The shoes here are crazy cheap and not the best quality, but I personally will not spend a lot of…read moremoney on flats because I know they won't last me more than 2-3 months since I apparently am a very heavy stepper, put shoes through hell as I gallivant across New York City's concrete jungle sidewalks and enjoy being able to just buy new shoes to match an outfit or to replace old ones and not have to break the bank to do it. Occasionally you might find a style that IS really overpriced for the quality provided by Fabco, but if that happens, just set the shoe down and come back in a week - I assure you it'll be on sale then OR you'll find a style you prefer more since they seem to have new shoes in stock all the time. Seriously, ALL THE TIME. Another thing that makes me give Fabco some kudos is that they REALLY cater to those of us that are a part of the "small footed community". I mean they have an ENTIRE SHELF DEDICATED TO WOMEN'S SIZES 3,4,5 and YES, half-sizes are included and YES they also have shoes that are comfortable if you also have wide stupid feet. I have size 3.5 and size 4.5 flats from here that don't look like reject kids shoes but are actually fashion forward women's styles. I also have size 4 pumps from here that have "rawr" heels on em'. YES. Thank you Fabco for being in my hood and catering to women who like to change it up and have midget feet. I'm rating 4 stars instead of 5 because the shoe quality here is sometimes questionable, but then again - you get what you pay for and I don't come here to find quality - I come to find reasonably priced comfort for the summer months. Wintertime gets pricier shoes because boots are boots and other shoes (*glares at summer flats*) have to get the back seat when it comes to my money :).

They still give good service. They bring you the shoe that you ask for and they don't crowd you. In my days, we brought multiple shoes JUST IN CASE. There is not a lot of suggestive selling. They do have good shoes that are comfortable and not costly so that you can afford to buy 2 pairs. They do have discounts available on some shoes and when buy you can sign up for the friends and family and get a great discount off your entire order. They sales staff showed patience and discipline, which is a fine quality for sales. Jason S. Was not in the store, he's the one that trained me and promoted me to manager. I see sandals that I want to purchase next time around.

We turned over the shoe for the price and they were $150. The sales employees were really nice and keeping busy cleaning the store and at the register. The place didn't have any customers. The classic style shoe that I like never goes on sale. I always convince myself that I don't need them anyway. It was a nice walk down memory lane. The shoe has been around since 1950. I'm a fan and I'm sure I will reconsider when I need more boots.

From my very first visit, to today, the staff is, and has always been cordial, courteous, professional and respectful to all their customers. Warren, Tony, Eugene, Henry and the rest of the past, and present crew, serve our community with their individual and collective golden hearts, regularly. There is such an abundant variety of clothes for work, an amazing variety of casual clothing, as well as shoes, boots, jackets, bags, for different purposes in different sizes, gloves, underwear, socks, wallets, utility items and other gear to choose from. The prices are very reasonable and the Timberland boots I just purchased, having bought them here before, are so comfortable that I plan on going to get a backup pair on my next payday! I decided to go with the wide version and my feet are thanking me profusely! Having previously purchased all of the above mentioned items over the years, I gladly support this local small business. This Brown's Army & Navy Store is Big on Quality, as well as Excellent Customer Care Specialty!
