Beautiful boutique, highly recommended! Great assortment of clothes and jewelry. European style, designer items. read more

I love and adore Fox's! However .... Should you ever find yourself having an issue with a product (namely Jimmy Crystal reading glasses) they're pretty much hands off in the customer service dept. The standard answer from a 'young' associate is 'we are NOT optometrists! Duhhhhh! As calm as I normally am, I just lost it. Seems like a bit of training may be in order. Fortunately, Jimmy Crystal, the company, happens to be VERY accommodating and has offered to replace the missing crystals. Thank you Jimmy Crystal. I will most likely buy additional specs at a different location. PS this 2 star review pertains ONLY to this situation!! read more

The lady at the store keeps telling that everything is made in Italy, i don't believe. This linen was dyed maybe in china. Prices are cheap, i guess this is why. I had to rinse this blouse 15 times and still water was blue , even synthrapol did not help much. read more

Fox's Designer - Made in China not Italy. - Women's Clothing Near Me - Forest Hills, New York

A trendy yet very crammed boutique in Forest Hills's commercial street. Fox's houses two levels of clothing. Associates are scattered among the floor in blending with patrons thereby making it difficult for assistance. Clothing appear to be limited with size but become fossil as trends easily fade in and out from last season at discounted prices. Point blank it is either a hit or miss when you sift through the racks as it did not impress me with the price nor style. Patience and time are key factors to prevent agita as shopping should not be a grinding tortured task. I did not feel like a fox with their clothes. read more

I love Fox's. Great jewelry and clothing. The jewelry is especially fun and different than other jewelry I've bought. I get compliments on them all the time. read more

This is one of my favorite Fox's locations. The staff are very helpful. It is a hit or miss type of place. I do not always walk out making a purchase. I also am not the hugest fan of the dressing rooms without a door. read more

The two women that were working behind the counter today on Mother's Day there attitudes were just disgusting . I don't know how they even have jobs with such terrible customer service . My mother bought me a bracelet earlier and i ended up not liking it so after brunch on Austin street we went back to exchange it . And the short lady behind the counter made such a big deal about the tag being off , it was a present and it was removed . I asked her can you just make a new tag , tags do fall off . She goes omg and huffing and puffing and starts speaking in another language to a tall women with short hair . The taller women comes over and looks at it like she never seen it before , yet there's like three more on the shelf. We we're literally making an exchange for a different item same price . Not a hello , thank you, have a nice day nothing but scolding us from removing a tag from an item bought two hours earlier. I would never go back . read more

Unfriendly vibe. Disorganized. Some cute clothes but every time I walk in there I don't want to buy anything because I feel like I'm not welcomed. Only the "flashy" looking customers that are their nationality get attention. read more

This is a little gem in the heart of Forest Hill. It is one of my favorite boutiques, shop there on a regular basis. The clothing is first class Italian made as well as the custome made semiprecious jewerly at prices that can't be beat. Like shopping at Fox's. The sales crew are always ready to help you with your purchase. Good customer service is always key the service business read more

went shopping there on a very quiet day & when I went to make my purchase the two sales associates were too busy talking & whispering to answer my questions... very very rude. read more

Walking into this place is like starting a serious operation. You can't just swing by, glance through and leave if you don't see anything. Fox's requires a commitment. To find anything, you need the patience, attention, focus and tenacity to rifle through every single rack and fight off the wealthy, accented, and heavily perfumed women of the lovely Forest Hills. Don't expect what you "kinda liked" to be there next time, their inventory doesn't stick around long. All in all, it really is a hit or miss and if you don't find anything you liked in the store, there's a good chance you blew an entire afternoon looking through, but it's worth a shot if you're po' folk like myself- you can find some pretty great deals on big name brands (I grabbed a pair of seven jeans for $21 and an elie tahari skirt for $29 last week) Things to know before visiting: 1) It's disorganized. No rack is labeled as a specific size or type of clothing, it's usually sorted (kind of) by brand, but a 14 year old boy's closet makes more sense than this place. 2) the dressing room has no actual privacy- no curtains, no doors, it's more like a gym locker room than anything (brace yourself for the bargain-hungry old ladies). 3) If an associate asks if you'd like a fitting room started, consider just going and trying things on at that moment. Because of the factor listed in #3, everyone in the fitting room can go through and/or take your potential gems. "Starting a fitting room" literally just means the associate wraps a HOLD tag around the hangers and leaves them in the locker room. 4) the return policy is unworn items with tags within three days. read more

It's always interesting going through their racks- sometimes you score so it's worth the hunt. They've a good selection of winter wear, costume jewelry and handbags to look through, too. I wish the selection here was as good as their Long Island locations. Forest Hills is full of professional women like me, who prefer to shop locally. read more

Fox's is a nice place to go for trendy little outfits. It's located on Austin Street in the middle of many stores, boutiques and other shops. They have the walls packed with items. I went looking for a top to go with a pair of pants for a church event I was attending. I found a Michael Kors top that was $21 dollars. Pretty good! It was marked down from $78. The store does have a wide variety so you do have to be prepared to look around. They attempt to organize somewhat by the color of the items. I rang out my purchase with no problem. At this time they do have credit card services. I was able to use my debit card with no problem. The staff could have been a bit friendlier and wiling to help locate items. The security guard greeted us coming in and said goodbye when leaving. The employees should try to be more like her. I will be back and definitely keep Fox's in mind for other special shopping occasions. read more

This place is full of last season's clothing at discounted prices. While they try to compare themselves to TJMaxx, the prices are often much higher. I saw dresses in this place in the near $200 price range. That said, they have some cute stuff and it is discounted. But they don't take credit cards which I think shows extremely poor customer service. I won't be shopping there until they change this policy. read more

Such a unique boutique in Forest Hills with new daily shipments! I love how you can find pretty much anything from loungewear to night out.

I love love this place. They keep all the latest European style outfits. Whenever I come to visit my girlfriend from CLT I make sure I take atleast one visit & one always find something to pick from here in less than 15 mins. read more

Nice clothes-if u get lucky. Sometimes the selection is amazing-want it all, other times it's just a wide variety of Black shirts and pants. You have to take time and search to find something you'd like. 3 days refund policy. read more

I was in the store approximately a month ago looking for an Evening bag to match my dress for an upcoming wedding I could not find the right match, but the store manager Susie said that she would call me if they got something in that might work. I was shocked to receive a voicemail now (about a month later ) from Susie stating that she hadn't forgotten me and had received a bag that she thought would be perfect. I was even more shocked when I called to thank her and discovered that she had actually called me on her day off. A huge Thank You to the Fox's staff for their super service! read more

Sale are good, and the selection is very nice. Though items mostly are in small sizes and a fair amount of petit clothing which is good if you are petit and small, though I am not. Seems like they prefer for older professionals to shop here as Store employees seemed rather cranky , and the security guard was watching my every move since I was one if the few under 50. read more

This store is in Forest Hills NY. I go in about once a week and almost always find something. Last year I bought a current season Cole Haan down coat I paid $89 while dept stores were charging over $300 for the exact coat. I recently bought a $695 Badgley Mischka light coat for just under $100and a $495 BM jacket for $89 and a $79 Nanette Lepore cultural blend blouse for $16. They also offer great jewelry for $29 or less. Some of the merchandise isn't high quality but far better than an H&M or Zara. They have lots of club clothes but with patience and a knowledge of fabrics, etc you can find some great deals on nicer items. The staff isn't helpful and on par with an H&M which I won't shop at anymore. They aren't rude but are disinterested and apathetic. They should also hang some curtains on their dressing rooms for some privacy. I have left clothing in the nooks at Fox because I didn't feel like stripping down for all to see - esp since everyone has cameras on their cell phones. They really need to work on their staff. They act like they are being held as hostages rather than providing a service. Many of the Forest Hills shops have terrible staff. Some, not Fox, don't even turn on the air conditioning on 90deg days. I won't shop at a store I'm uncomfortable in. Many of these have closed due to their own incompetence or absentee owners. I see this with sales associates all over NYC - even at Saks and higher end stores. There's a reason why people, who once liked shopping, are opting to buy online. Hedge funds, who own many of the stores, need to wake up. read more

Unfriendly vibe. Nice designer wear but junky, cheap fabrics. Amazing, unique looks but I can not move. It is way too crowded for my taste.

The staff are always really friendly. I love going here - one of my favorite stores. Be warned if you are going for your first time - sometimes you will find amazing items, other times you'll walk out empty handed, but it is always worth a visit! read more

In spite of often cute windows displays, the inside of this store is crammed with last-last seasons rejects of your typical mall brands - ck, mk, dk etc. In addition they sell really trashy, poor quality rags made in Italy, which are usually found at Italian flea markets, and fall apart after one season. But if you don't mind wasting your time bargain hunting, once in a blue moon, you might find a deeply discounted item of good quality and style. Don't count on a sale price to be honored by really nasty cashiers. , who will treat you like a criminal if you have the nerve to even suggest they honor the sale markdown advertised outside the store front. They take it as personal insult, as if the difference is coming out directly out of their pockets. You are lucky if the item is marked with a sale price. If not, and the sign says "20% off winter coats", they will lie to your face and say that the heavy car coat you want to buy is really a light spring jacket and refuse a discount. Most of the items are not deeply discounted, and prices are much higher than the same items @ marshals and other discount stores. The only friendly people are the security guards. The sale associates pay no attention unless you are an overdressed heavily perfumed former Uzbekistan lady with deep pockets full of cash. Yes cash is the payment method here, NO credit cards. Between very poor customer service and only 3 - three - days return policy, be especially careful when choosing to shop there. Shopping @ Fox's is unpleasant most of the time. read more

If you are shy about dressing in front of people this place is not for you. I felt like I was back in HS shopping with friends on the ave going into this dressing room. There is one curtain to get into the dressing room and these open dressing rooms where you change yourself in front of other customers trying on as well. There I am trying on my clothes (what choice did I have) mid putting on the dress I was trying on I was interrupted by this woman who asked me to please zip the back of her dress. The woman was really sweet but still it was a bit awkward to have this complete stranger see me half naked asking me to help her with her clothing. They do have cute stuff from major brands i.e. Michael Kors, Calvin Klein etc however their items are definitely last season or discontinued stuff. This place is hit or miss for me, I've gone in a dozen times because on the outside I'm like they have some cute stuff, then I go inside and I never end up walking out with anything. Price wise they do vary, you can find dresses for as little as $29 up to $200. read more

Decent clothes but you have to really search for them, and if your not sure about an outfit, DON'T BUY IT!!! Because their ridiculous return policy lasts only 3 days. read more

If you want to shop at a place where the manager will insult you then this is the place! My mom received an invitation to shop and have a light breakfast there for Mother's Day. She had breakfast early and then went to work out at her health club near Fox's. She stopped in to shop afterwards and decided she wasn't hungry but would take a couple mini bagels home for her lunch. The manager actually said to her that breakfast was only for customers who shop there and had to be eaten in the store! My mom, being the sweet person she is, still shopped and bought a jacket there. To me shopping should be enjoyable not stressful. That's why I shop at Nordstrom's. If I owned this store, this woman would be fired for talking to a customer this way. If you don't mind getting insulted in a store that invites you to an event, take your chances. Maybe you'll find something here! read more

I am delighted to write this review about Fox's in Forest Hills, Queens! I felt compelled to shout out the praises of Suzanne Kubasek, the most incredible manager of any store I have ever frequented!!! She is kind, patient, helpful, professional and has such a genuine commitment to satisfying her customers, it makes shopping here a sheer joy!! Thank you Suzy for always putting your customers needs first and for being one of the loveliest human beings I have ever met!! See you soon! Can't wait to buy more necklaces!! :-) read more

You can find some really nice outfits and costume jewelry here. The place is usually very crowded and the dressing rooms do not have doors. Not a place for a shy person that minds being seen in their g string by strangers.
