Fashion City pulled a Jackson Diner and, in true dramatic fashion, closed down just to make a comeback across the street. Bold move, honestly. Now, let's talk about the goods - they've got an ocean of $1.99 earrings that are fun to sift through if you enjoy a little treasure hunt. Just don't expect them to last longer than the trend itself, because, let's be real, these pieces are more "fashion" than function. But hey, for under two bucks, why not? They've also got some pricier items if you're feeling fancy, and the store is a paradise for Korean fashion lovers. You'll find everything from trendy clothes and accessories to socks, wallets, and jewelry - basically all the stuff that makes you feel like you walked out of a K-drama (or at least tried). I'm honestly baffled by the negative rating because it's really not thattttt bad. The place is fun, affordable, and they even wrap your purchases like a gift, which is always a nice touch. If you're looking for quality that will last a lifetime, maybe this isn't your stop, but if you want to feel cute for a season, it's a solid place to pop by. 4 stars out of 5. read more

This store is hit or miss. I've gotten a $5 shirt here before which was a good deal except I realized later there was a hole in it. I've also gotten some cute hair accessories, but there are pricey compared to the clothes they sell. You definitely need to go through and have time to browse. read more

Fashion city Pretty much known as korean clothing store but not just clothing. They sell skin care products, iphone & galaxy cases. Screen protectors, jewelries, hairbands, caps and etc. I used to come here at least 4 times in a week to get clothes, but I have stopped since I moved. All the workers was pretty nice whenever I have stopped by so with the customer service i had no problem. They do have fitting room but I believe there is a limit you could bring to the fitting room. Make sure before you buy shirts, skirts jackets from there check if their is no rip because I brought a jacket from there and there was an hole. Clothing stuff you have to purchase upstair, any jewelry, phone cases you have to purchase downstair. Phone cases to jewelry section is tidy when it's busy it's really hard to walk by and the workers are like AFTER YOU if you are holding stuff on your hand. Pretty good experience with them and whenever I'm in the area I will definitely check them out to upload new pictures. read more

I've always enjoyed the clothing style of boutiques for the uniqueness unable to attain at mass department stores. With a good friend, we both wondered this city of fashionable clothing which entice our interest. Two levels where the lower level are all thing bling for earrings, necklaces, hair clips, iPhone bling cases, rings and the upper level is clothing. Stock is well organized and is very fashionable for the young adult woman in keeping up with 2013 trend and style probably direct from Korea. There is space for curated browsing amid, I did not try on any material. Price appears reasonable unlike the standard mass department stores. Owned and operated by Koreans who converse minimal English and are not friendly to other Asians as myself. When inquiring if they have a business card, the associate gave me a rude scowl look and blurted out "minimum $20.00 for card" followed by more coldness and dirty looks. The cashier's unwarranted hostility is uninviting for a return visit. Certainly, Fashion City has style for clothing but a whole lot of crass for customer service. read more

Fashion City - Earrings the best - Accessories Near Me - Flushing, New York

They seemed to have the most smart phone case options around the Main St./Roosevelt Ave. area. Their accessories sections is dizzying and a little bit overwhelming, but with great patience, there are actually some really interesting earrings and hair accessories. Some unique and artsy things. A lot of the jewelry have some element of sparkle and runs on the the girly side. I got 2 pair of earrings for $17 (one pair had 3 interchangeable earrings- a cool, assymetrical look!). A korean friend told me that these sort of shops market themselves as "boutiques," but for any korean mom, they may consider the quality really bad. I'm guessing that's why they're able to price a long sleeve shirt at $140, with a "special" 30% off? And a coat for $500?! We thought that they were marked at the original Korean price. Nope. it's USD. There's a few cute dresses and tops, but I wouldn't pay that amount of money for the clothes. It's alsa a good store to cut through in the middle of winter. It's an L-shape with entrances on both Roosevelt & Union. Kekeke. read more

I have been buying skincare here for years. I always get a good deal and lots of samples. For the clothes, you often find good deals and styles that are hard to find elsewhere. I like the variety the store offers. I went with my mom yesterday and she got a summer hat! read more

They have a great selection of cute iphone cases, jewelry, hair accessories, face masks, and other accessories for mostly under $10. There's also a large adjacent section devoted to clothes, shoes, and bags. The clothes were a little more expensive (but also on sale when I went, so I guess it evens out...) but definitely a good place to check out if you're looking for Asian styles. read more

I got three pairs of earrings, some studs and 3 hair pins and clips. Love them all the place has lots of cute earrings and you can find anything you are looking for. Some of the clothes aren't so wellmade but they are cute and there was a 20% discount when I was there as well as earring buckets with 70% off. No one followed me or bothered me and I got a $3 coupon for next time. Super happy! read more

Sure, they have some items unique to Korean fashion that the general community doesn't necessarily know how to get access to, but the products are grossly overpriced. There are plenty of sites online where I can buy the same, if not better, products for much cheaper with free shipping. But, If you're the type that likes instant gratification, you might find that buying from this store beats waiting several days to a couple weeks for shipping & delivery from out of state or overseas countries. Seriously though, even amazon carries most of this stuff now. Having said the above, I bought from this store on several occasions over the last several years when I absolutely wanted something right then and there. If I thought that their customer service was adequate, I would give them 2 or even 3 stars just for selling "Korean" fashion products that ethnically Korean and non-Koreans, alike, can experience here in Flushing, NY. However, aside from a lot of their products not even being authentically Korean, their management and customer "service" are extremely subpar. read more

My mom bought a hairclip here for $10 and the flower decoration fell off two days later. We went in to exchange it within the 10 day exchange date (no returns) and the lady said that they won't accept the hairclip back. The items are cute, but the quality is very poor. We are never buying anything here again. A hairclip from a pharmacy is probably going to have better quality than this place...or at least a better return/exhange policy. read more

If zero stars was possible, I would definitely give this store, especially for the so called manager no stars at all. The cashier is super nice but the manger, she walks and talks and treats her customers like they are beneath her. There was a skirt that I really liked but the zipper was broken. When I asked the cashier if they had another one, she did have one but on the mannequin. She was willing to get it for me but the manager, she said she never changes the cloths on the mannequin so, she didn't want to give it to me. My sister have been shopping here for ages and at that point in time we had cloths we already tried on worth more than 300$ but with that attitude of hers, I rather take my business else where. Every time we have been here, we have always spend more than 100$ each time. We weren't aware she was the manager then but when I asked the cashier if she is the owner today, she said she is the manager. I have a feeling she is a self proclaimed manager/owner. An actual manager will know how to treat their customers better. read more

I have been taking family and shopping there for years. It's an interesting store. It feels like your shopping in Korea. They always have the latest in Korea brands in fashions. A lot I mean a lot of cell phone cases and jewelry accessories on the lower side of the store. Prices are ok. Range from high price to bargains. A lot of sales around you just have to look. Never had an issue at all with customer service. Sometimes staff focus seriously on their jobs, straightening racks etc. could be interpreted as not courteous but I just find that commitment as cute. They have pics of some shoplifters at the entrances so you can't blame them for being over cautious with fitting rooms etc. if your into K-pop idols and want to identify then here are the Korean designer brands. I see some of these low reviews but I've been going for years and years and it's pretty self service. Find what you like. Pay and go. Oh yes...there is usually some interesting promotion they will give you for your next visits when you checking out. read more

Look, when I read the reviews for this place I was expecting wayyy worse. But even though they don't speak perfect English, my cashier was still very friendly to me and threw in some facial masks with my purchase. While yes, originally their clothes are a bit expensive, there's usually almost always some sort of sale going on. I got 50% off each my items, which brought them down to a much more reasonable price. Plus in the front of the shop they have bins full of earrings at $1.99 each! Would definitely recommend. read more

If 0 star is an options i would have to give that. I've been shop here for years for their cute stuffs. Today is my 1st time exchange for a top that i purchased a day ago. I did not have time to try when i purchased so it was too big. Today when i exhanged the cashier put dirty look on me and talked korean to her coworker my guessing she was said i retag the hangtag myself and probably changed the price. I dont even have to speak korean but the way she explained the hangtag to the coworker was obvious. But i explainned to her i dont have a tag gun to swift the label back Or whatever her assumption i would not do it. So she let me exhanged. I found something to exhange and then she screamed on me when she try to explain to me the balance. I dont know what did she eat this morning but barking like that to a loyal customer is so unacceptable. She is the most prettiest one there and i am shocked that she treat customer this way. I promise to myself i wont be shopping there anymore. I hope oneday the owner would take care of the store and training the employee on how to treat their customer. read more

No such thing as customer service here. Had to exchange something and once I told the lady at the cashier (glasses, middle aged) I wanted to exchange, she gave me this nasty attitude as I told her she didn't count in the tax I already paid and that I have more credit on my receipt. Granted I bought more expensive items this time and paid more outta pocket. Tryna cheat me on my money. Tsk tsk. At the end of the exchange, she didn't even give me a bag and just walked away Without saying anything. Treating customers like they're invisible. Given so many other stores in the area, I will NOT buy anything from them again. read more

This place is the go to for a Korean-feel shopping. Everything is cute and fashion trendy. I love the clips and hair ties there are many variations in style and color. They sell clothes that are very cute in the back part. I advise you try on the clothes in the fitting room to see how it fits because the clothes are different sizes. Also, they sell phone cases with a lot of bling and cute things attached on it. But, bling usually comes off in phone cases read more

I used to come here for several years since their clothes are cute (even though it's a bit overpriced). Unlike other shops in flushing that usually have their employees following you around, I never experienced that here. So that's why I gave a star for it. However, all of these aren't worth it when they have such a bad customer service. Last time I went there, they have a new worker that's in charge to manage the fitting room. I only had 2 items to try, pants and blouse. The store only had 2-3 people shopping around in that clothes area upstairs. There was nobody after me who wanted to use the fitting room either. And I just took longer than usual(but still less than 10min) because I wore layered clothes plus coat and it takes a bit of time to take it off and wear it again. I also had to take off my shoes since I wanted to try the pants I picked out. Obviously it would take a bit of time, maybe more than 5 min. After I got out of the fitting room, the lady that was in charge went to me, starting to nag, "Next time don't take too long, we don't like it!" So funny. Does she think there's still next time for me after she treated a customer like this? I understand her concern, but that's not the way to say it to customers since it sounded very rude. Also, I didn't take more than 10 min either and the store was kind of empty with only 2-3 people! Even if I took longer, nobody was behind me to use the fitting room. Not returning anymore after being their customer for many years. Better to spend my money somewhere else with good customer service and better quality of clothes. read more

I bought couple clothes from that store before and I feel their service is not that friendly... but untill one day I went to that shop with my 4 years son and we got yelled few times by their Korean sale ladies , just because my son lightly touched their merchandise. I was shocked and wondered. I never had that kind shopping experience with my son in the USA. I asked them what's the reasons to talk rudely and then they just became dumb without the eye contact... I will never buy anything from there and will tell all my friends to never go there... read more

Workers there are sort of rude. I think a lot of the clothes you find there you can buy on Amazon for way cheaper. The fabric is really cheap. You basically pay for what you get. It's cheap for a reason. The phone cases and hair clips are really charming though! Worth a look. However I wouldn't buy any clothing from there. It's a waste of money. I wouldn't even recommend it to my enemy it would be kinda mean to do so. read more

Workers are extremely rude, they speak Korean and talk about customers. My girl friend tried clothes and wanted to buy it, they immediately took it away. I only browsed the accessories section. I love the hair things, cellphone things, jewelry. Omg, adorable Korean cuteness.

A nice place to shop for Korean fashion. Clothes are usually one size. Very cute cheap iPhone cases, earrings, hair stuff, scarves, necklaces, and hats. Would recommend for people to drop by and check it out. The prices are decent. Some pieces are expensive. I usually always go for the pieces that have some sort of discount. I even bought a winter coat there for everyday wear and it worked fine! read more

You're bound to find a few "asian street style" clothing and cute things here if the price doesn't scare you away. They have a "macy's" lower pricing for some clothing, and then a 100-200$ range of clothing. The more expensive clothing is not worth it, it's artificially priced high. The cheaper range is like 21 for a skirt, 35+ for a dress shirt. 7 for 1 lingerie underwear. The clothing and accessories/beauty parts are separated/divided in the store. A lot of their t-shirts have the "engrish" writing aka words on shirt don't make sense grammatically. Only buy when there's a sale because it's marked up. They have the back2school sale with 30% at the moment, I don't know when they have the 80% sale but I will be back if that ever happens. They have skincare lotion tubs and 150ml bottles for 10 to 15 dollars but I didn't buy since I've never recognized any of these labels, and I've been using asian skincare products when I was a teen. They do have the expensive/famous sulwhasoo(?) skincare brands in the glass counters. They got hair clips, ties, jewelry, sheet masks, some beauty supplies, and more. $20 credit card minimum. I don't know why but the same old, rude lady another reviewer was talking about let me use my card for under $20 since I didn't see the credit card min(my mistake). sign till the end (its a small sign on the clothing register), but let me use it anyways even when I offered to go shop for 1 more thing to make the min. Maybe because there was a police investigation going right in front of the check out counter as well she didn't want to lose sales. Would visit in the future, but as some reviews said, don't expect A++ customer service. Also, all clothing here is asian sized, meaning it may not fit a curvy person or someone that isn't a typical asian size, clothing runs small in other words. read more

Went to this Korean boutique on a whim as I was adventuring around Flushing. This has all your girly needs from phone cases, jewelry, makeup, to clothing. I walked around both levels-the clothing floor didn't really strike me very much even though they had a store-wide sale but the clothing are mostly one size so I didn't really try anything on. They do have a very trendy style and up to date with fashion but it wasn't for me. I found that accessory level more compelling because of the various choices and brands. I found a really cute tiara headband for $9.99 and I've gotten a couple of compliments on it already in one day so that's pretty good and it was made in Korea as well. I also purchased two 10pc set face masks. The first set I bought is the DERMAL Gold Collagen Mask @$9.99 and the second pack is Mitomos Diamond Essence mask @8.99. These were a great deal compared to the Taiwanese masks I'm used to using so I wanted to give them a whirl. All in all, I would revisit this boutique for the face masks, I think they had a good variety of different types of masks for cheap prices. Their accessory wall has an abundance of different styles for everyone to pick out from and they had some decent skincare lines as well. read more

Terrible experience, the two ladies who work there are not so nice. I was going to bought the cloths that I tried and they took my cloths right after I was out from fitting room. Something wrong with those two Asian ladies. read more

The clothes are expensive. They can be cute in appearance, but often upon closer inspection the clothes are often frayed or in poor condition. The return policy is strict and customer service is horrible. I've come through a couple times, while hanging out with friends, and the last time nailed the coffin in the fact that I will never, ever, come back. I was looking through a few skirts and was holding on to them to show my friend. An employee told me I could only bring in 5. I assumed it was only 5 for the dressing room and said ok. I wasn't planning on bringing them all in anyways. However as I continued to wander the store another, older lady started yelling at me for five. I told her I understood and was not planning on taking it in. She seemed offended somehow, even though I had not raised my voice at all. She was yelling at me, and angrily made me put the skirts on a rack and shooed me away after hurrying me to only hold 5. After finding that the skirts were actually of cheap quality I went to put them back on the shelf and look at the previous skirts I had held on to before. The younger employee saw me and spoke something in her language to the other customers. They all stared at me and some even glared and began to whisper. Right in front of my face. I put everything back and left. Absolutely rude with no tact. Yelling at a customer before they even opened their mouth, talking bad about a customer to other customers right in front of them, even worse. Expensive, poor quality, TERRIBLE service. read more

Big assortment of fashion accessories such as earrings and hair pieces. Also sells IPhone cases at a reasonable cost. The store is more on the expensive side as with most Korean stores (~$10 for a hair clip). The clothes are mostly one size fits all and are smaller due to petite Asian body standards. They are not cheap, around $30 or more for a single sweater. Quality is pretty good. There are only three changing rooms which are just wooden sheds. Not much customer service. Overall, nice place to check out if you're shopping for fashionable accessories/clothes. read more

Cute Korean accessories and clothing but is a bit expensive. I come here sometimes to look for cute affordable earrings and can only find some that are worth buying. Fashion city however is much more affordable than Valentine so it is why I come here more often. They offer Korean style clothing which are mostly cute and somewhat baggy. It doesn't' fit my preference but there are some cute leggings and tights that I was interested in. They also gave out some free lotion samples and the lady who gave it to me was very nice and friendly. She gave me 3 instead of 1 so I was happy. read more
