Location wise is on Roosevelt Ave inside the DongDaeMun Shopping Mall Inc which is on the same street as the 7 train. The anime store has three floors (upper floor, main level and basement). Overall, the space is clean and has narrow aisles. Fast service from friendly staff. Cash and/or credit/debit cards are accepted payment. The main floor has a variety of blind boxes, Labubu figures, flash cards, plushies, car models, posters, stationary, figurines especially merch of anime and manga characters....many which I've not heard of before. My favorites are the classic Sanrio and Cardcaptor Sakura. Hugely decent selection of Miku (girl with teal-colored hair) merchandise towards the back of the store. Basement has different kinds of figurines that I've no idea about. My friend knows most of these characters by heart because it seems to be one of her favorite stores whenever coming to the Flushing neighborhood. Flash cards have good deals but the blind boxes are more on the pricier side imo, like $3-4 more compared to other places. Next time if you're wondering what to gift your friends, you can choose to stop by here. I think there has to be something for everyone whether you're into anime or not.

Now, let's talk about the goods - they've got an ocean of $1.99 earrings that are fun to sift through if you enjoy a little treasure hunt. Just don't expect them to last longer than the trend itself, because, let's be real, these pieces are more "fashion" than function. But hey, for under two bucks, why not? They've also got some pricier items if you're feeling fancy, and the store is a paradise for Korean fashion lovers. You'll find everything from trendy clothes and accessories to socks, wallets, and jewelry - basically all the stuff that makes you feel like you walked out of a K-drama (or at least tried). I'm honestly baffled by the negative rating because it's really not thattttt bad. The place is fun, affordable, and they even wrap your purchases like a gift, which is always a nice touch. If you're looking for quality that will last a lifetime, maybe this isn't your stop, but if you want to feel cute for a season, it's a solid place to pop by. 4 stars out of 5.

Long read but MUST READ ALL…read more This is by far the most unprofessional business I've ever encountered. We ended up walking out with two dresses, but we deeply regret our decision. We spent almost $2,000 on dresses that we won't even be able to wear for our event next week. About three months ago, my mom found a dress priced just over $1,000. I later found the same dress online for a lower price, and the store owner agreed to refund us the difference. When I returned to collect the difference, he told me he would give it to me next time. When we returned, my mom tried on her dress and loved it, but it needed some adjustments to fit her height and body type. The owner then suggested I try on a new dress, which I did. He told me it was $950, but when I looked at the tag, it was only $650. I confronted him about the price discrepancy, and he agreed to sell it to me for that price. He also told me the dress was made in Lebanon, although Portia and Scarlett dresses are made in Australia. I liked the dress but wanted to keep my options open since it was strapless. The owner repeatedly pressured me, asking why I didn't like it, insisting that it was beautiful. I told him I was hesitant because I wanted more coverage on top. He then claimed his "professional tailor" could add straps and hem the dress. Although I was still unsure, we moved on to my mom, who was being fitted for alterations. On our way out, the owner was extremely pushy about me paying in full and ordering the dress that day. I explained that I wanted to keep my options open and would call if I didn't find anything else. He insisted that wasn't an option and told me I was difficult to work with and indecisive. Eventually, I agreed to buy the dress, even though I wasn't entirely comfortable. Weeks went by, and when we followed up on the dress, the owner said it was still in Lebanon, although we later learned it was shipped from Germany. When I tried on the dress, I wasn't happy with how it looked on me. The owner began criticizing me, calling me difficult and saying I wouldn't like anything. He also told me that if I took the dress, he wouldn't tailor it for me. His behavior was incredibly rude. My mom tried on her dress, which we were supposed to take home that day, but it was falling apart. I pointed out the issues with the dress, and he responded dismissively with a rude "ok, ok, ok." Eventually, I took my dress, and my mom had to leave hers behind for further repairs. I took my dress to a local tailor, who informed me that it couldn't be altered to add straps. This contradicted what the store owner had told me, suggesting he only wanted to make a quick sale. The bottom line is: Do not waste your time here!

It's filled with mom-and-pop shops that truly have THE best deals on everything from phone cases to women's clothing, ear piercings, jewelry, tattoos, and more. K&K Gifts, the electronics/smartphone accessory store located toward the back of the mall, has been my go-to phone case/screen protector store ever since it opened in 2020 -- and before that, I had been going to Lazy Bee, the smartphone accessory store at Busy Mall pre-COVID, for as long as I can remember. Today, I happened to be in Flushing with some friends for lunch, and I got a new screen protector for $3, a new case for $5, and a new phone wallet for $3 from K&K. Such an insane deal!! I haven't been personally, but I've heard that Sam's Silver Image is super popular for piercings. Would recommend checking them out if you're looking for a reputable place to get one. All in all, if you haven't stopped by Busy Mall after stuffing your face with delicious Flushing soup dumplings or K-BBQ for lunch, I'd totally recommend you stop by next time you're around. You won't regret it!!
