One of my favorite stores to get basic pieces for my closet. I buy all my thermals from here because they are thin and warm. This store in particular is very crowded and lately they carry a lot of really large sizes. I hate to say it but sometimes it's just a hit or miss for me. I must admit I was all fired up today, not happy with having to make a second trip to a Uniqlo to process a return. Due to some obscure written policy, Uniqlo only allows for returns to be made at the store where you made the original purchase. This isn't a policy that most other global merchants follow, in fact I've NEVER heard of such a policy before at any other merchant. EVER! According to Uniqlo they do allow for you to ship your item to this particular location, as it acts like a hub, to process the return by sending the returned item back to the location you purchased from to process the return. Does that sound insane? It does to me. Anyway, I live nearby and was told by Uniqlo chat that I could just walk in with my item instead of insanely shipping it. I was skeptical of this, but went ahead and did so only to be initially told by an employee that was not true. Long story short, I give props to the store manager, Ms. Sanchez for being incredibly AWESOME in diffusing the situation and processing the return anyway and making up for a corporate policy which makes no sense. I'd shop at this particular location again knowing there is someone that cares about their customers to do the right thing. No stars for Uniqlo corp but 5 solid ones for Ms. Sanchez. read more

Last time I was here, you ended up waiting in a long line waiting for a cashier. They've managed to solve that by converting part of their story into a self-checkout area, which definitely speeds up the experience but still have a couple of cashiers just in case. Well the designs of the t-shirts are no longer is interesting to me because they no longer stock Star Wars-related shirts, there are still some comfortable clothing styles with no designs that I tend to favor because they are cotton and have no random branding on them. Great selection of simple clothing. Great for mixing and matching.I particularly liked the men's jackets that you could wear both materials inside and out. I wish there were more clothes out there like that. I really like the minimalist design. The parka looks so good, but isn't practical where I go to school, being that it is always cold. It is great that there are pictures of models wearing the items so that I do not have to try on every single piece of clothing. I like this location far more than the larger and more overwhelming locations in NYC. Store is very neat. I will definitely be back to shop more when I have the money to splurge on it! Items are a bit more costly than store i'd normally shop at, but clothes do some with some cool features like being UV resistant. The line area is small. I had to climb over 2 people to get to my cashier. Boo! Really glad I was able to find stretch top dress pants on sale! Perfect for every semi-formal occasion without having to be uncomfortable all day long. The changing rooms here are spacious and clean. Service is excellent. read more

I've been coming to this location since the day they opened and during the pandemic. I never really had problems finding the things I want but I noticed they are not the friendliest. I would consider this store as more of like a outlet type compare to the Uniqlo stores in Manhattan. This store does not have all the latest items and most items are on sale (depending on the day you visit). New policy is that items need to be shipped back and Uniqlo charges $7.00 for shipping. How ridiculous is that? This uniqlo is small compared to the 34th Street location or their 5th ave stores. The size is about the same as the location in Garden City at the Roosevelt field mall. This review is mainly about my experiences at this location and not the overall brand itself. Although I do enjoy shopping at the brand, this location is often lackluster. When there is a great sale (especially Black Friday, any time during Holiday Season or any major holiday (this includes LUNAR NEW YEAR) the lines can be all the way well into the center of the store, almost to the point where you can see the line as you walk into the store. Some other Asian customers are pushy (when the store is crowded, you might get pushed) and they also may be rude and cut you on the line (thank you to the cashier who refused to take that lady who cut me). The store doesn't have a large selection of things, rather it has a good enough section that you will find what you are looking for hopefully. Make sure to check the end caps of the ladies section for good deals (like marked down pants, shirts etc) however the mark downs are specific to each branch. Sometimes you can get a better mark down price online or at the city locations. The stock runs out quickly here if there is a popular graphic Tshirt you are looking for. When the Doraemon Tshirt line was released there were very few left at this location that I had to commute all the way to the 5th Avenue location to find what I was looking for. Avoid this location on the weekends during peak hours - the clothes will be a mess and the wait on the line may be about 15-20 mins. They try to speed it up by designating certain registers credit card only, if they have enough staff to do so. WIFI is available, however it's spotty and inconsistent. If you use the uniqlo app to get your uniqlo member ID scanned, make sure to load it up well before you get to the counter. I have had issues with it, delaying my checkout. The app is pretty useful as it tracks your purchase history and there may also be coupons loaded to your account. Occasionally they offer a FREE item to help promote their brand which is a great deal! It gets you browsing into the store and it gets you to try their product. I recommend the heat tech line (tops and leggings) as a way to layer up during the winter months. Watch out for great marked down Tshirts (sometimes as low as $5.90 if you are willing to wait and are on the fence about a item.) I love how you can easily mix and match the clothes they offer. Inside the store organization is a little confusing; they should have better signs designating Women's and Men's section. When I started to come here I would wander the whole store. Uniqlo is a very environmental conscious store; they encourage recycling of gently used garments and there is a bin for it. They have a mission of sustainability and I love the fact that they are trying to make a difference. read more

I just visited this UNIQLO and got 2 pairs of pants that were already on sale for 29.90 reduced an additional percentage upon check out! Love surprises like that. The rating for this UNIQLO is pretty low but I enjoyed my visit. Even on a busy Saturday, the merchandise were clearly labeled, stacked, and hanged for customers to easily find what they are looking for. The line I waited on was also pretty fast compared to those at the locations in Manhattan. I hope to be back! read more

They have very limited styles at this location. I usually come and try on for size but always place orders online. One time I wanted the associate to measure my inseam so that I can order the hemming online. ***Warning... Do not do it*** The young lady had ZERO CLUE which seam to start the measurement and she had no clue that you start at 1" on the tape measure instead of the tip. Ended up doing it myself. Maybe the associate are not trained in this respect since they do not offer hemming service at this location. read more

It's great to have a Uniqlo in Queens. This Uniqlo is a great addition to the Skyview Center Mall. The store always have great deals on various clothing that alternates weekly. I love their color t-shirts, undershirts, AIRism line, socks, and hoodies. I like how their undershirts are packaged flat in a sealable bag. It makes it easy to pack for trips in your luggage. The store is always clean and neat even during the crazy weekend shopping times. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They have exclusive collaborations with various artists and some designs are awesome. I bought a couple of Andy Warhol and Pharrell T-Shirts and Hoodies. The sizes may be a bit off so I recommend trying them on before buying. The Japanese Inspired clothing may be a bit small for American sized people. I normally wear Medium shirts but in some styles, I have to get the Large. read more

This UNIQLO saved me once. Lol. During a recent visit, I was at the fitting room and with all the groceries from Target and a rolling cart I brought with me, I ended up leaving my backpack by the fitting room desk and I forgot where I left it One of the employees found it for me, along with the UNIQLO bag of items I wanted to exchange from a previous purchase, which I forgot about actually (yeah.. not a good day..). Even with my panicking, the employee was calm and used his walkie talkie thing to ask if any other of the other workers have seen my backpack. Thank God he came back with both my backpack & bag wish I could have asked for his name.. big thanks to the guy with glasses and the hair tied up (in a bun?)! Please give him a raise or something, UNIQLO. Aside from getting back my stuff, all the employees are really patient and kind. They took care of my returns easily and they're really informative. Had no idea we could see opened heat tech wear (that are usually packaged) in the fitting room.
