Hi Friends and welcome to Main Street Flushing USA! My Wifey is Sooo Happy the warmer weather has arrived. The first day over 70°.. and she's out on the town shopping. My wife loves the younger looking fashions and Rainbow has many of the cute styles she prefers. Wifey likes to first browse in their outside 5 and $7 clearance racks she found a really stylish little yellow polka-dot halter for the nice weather. There are just so many thousands of pieces of clothing consisting of every style and color in this small space. Inside the store looks as vividly colorful.. as a rainbow. BIG Jim has lost a little weight recently, but it was really tough for me to be able to squeeze through their closely spaced isles. if there was someone shopping I just couldn't even get through I would have to look at something else. Little 5 foot nothing.. Wifey also had some issues getting through the aisles without hitting the racks. I don't remember it being so tight in here when we were here last. There were a gazillion new styles of sandals in the rear shoe department and wife took off like a shot. There's a certain style that she liked with a sparkle platform bottom. But then all of a sudden drops of water started to hit us in the head and on our clothing. looking up I was surprised to see there were no tiles in some areas of the ceiling. These ceiling tiles were really nasty you did not want this water dripping on you. Looking at the floor I could see puddles of water with no caution cones or even catch basins as the water was dripping every second from several spots. it was difficult to find someone to inform as there was no one behind the desk. after several minutes I located an employee to inform who brushed it off like it was absolutely nothing. No apologies, no caution cones, Oops... As one of these nasty drops of water did hit me in the head, I needed to go home and shower immediately. I told wifey to hold up the shopping for a little while, as I wanted to get this nasty stuff off of me. I was kind of turned off by the way the employee handled the issue. I'm thinking how many of pieces of clothing have this nasty water dried up into it and you'd never now. Ownership really needs to fix this issue.of open ceilings with disgusting water dripping on their clients. I don't understand why this issue is permitted to persist for so long. Looking at some other yelpers reviews I can see this has been like this for a while. Perhaps this review will prompt ownership to fix this facility. Hazardous place to shop. I am surprised there is no lawsuit yet. 1. Less than 1 feet in between each rack to shop. My shoulder bumped into a few metal racks already going in between racks to look for a size. For children who are shopping with their parents, they would have definitely hit their head on the metal rack already. 2. Employees scream at you, especially the black lady who is the manager of the store. She had no manners and is very rude to asian customers. 3. There is a hole on the ceiling that is dripping water which almost called me to slip. Where is the caution sign? What if I slipped? Is rainbow ready for a lawsuit in their hands for something they could have prevented? 4. There are no fitting rooms and there are no mirrors anywhere. You have to go behind the cash register to see yourself if you try on shoes. They covered each mirror with shoes and a poster. Absolutely the worse place to shop. Who is running this place? Never felt so disrespected in my life. Upon walking into the store, one of the workers stared at us the entire 5 minutes we were there. It definitely was not the 'I wonder what this customer may be looking for' as this was later confirmed when she rudely walked right in between my godmother and I and said 'I need to check on these clothes'. This store is relatively large, and this was the one rack she needed to check after having watched us for 5 mins? It might have been my race, the coronavirus scare, or something else...but this store is in a predominantly Chinese neighborhood. Show some respect, and maybe more customers will want to shop here. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I've honestly never felt so disrespected as a customer before I walked in here. Upon walking in, no "hello", no "how are you". Just a "please check your bag in". They had some cheap looking shelves where she actually expected people to leave their bag there while they shop! What in the world! There are other ways to prevent shoplifting that doesn't include being rude, presumptuous, and absolutely inconsiderate to the customer. I will never walk in here again. Disgusting. read more

What a horrible place. Cheap and filthy. You can't even try the clothes on and when you ask, the workers look at you with hate. They should call this place stinky's . The truth is they sell dollar clothes for $20, which means choppers are paying $19 more than other people online to shop with route sales people read more

The employees are awful!!! I was in the store today. There was a customer return a pair of sandals. The customer said the strap was broken when she tried to walk out with it from her house. The employee did not want the customer to return the shoes because the employee believes the strap was broken by the customer. The customer said why she want to broken a shoes that she brought it. Later the employee said the bottom is dark they don't return a used shoes. The customer said of course she worn it otherwise how could she know the strap will broken and the shoes was in defective condition. It just so happens I am looking a shoes at that store that has dark bottom that they are selling! ! Anyway, there was two employees and another employees called the customer "bit*h" in other language in front of that customer. Apparently, the customer doesn't understand that language. read more

Some styles are really cute and the price is pretty good since they're cheap material! The issue I have is the customer service. They are really rude and the two days I came in a row, the employees acted so pissy that it was uncomfortable to be there. I really don't care about employees "pissed" look because they're humans and can have an off day. The problem was when I asked for the changing room and they're like "No we don't have one" with a rude attitude. Fine whatever. Then a lady went to look for the fitting room in the back (that's where the store before them had the fitting room) and the girl employee just yells at her saying "No we don't have a fitting room. 7days to exchange and return!" She could've been nicer about it. I used to work in retail so I always was kind to customers, especially older ones. Also it's way too crowded. I fit because I'm not a big person, but what if a big person did want to shop? And they have space to move more back. I've been to other rainbows and they're way better than this one. This store was the most frustrating place to shop. Not only are all the isles packed to where there is a one foot space between racks but the clothes aren't worth the hassle getting around. There's no fitting room and sizing is limited because they don't have a plus size like the other Rainbows while their sizing runs small. An employee also took it upon themselves to argue with a customer at the top of his lungs while another employee looked on. When the customer left there was laughter and commentary about how customers shouldn't be spoken to that way and then eye rolls. I bought two things out of desperation for work, and I am returning them because their sizing is wayyyy off. This place won't last. read more
