter's will be built with responsible contractors that pay a fair days wage for a fair days work! #MacysSucks #NastyMacys #ShameOnMacys #BoycottMacys #wagetheft #WageFraud #CorporateGreedImpactsMe MacysSucks.org read more

Nasty lady ask me to leave while I was shoppe. She want to take a picture at the Calvin Klein men couter located at the basement of Macy's mall. I believe she work for either Macy's or Calvin Klein. Unbelievable human being, you can ask people to pardon you but you don't have the right to ask people to leave. I think unless Macy's or Calvin Klein want to stop their business. If not they should curb their employee ethic. read more

The finish line employees in the store are completely unprofessional. The black guy with the dreadlocks is standing with a co-worker cursing left and right complaining about management. Motherf*cker, bullsh*t, di*khead, f*ck it, f*ck this sh*t.. lovely for the families shopping here. I said something to him but he ignored my warning that customers could hear him. read more

After a total of 5 hour wasted on line trying to figure out where my order is I now realized that the problem is that the customer service is based in the Philippine and there is a languages barrier .
