Tonight however was a different story. So Yelp has the hours open until 9pm (which is apparently not correct.) I arrived at 8:16pm to a clerk behind the register folding and the doors locked. I knocked politely where she just shook her head. I then held up 9 fingers and asked if that was their hours and she proceeded to look at me- ignore me- then walk to the back of the store to continue what she was doing. She then came back to the register and refused to make eye contact. Really? The courteous thing to do would approach the door and just say "I'm sorry, we are closed." I looked at the hours after this exchange to see that they indeed closed at 8pm. (Thanks Yelp) Moral of the story. Be nice. I don't care that it's the end of your work day - just pay customers with respect.

I shop for cds, dvds, and blue-rays, which this store doesn't carry due to limited space. I saw a few books for sale, but I didn't see a bookshelf full of books for sale. Therefore, for me, the store is not on my list of stores to visit regularly. However, if you don't shop for what I shop for, this store could be for you. The women who worked there were very nice and helpful. Parking there is a bit difficult, but you can find parking, even if you have to pay for a parking meter. There is no parking lot. Seems like a cool idea for a hot minute, jury's still out on the earrings. Will let you know. Elaine showed us the birthday party package and sounds like a great idea. Will investigate further when the time comes. There are themes and extra favors to add to the already reasonably priced package. I grew up going to a Claire's in my local neighborhood so it's cool that they still sell fun accessories for kids through teens. Their prices are still very affordable and they carry trendy trinkets. I was so excited because I really love shopping at an Old Navy store more than GAP. Change is always amazing at Bay Terrace...don't you think!?! This would be the most convenient location as I can just walk over from my house. The other locations are a bit far like Skyview Center which I would need to hop on a bus and Triangle Plaza which I would need my dad to drive me there.
