This is by far my favorite target in Queens. It's usually fully stocked and I can find everything I need. They have self checkout, and regular registers so the checkout process is usually pretty smooth. It's an obscenely huge location, but in a good way! We dropped in to buy a birthday card, and as soon as we walked in, the cards were right to our left. Of course, my hubby knows me well enough to know that I was going to want to peruse the store and look for some of the things I had added to my online shopping cart. We made our way over to the beauty aisle, and I love that Target carries all of the major brands. It makes shopping so convenient when you can get all of your essentials in one spot. My biggest gripe with this particular location, though, is that the products from the same brands aren't always grouped together. Instead, they're strewn about different aisles. I was specifically looking for the EOS Cashmere Lip Butter, and the EOS products seemed to span about three different aisles in various places. There was no rhyme or reason as to why the lip products were on different shelves and in different aisles instead of being grouped together. I was halfway ready to give up when I decided to look for the other products on my list. Ironically, that's how I ended up coming across the main thing I had been searching for! If Target could revamp the aisles and group products from the same brands or product lines together, it would make shopping so much easier and less frustrating. That said, there are definitely some things I really like about this location. There are two self-checkout areas on opposite sides of the store, plus regular cashiers in the middle. That's probably my favorite feature because it gives you plenty of options when you're ready to check out. Oh, and the store is really clean, which is always a huge plus. This has to be the best Target I've been to in NY. I've been coming here for years since they've opened. I have to take stars off now. I just hate how everything is locked up. It's easier to just do a pick up so you don't need to find an employee to constantly open glass doors for you. There are less self check out for some reason and obviously less cashiers. Now I do drive up more than shopping inside. Which sucks because it was always nice to get Starbucks and walk around. read more

It's been a while , I enjoyed today's visit. There are lot of improvements comparing to my last visit. Clean , organized and has ample stocks. The addition of groceries made a difference. It feels more homey. Due to social distancing protocol, there was a line going to the register but the store has methodical procedure. Cashiers are nice. Brown bags are being provided in compliant to the recycle restrictions. A recommended shopping store. read more

This is by far the best Target in NYC in terms of both size and stock. There's free parking and it's conveniently located near a bunch of other good stores so you really can make a day of it. Disappointed that they don't have an Ulta Beauty in this Target but they do have an Ulta in the shopping center, and while the beauty section is a bit small, it is very well stocked for it's size. Also a good selection of clothes and groceries. By far, the best one stop shop of all 718 Targets. read more

This place is huge. There's parking as well. I thought it had more items and even an expansive food aisle than the Target that I've been to in other areas. It had so many choices. I have been coming to this target from the time it opened . Although when I am in other locations I will check out what other Targets have to offer . This Target is on point with Drive Up orders . I rarely wait even during the busiest of times between 4:00-7:00 PM . This Target has the basic one stop shopping items and have great center displays with Holiday goodies . Love this Target and EVERY cashier I have ever came across were pleasant . read more

We Purchased a Schwinn bike for our daughter at Target in Queens. Came unassembled and this Target did not have a bike builder. Brought the bike home, assembled it myself, discovered something wrong with a preassembled part. I called the Schwinn, back and fought with phone calls e-mails and a video of the issue. They sent parts to for the bike to fix the problem but told I needed special tools which I did not have. We Contacted the Target in College Point, spoke to Carlos the bike builder, told us to bring the bike to him which we did. When we arrived there was a miscommunication and the bike builder was not there. Then Christine the front end manger started helping us. She told us we can leave the bike and have Carlos look at it the next day. Carlos told us this was not a part he can replace since it was a preassembled. At this point we wanted to exchange the bike but no more like this were available. We were told there was another bike for more money we could look at but not on display and one is being built for another customer and one additional in stock. Christine then told us we could see it, brought us to another end store, took out the bike for us to see. My daughter like it so even it was a higher price we agreed to purchase it. Christine took us to customer service to finish the transaction and gave us a discount without us ever asking. She did it for our inconvenience, we were extremely grateful. The next day we came to pickup the bike, Christine met us at customer service and Carlos brought the bike to us and took it home. This resulted in 4 trips to Target, one in Queens and 3 to College Point. Even though there were issues, Christine went above and beyond to accommodate us. The entire customer service we received from Christine and Carols was outstanding. My wife even called corporate to informed of our experience. It's rare you get this type of customer service. Every time we were there Christine took care of us the entire time, even though she was being called on the walkie, she delegated the responsibilities to other staff. We also found the store well organized with many staff working, never saw a long line at customer service for return and pick ups. I wish we lived closer to this Target because we would shop here all the time. Many Kudos to Christine and Carlos. read more

I love this local Target. It is very close to my house and it is actually very organized to other Targets I have been to. Their customer service is great when it comes to returning anything and their self check out is super convenient. I like that I can purchase a Starbucks drink right there in Target and enjoy my shopping. I especially enjoy that I can order my items for curbside pick up. I do not have to physically go inside and shop. The shoppers are always very friendly when bringing my things to my car and always get my orders correct. This target has a large selection of produce even though they are sometimes out of stock. Their poultry selection is not great but I really do love their sirloin steaks and they are well priced. I also like their premade salads that are easy to take to work or get me out of making a meal. I have tried their delivery service and it's great if I'm sick and can't go shopping or not in the mood to go out and shop. They do charge $10 per delivery if you don't have the membership which is $100 per year. read more

First, the parking lot here is nice and big, but I was surprised how busy it was. The pickup area isn't the easiest to find. After entering, go left past the Starbucks and through the checkout area. At the back behind the checkout section, it'll be there next to the returns & exchanges counter. Staff was friendly and she quickly scanned my barcode on my phone and checked my ID. I wish Target would put the barcode in the order email instead of making you login to their website. Plenty of hand sanitizers scattered around. Overall, pretty good experience. read more

The Target is in a very good location close to the highway and other main streets. A huge parking lot of a big plus! This location is always fully stocked and I never had any issues with anything here. Also a Starbucks inside is a big plus you can get a coffee on your way out to complete you shopping experience! I would definitely recommend shopping here in the morning since there's less customers and you can get more products in the morning than towards the end of the day I think, items do get restocked but it's always better to come here in the morning. read more

I remember when this place first opened decades ago. This recent trip was my first time here in years. In fact, when I lived here, this Target originally did not have the market. I joined my friend during one of my visits back home some years back and that is when I was taken aback with the market! I was on a mission to find sugar-free Turkey Hill ice cream. I checked 2 stores previously that did not carry it and was passing here anyway. Since I have not been here in years, I was kind of thrown off when I entered. The market part is on the right side when you enter. The way everything was laid out was strange. The ice cream was located in the freezers against the perimeter. It looked like there was a shortage on ice cream because there were scraps left. While we were trying to browse, employees and other customers kept coming into our personal space, strange. The employees were also stocking items so when they were coming out onto the floor, they did not say excuse me or anything. It was like, I'm going to do what I want and if you get hit, oh well. I found that rude. We did not browse much further than the ice cream section. I did need dental floss but since it would have been the only item I was purchasing, I didn't bother and decided to leave. read more

I never noticed Target had a Optical department until recently. My vision plan indicted that Target Optical do participate in the plan I have. I quickly discovered that many of the Target store in North Queens doesn't have an Optical Department. I checked Queens Center and the Skymall on Flushing and both do not offer Optical service; only at this location for North Queens. For eye exam an appointment can be easily made on their website or a phone call works too. The exam was quick and professional. The selection of frames are good; both in style and price. The most organized store under the circumstances (Coronavirus). Very helpful employees, shelves were being restocked in an orderly manner. The lines were contained at the self checkout. Impressively posturing upon a large chunk of land with parking galore, this behemoth box store has it all -- lending to the problems within. Customer service is a variable, an unknown, hit or miss -- which is unsettling upon the harried return days of the post Christmas returns galore. I had three misses and two hits as I tend to ask a multitude of information gathering questions. Returning a cordless phone set looked daunting, the line was past the ribbon rope people herder, all with shopping carts half filled. But the line moved quite quickly and with my return money, I set out to purchase some golf balls. Bridgestone tour RX330 were priced at fifteen a dozen, I took em all. But logic set in as a stride to the 18 double registers as these typically retail for upwards of fourth bucks. Price check revealed what I initially missed with my pie in the sky hopes. read more

FAVORITE TARGET LOCATION. I do have to say, this place can get CRAZY packed but then again what Target isn't jammed packed? The aisles are always filled, their never is a mess. Even now, during the holiday. I've been to other Targets, and I do have to say their clothing section is way better. They all sell the same items but it seems as the 20th ave location has the better choices or more choices. The lines go by pretty fast, they always have the right amount of cashiers open. They have two self check-out sections and I do have to say.. some of the girls working the self check-outs have attitude problems or they just don't want to be there. I'd admit this location doesn't have the fastest lines or cleanest aisles but they do carry everything you would expect and need from a Target. Plus the convenience of a free parking lot and location close to the Van Wyck Expressway. This is definitely the one we frequent the most. I spend so much money here it's ridiculous. Might just change my paycheck direct deposit settings to go directly to this store. read more

So I went to return it, and the lady (Asian) said she cant process the return because they don't have that carseat in stores...huh?? Im Showing her the email that is telling me i can return to any stores. She calls in her coworker or manager,(idk who) and he tells me the same thing. I don't know what Target does with their marketing department or maybe they put something into the water supply, but I feel the urge to buy something here whenever I'm within a mile radius. They must radiate some kind of mind-control ray from the giant red bullseye painted on the roof and I know Dr Evil and Mini-me are behind this nefarious scheme somehow. Conspiracy theory much? Whether it's wrapping paper for Christmas, notebooks for Back-to-school, M&M's for Halloween or a new grill spatula for Memorial Day, Target has the year round seasonal section stocked up just for you. If you can wait until after those holidays, you can shop those same items for 1/2 off or more! For Thanksgiving, their Black Friday deals are killer also! Of course their toys and electronics departments are kickbutt. The jury is still out on whether their food market section is a success or not because I do not think of Target when I'm food shopping. For a while their 12¢ bananas were a good deal, but not so much now for 24¢ each. Where Sears and Kmart have bobbled the retail sales ball, Target has scooped it up and run it all the way to the bank. read more

I LOVE Target with a huge passion! My fiancé and I do most of our shopping here because it is BIG and has almost everything that we want and need. Another love factor is that we can go into ONE store to shop for everything all in one shot. It really saves us a lot of time not having to hop around to different stores. Whether it is food-related, such as peanut butter, wheat bread, granola bars, lean cuisine, bananas or home-related, such as lysol wipes, paper towels, sponges, light bulbs, we will find them in Target because almost everything is right here! We do not just shop at the local stores, we also purchase items on their online website - www.target.com. Tip: Sometimes the online price differs from the store price. Do the comparison first. You may not find some online items in stores and vise versa. It can get tricky but just do the research and shop wisely. Every time I go inside Target, I always end up not wanting to leave. And my fiancé has to literally drag my b-hind out lol Trust me, I can spend hours, if not, the WHOLE day at Target. There is just too much to look at/browse through and think about... whether to buy or not to buy... It is horrible that I spend so much $$$ in Target BUT I save a whole lot with their constant sales (price cuts) and discounts. Best of all, I have a Target Red Card to save an additional 5%, which is not much to be honest, but every saving helps. I like how they have price check machines! It makes the shopping experience much easier without going through the hassle of asking a salesman to check the price on each item. Note: Target does not have printed weekly circulars to hand out to customers. However, you can take a look at it on the web or go inside Target to find an enlarged version posted on the bulletin board. Warning: Be careful with online orders at www.target.com because sometimes the delivered items are defected. Ex. a scratch on a TV stand or a stain on an ottoman. It may not have happened during the shipment but the item itself may have already been defected to begin with. When this happens, simply return the defected item at any Target through their Customer Service department. They will refund your money without a problem! OH, what time is it? I like this target more compared to the one in skyview mall because the atmosphere is so much nicer. Parking is easy to find, the shelves and stock is so much more organized. There is a lot less people coming to this location compared to skyview mall, so the lines are much shorter. From time to time there are coupon codes that you can use if you buy a certain dollar amount or certain items. I'm sure it is probably like that for many target locations. However I particularly enjoyed shopping at this location since I was able to buy corn at 25 cents a cob 2 days before July 4th, just in time for bbqing. I was unable to find certain items, the staff there was very accommodating. Instead of just telling me which aisle the item was in, the employee walked me many aisles to the actual product. Great place to shop, will definitely be coming back. read more

I appreciated the self check out line. Even though it was the middle of a work day, the store seemed busy and I knew regular checkout would hold me up. I always enjoy coming to Target but this visit was much more sentimental; I was with my mom (I usually come alone) & we were both moved at how pleasant and accommodating Margaret was. Never in my life I thought I would shop at Target, let alone review it or give it 5 stars. If this location is the model for their business plan; BUY stock now. This location just gets it. They do thinks right. Clean parking lot. Carts retrieve back to the store. Fast return merchandise counter (even during Christmas). Clean bathrooms. Plenty of cashiers on hand. Tons of staff on the floor who are nice. Yes nice. Been here dozens of times and if someone on staff does not know the answer. They find someone who does. WOW! Oh yeah Target sells everything, even real estate. OK, maybe now everything, but close to it. Everything is well stocked and organized. Pricing outstanding. Always a deal on with new deals the next day. I am a traditional dresser with Brooks Brothers style suits and jeans when causal. I don't need $300 name brand jeans. The normal Target experience in New York City is probably consistently three stars. Nothing amazing, but pretty consistent. This Target gets the bump up for several reasons. There is free parking. A lot of it. While non-New Yorkers may take this for granted, the fact that this is the only one of the three targets in the vicinity with free parking distinguishes this place. The store is pretty well organized in general and often has things in stock, unlike other Targets. The lines are pretty fast. The place is clean. The back aisles are the wild west and ever changing, often having clearance and seasonal items. read more

I love it because it is super convenient with the huge parkig lot and ample shopping carts available but also hate it because my wallet wails every time I walk into this store. They got EVERYTHING from food, to clothing, to household appliances, to holiday decor, home and gardening to tv's. to video games, to everything else you can think of! I live in the Bronx but I usually go here until one afternoon, no baskets/ carts anywhere. I asked a staff for baskets. Only gave me one, stated that another customer needed a basket. I waited for 15 min, still no cart in the front. I asked one employee if I can borrow her cart, said "no", it's not for customers. I hurt my shoulder because of the heavy basket. Staff here are very insensitive. Will not ever go back here. I should have gone to stop & shop if I had thought sooner. read more

Still not completely cleaned up after Christmas but there are still bargains to be had right now. This Target location is average based on other nearby Target stores - I've been to better and I've been to worse. Overall, the selection is usually pretty decent and the staff are generally courteous. Sometimes, you may not have the easiest time locating a staff member to assist you but they are usually nice when you do have a chance to deal with them. This is still a good store for competitive prices. They may not be as cheap as the typical Walmart store but they are also not as hectic and frustrating to be in. read more
