Made a stop at famous footwear in flushing mostly to browse while cuz was doing some biz a few stores down but eventually the browsing turned into buying 2 pairs of sneakers , one casual and one sporty for a combined total of 140 bucks including discount. Good selection of name brands and some brands I am not too familiar with .Sales gal was helpful and let me roam and browse freely till I needed her and the place is well stocked and organized with footwear for ladies , gents and kiddies along with accessories and sports apparel.. plenty of variety to choose from and they carry all the latest styles that the tik tok experts who dwell in there parents basement advise you to buy . I have been to more then a few famous footwear store since they started out and I never been disappointed by their products and this flushing location continues the trend .4 stars on my yelp meter . read more

Good selection of popular brands like Converse, Nike, Adidas, Underarmour but these were not really discounted. Other lesser known brands were Associates were friendly! Limited selection of sizes which they will accommodate by having it ordered online. BUT the process they had me go through was ridiculous. I did not like the lady in the front register. Very cold and not apologetic that I had to wait on the line to be informed that I had to get someone from the floor to confirm the number of the shoes and then get back on the long line to then have her order the shoes. Associate number 213716... famous footwear should really train you better to service customers to be in the front register. Waste my time for no reason. Terrible customer service. read more

I really really want to write a positive review because of the lovely cashier (will get to that in a moment) but sadly, the rest of the staff ruined it for me. I walked in, tagging along with my fiancé while he shopped for some work boots. I was standing right in front of a pair of boots looking for my size, and a girl pushes me just so she can pass between me and the wall of shoes. I looked at her and she was an employee! I can understand pushing maybe if I was in the way, but I absolutely wasn't, and that ruined the whole trip for me and I'm a little hesitant to go back. I'll (grudgingly) deal with pushing from strangers, but not employees when I'm about to spend hundreds of dollars at your store. HowEVER, my boyfriend did find a pair of work boots for upwards of $140-something, and I realized my store card wasn't valid anymore. The cashier opened a new one for me right away, no nonsense, and saved us $10. I know that's such a small thing and there's probably some quota employees have to make anyway, but she went out of her way and did it with a smile, so thank you kind cashier!!! read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!!! I will never be shopping here again!!! I came in here hoping to give famous footwear a chance at this location and one of the sales associate there was beyond rude!!! I was trying on only one pair of shoes and my hands where full so I decided to temporarily leave the box on the shelf while I was trying on the shoes and this African American male sales associate with the glasses came up to me and said oh you can't be leaving the boxes like this you can't be making the store all messed up like this. I was beyond pissed off because as I am also a sales associate in another shoe warehouse it's your job to help customers and clean up!!! I would know that you most certainly were not suppose to be rude to customers. I didn't even make a mess, all I did was temporarily put the box on the shelf while I tried on the shoes and like I said as I am also a sales associate in a shoe warehouse I know the hardships in cleaning up hundreds of shoes people try on and just make a mess so I always put it back in their original spot the way I got them. And there were other customers making more mess around me and he chose to be a prick to me over a shoe I was trying on and was going to put back. A few weeks ago I was at the Skyview Flushing, NY location (my first time at your stores) and I was very interested in a water shoe/sneaker and required help locating my size and color. I asked a young Asian lady if she could assist me and she directed me to another girl in that section. This other girl pretty much rolled her eyes and pretended to look for my size for half a second and just said that they didn't have anymore in my size and color. Then just turned her back and stood in front of me and continued to sing as loud as she could and danced while fixing the boxes. I was just stunned and so disgusted by her attitude I took two steps to the left and just looked for my size on my own. When I did find my size I was trying them on and she again came in front of me to fix the boxes directly in front of me and she was still dancing and singing as loud as she could. I just took the sneaker off and put them back where I found them. She then looks over and says "oh what size were you looking for?" I told her I found them right there and I simply was so angry at that point that I didn't even want the sneaker anymore and I left the store without purchasing my sneakers. This first impression of this store was not a very nice one and I do not plan on shopping at this location in the future. read more

Just like Ella , I came into this store to browse around and as i was standing there just seeing which direcrion to take , i was shoved very hard, mind you i was holding my 3 year old daughter. When i said "excuse you" I noticed it was an employee and instead of saying im sorry she said "well your not the one whose pregnant" She did not look pregnant but even so if she was why would she push into me harming her baby and even so, what gives her the right to push people because she is pregnant. As mentioned by Ella this ruined my experience for me and I was going in to do alot of winter boot shopping for my daughter,husband and myself. I ended up going elsewhere to shop and will never go there again. Any chance i get i tell and will tell people not to go here, as I am telling you now . Really bad costumer service and the staff there are mad rude!

Would've liked to give this store a higher rate but the so called manager had a very disgusting attitude towards all of the customers she shoved my mother out of the way to "fix some shoe boxes" she even made fun of two asian ladies saying that they couldn't understand what she was saying to them and I was told I was not the only one who complained about her when I asked the cashier who the manager was. This is a good store but the fact that its runned by her makes me not want to come back. read more
