I have a love/hate relationship with this target. But it's better than the other location! I love that it's so close to me! I kid you not, 2 minutes away! When I'm bored or sad, I go shopping here for no reason and end up leaving with a bunch of stuff (usually cooking utensils, make up, clothes, and car washing supplies). This location is pretty clean! I love it! The new target that opened up a few years back is SUPER DIRTY! I don't care. The restrooms here are really clean as well!! I try to avoid this location when it's packed. People can be pushy and rude during the holidays. I understand. You gotta buy gifts and it's crazy busy and you wanna get out of here. Therefore, I will avoid you because I don't wanna be there forever and come here super early, literally when they open. It's amazing!... I won't lie though. Dropped by Target on 20th Avenue today. You would never know there was a NYS mask mandate ordered by the Governor. There was not one single sign informing customers they had to wear a mask and of course no one was checking vaccine status. Many customers had no mask on, and some employees were also walking around without masks or with their masks below their noses. As covid cases climb dramatically in NYC, how exactly does Target justify this complete lack of concern over the lives and health of its customers and employees?? read more

I came here to do some grocery shopping because I had gift cards and to exchange diapers. FYI NEW MOMS!!!! If you got diapers at your baby shower and need to exchange the sizes you can do that at target without the receipt. They just check your ID. Many people brought me newborn diapers and I had a big baby. So I exchanged my newborn diapers for sizes 1 and up. The return desk was very polite and efficient while helping me with my exchanges. Also, new moms.... ATTENTION: Target accepts WIC. Didn't know that and it is very helpful to know. The grocery section doesn't have a bunch of things like a regular supermarket but enough to get some things. The meats were a little pricey but the other stuff was pretty reasonable. They didn't have enough juices and sodas. They needed to restock ASAP. It was probably like that because everyone was shopping for Christmas. My only complaint was the cashier I told her I needed a gallon of water that I couldn't reach. I asked her if she can call someone to get it for me. The girl just told me I should of asked someone to get it while I was there. I tried but everyone was busy and I couldn't reach it. I feel like she could of assisted me more with that because I really needed that water for my newborns formula. Anyways, overall I had a good experience at this Target. Came here to get bicycle helmet! But seriously they don't have a lot of selection of helmets! They had exact 4! 3 of them were just for kids and there was just exact one kind and it was for the adult. They have variety of bicycle selection but only one kind helmet! I asked one of the worker where was the shower curtain and he's like I don't work here! A girl next to him were saying you do work here why would you lie. From there if you didn't want to help just you didn't want to instead of telling me you don't work here which you do! Also all the register is not open only few were open! The self check out was long line as well. If you guys people in a line then shouldn't you guys open up? These were the reason I have to give them 3 stars instead of 5 stars! They have a lot of stuff but then again a lot of people. The lines are ridiculously long to the point I just leave my stuff and leave. I can't wait in line for 20 minutes to buy a couple of things- also the self checkout lines are ridiculously long as well lol I give them 3 stars for the nice and helpful staffs who helps me find things in this large store. They renovated this place so it looks super clean and modern "chic". We haven't gone to this place in a while since Skyview mall opened up a Target there, but I forgot how spacious this one is. The parking is free and there's a lot more variety of things versus the one in Skyview Mall. They get points for parking, expansion of their home decor section, they tend to have more seasonal stuff here versus the other Targets in Queens, and they have clean bathrooms? What's that about? Tip: Load up on some carbs at Pizza Hut and caffeine at Starbucks to start your shopping day. Don't worry shopping burns calories. read more

There were 2 ladies that helped with my returns. Because I am nice enough to not state names, lets call the first lady who did all my returns Lisa and the 2nd lady who helped a little bit called Janet. I originally asked Lisa who did my returns that I want store credit and it to be put on 1 gift card. Lisa said okay no problem and did the first return as store credit. The next major return was done credited to my card that I originally paid with (WHICH ISN'T WHAT I ASKED). Long story short, it was fixed with help from Janet who knew what she was doing. Then as I proceeded to check on my phone the store credit / gift card balance, Lisa quickly said bye to me trying to dismiss me. I wouldn't walk away until I checked that I received the correct amount of store credit. After I checked it, I was a little more than $100 short of what I should've received. I then told the Lisa who did my returns and she then told Janet (because apparently Lisa doesn't know what she's doing) Janet then got back involved and she found out that there were actually 3 separate gift cards with the returns on them when I originally requested it all to be on 1 GIFT CARD. Lisa apparently "forgot" to give me my other 2 gift cards (which had more than $100 on them combined). Janet then doubled checked the other 2 gift cards balances. She was first working on 1 of them and she put or gave the other one to Lisa. When Janet went back to the 2nd missing gift card, she couldn't find it. Apparently Lisa "misplaced it" or "accidentally threw it away". Long story short, it was resolved but it was hell. I will always make sure everything is correct, even if its an item that costs $1. Its just the point that these careless mistakes were made by this 1 lady... LISA!!!! read more

This is a huge department store so as expected, it is always crowded. I came here on Sunday and experienced 2 very weird employees talking to themselves both in different sections regarding the mess that the customers have left. One lady in the shoe department was cursing in a loud enough tone so that I heard her while standing about 5 feet away about the shoes being tossed all over the floor. Another woman next to the womens t shirts was complaining under her breath about how nothing is folded and how people are pigs. Ladies....that's YOUR job when you work in retail. Don't expect people to put things away nicely. I've worked in retail before so I understand your frustrations BUT if you don't like what the job consists of, leave. Oh and definitely don't voice the thoughts in your head loud enough for the customers to hear because there just might be a Yelper near by such as myself ready to Yelp away about your craziness. On a brighter note, Target has a great selection of clothes, bags, accessories...pretty much anything and everythingn especially the skin care products...however...my short encounter with these 2 women was quite strange to say the least. read more

There is a line outside the store but it does by pretty fast. Just like other target locations & supermarkets the frozen food section & disinfectant is not as full. There are plenty of workers around filling in throughout the whole store. Went for some groceries & mother's days gifts. I'm definitely happy with all my purchases. Best thing about this place is the parking lot and how convenient it is for my family and I. What I really don't like about this branch is the customer service line...one of the worst. I love that I can buy stuff online to pick up later in store. The only bad thing is that there's always one person that is stationed here and not only does she deal with pick ups, she deals with customers returning items....which I HATE because it tends to drag on longer than it should. There should be a line just for pick ups. It's honestly appalling. I wait in line for 15-20 minutes and the time I actually spend at the counter is less than 5.... there's obviously something wrong with this picture. read more

Seriously, my favorite target ever! Not only is it huge but the staff is also extremely polite and helpful. The lines are excessively long and the clearance section is great!!!!!!! I always find something I need or want at a great price. There's also stores like TJ Max and BJs nearby with a huge parking lot. This is literally my go-to target and a great alternative to the one near skyview mall which is super packed.. almost always. There's also a Starbucks within this location! YAY. So, this rating has to do with their customer service. I called on the phone to ask if they recycled infant car seats. Didn't want to just go in with one and have them tell me they don't. So i figured i'd call and make sure they would take the car seat. I called 2 different Targets. The first didn't answer the phone at all, despite the fact that i made several attempts. The second would pick up and instantly put me on hold. No one even spoke on the phone, they just instantly put me on hold for a long period of time. I went into the fitting rooms last week to try on a very cute dress. In the fitting rooms, I watch one of the managers talk so rudely to this young girl. she asked her why she couldn't get a section done; and this girl was so polite sounding, i feel so bad. she said she couldn't do the work of multiple people in a very little amount of time. this woman (i think her name was lily or something) very rudely expressed that she needed to get used to it, this is how they do things at target. abysmal! no hours to these poor young people who are just trying to stay afloat, and this woman demands her employees be super hero's. if this is how target treats it's people, i will never be returning again. i don't care how nice the stuff is. disgusting ! read more

I then called them later that day and they said they still haven't heard anything but if they do they will call. The next morning I woke up to generous cops. Recent visit with a party of three enables me to attain personal care products. A grocery department is within this Target and food including produce that appears fresh. Ample cashiers ready, willing and able to ring customers. Facilities are relatively clean. A large parking lot exist for this College Point, Queens Target. Aisle are relatively clean, organized with the exception of the clearance department for one big fat hodgepodge chaotic hot mess. I am a frequent customer of Target and never have I experienced anything like this... I went to buy a nintendo DS game and a lady came up to me to see if I needed help. So even though I thought it was sold out. She found one more and it was hidden in the back. She took the game, tried to sell me a gift card, then went directly to the cash register with the game still in her hand, shoved into the bag and I paid for it. I left and then realized that the game's box was damaged. I gave this store four stars because when I went back to return it, they did not hassle me and the man acted in a professional manner. Of all the Targets I've been to, this one is definitely my favorite. It may not be the biggest but it has everything I need-- from groceries to household items to toys and gadgets. This particular location is clean and well-maintained. The shelves are always neatly stocked and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of registers open and lines will typically move quickly. Like most places, it can get really crowded on the weekends but that's to be expected. The parking lot is huge and I've never had a problem finding parking. I've found the best time to visit is during the week (before school lets out) or in the evening. The crowds are smaller, the lines are shorter, and the overall experience is that much better. I've been known to frequent this particular Target 4-5 times in a week just because it's just fun to browse. Don't know where to go after gorging yourself at dinner? Drop by Target and walk off some of those calories! There's always something to buy and Target has everything! read more

One of my worst check-out experiences. I asked our cashier to check the price of a sale item not ringing up correctly. Our cashier calls over a manager, Jeffy or Jeffrey. I asked him to check the aisle, and I'll pay the correct price. He replies "I'm not trying to be a douche, but if I disprove you you're gonna pay the full price." I absolutely did not appreciate his language nor his condescension, but I said that's fine. My wife walked with him to the aisle. The sign was misleading so he ripped it off the shelf. I received the price advertised. But there was no apology from the manager or cashier, just attitude. I won't be shopping there again. There are plenty of places to get the same items for comparable prices. They really need to get their customer service up to par. read more

I started shopping at this Target after avoiding Target stores for years because this one is fairly convenient for me and somewhat decently stocked, carrying some items at lower prices that I would usually just get online, and the staff overall has been relatively professional, save a few people. I prefer to come here during off hours so that I can be in and out and avoid any long lines. I've had helpful and somewhat friendly staff the first few times I came here. One guy even helped me in terms of seeing that certain GMO free granola cereals that I like to buy are stocked regularly, and I noticed yesterday when I came, all three flavors were available for Bakery on Main, which was nice. The only thing that has annoyed me of late is having some of the staff members gawk at me as if they are wondering what I am doing shopping there. While I generally shop at high end places, I like saving money too just like the next guy, and thus I only buy cereal, lunch staples (organic bread, Applegate cheeses and deli meats, etc.) and other natural and organic staples (Method cleaning products, etc.) since they are cheaper here. I would not buy other products from here though, as quality may be questionable since box stores tend to carry a lot of sweatshop products, which I do not support nor buy. And this Target in particular, being one of the first ones in Queens, has been a reliable choice through the years. Yes there are times when it gets a little crazy over there. especially during the holidays. There are also times when they run out of stock of certain things, and times when their shelves are all out of place but i feel like after all these years you're bound to catch them off their game a few times. This target is one of the better ones in queens. Large parking lot and plenty of open registers. The shelves are well stocked and usually organized. They also have a Starbucks and Pizza Hut in the front in case you need a little something while shopping. read more

I love this store because its clean, not too congested like the one in Gateway Brooklyn and most importantly, theres a huge FREE parking lot. They keep the store clean and even the sale racks dont look cluttered with clothes and stuff all over. Once you leave you can venture into Pc Richard, TJ Maxx or Old Navy which is close by. read more

Woohoo Target! Recently came here for the first time and I really liked it. I love their huge food and home goods sections. Huge parking lot and the lines weren't too long. It was, however, hard to find a cart and I had to lug a few boxes around. I came here a few days before Xmas and found really cute ornaments (other Targets are usually sold out). 4.5 Stars Best Target in Queens and second only to LIC Costco as best discount store in Queens. This College Point location is SEVERELY better than downtown flushing Target or Elmhurst Target. Why: 1. Free, open, easy parking. Suburban mall style - huge plus. 2. Less crowds - again, more like suburban style. Not super mall crazy mad house human stampede like Flushing SkyView and Elmhurst malls. Target is great, especially for frozen and packaged foods. They actually run a lot more sales than wal-mart, quieter, and cleaner (relatively). You can also stack coupons, Cartwheel app discounts, and 5% Red Card store credit card. Often pretty hard to beat that. I will just take a half star off for the fresh produce which can be a bit pricey relative to the rest of the store, and you are better off going to grocery/Costco for that sometimes. read more

I've never been much for frozen foods. Simply because most of them aren't worth the 30seconds it takes t o heat the water,shake the bag, something blah blah, and what ever other instant task the back of the container says. Well during my many adventures to this Target store I found P.F Changs frozen meals in a bag. It was great.. Now the question is. Was it great because it was $6.99 at Target or we didn't spend $30 bucks to eat chicken stir fry plus tip.. Thanks Target. The store is always busy but very clean. I've been to a few Targets where there are always items open or left laying around so carelessly. I've found that this Target is more room then the one at Queens center mall. An decently stocked when there's a sale if you come at the right time.. They now serve fresh produce at Target. read more

Why do I go to this Target? They never have what I am looking for even if their app says they do. The experience is very unpleasant to begin with. The merchandise is laid out horribly. You can't find anything even though the racks are filled. It has just too much stuff but not the right stuff. The only section of the store I enjoy is the Magnolia market.
