Express has been around for years. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this location. I still own tank tops I purchased at Express years ago. They have held their shape and the colors are still pretty good. They have always had great sales. There's one going on right now. I love the jeans but I happened to be wearing a pair just like the manikin in the window. At my age I have enough clothes to last for the rest of my life! I rarely need anything. That doesn't stop me from trying to get my daughter inside. I really don't understand why she won't consider their clothes. This is a nice location too. I'm a fan! read more

So yeah, I was shopping in a mall out in Queens. Dropped into this store to pick up some gear for the bod. Two levels of clothes with the men's collection on top floor. Pretty modern looking design and cleanly organized the day I was there. Nice selection of clothes for us dudes. Helpful staff for the most part but I had to flag them down at times when I had questions or needed access to the fitting rooms. Their's has an annoying policy that the rooms are locked and you need to be buzzed in to go and try something on. Decent sales going on and I was able to score some killer graphic T's and shirts with some cool savings. Gotta look fit and sexy! read more

I hate to attach this to the Queens Center Mall site, but I ordered online and had the most unsatisfying experience. I tried to return a top that did not match the color on the site and was informed I would have to pay $6.99 to return. At their level of retail, they should be offering free returns, especially when it is due to poor examples of merchandise on their site. read more

Express happens to be one of my favorite stores at the Queens Center. It's a versatile brand that brings quality and style for those looking for a fashionable edge. But of course, fashion is not cheap and neither is Express. The store itself is clean, hip, sophisticated, and well spaced out to keep the place from ever getting too stuffy. Speaking of stuffy, that's about the only way I can describe the staff. They're not exactly helpful and have scoffed at me before while I perused their clearance section. I guess they don't think it's a recession just yet. I am a fan of their suits and there seems to be a good bundle here. I would recommend coming here for their seasonal sales, where they lower prices and throw in a 2 for 1 deal. read more

I came here to return my online purchase. Although the blouses I purchased fit, I was unsatisfied with the feel and the way the blouses looked. My transaction was a smooth one. I was in and out in under five minutes. If you're returning something you bought online the cashier has to call it in. She will give your online receipt with a confirmation #. I came to this store today around 10:35am. Sadly the team is only focused on projects. I was looking for 1 item, and the only person that greeted me was the front door guard. I had to ask an employee who was focused on marking down pants, then helping people. Where are the days when customer service was most important. This is why online business it's taking over retail. So if you're in the market for trendy attire, this is one of the places to visit. The prices at times can be ridiculous for some of the items and I can admit that openly. Why am I paying $54.50 for a pair of cargo shorts again? What is this? The bastard child of Bergdorf Goodman and Banana Republic? Nonetheless, overall, this store will give you the tools you need to dress nicely. I'm not a fan of their jeans because I'm a Diesel man at heart. But there are many who love their designs. Their shirts are where I find myself at home. you cannot beat their MK2 Fitted Shirts. Unbelievable fabric and definitely appears well on your frame. They're about $60 but are better than pretty much any other shirt I've come across. The suits are not the best in my opinion. As far as this particular store goes, there always happens to be good selection; size, color, etc. The staff is definitely friendly and since I frequent often, they know exactly what I would be interested in purchasing. I recommend for men, purchasing the "Original" Producer pants. The current Producers are not the Original so the fit is much different (straight leg). They're really great for the office, since they give off this classic/dressy appeal. read more

To start off this express wasnt where it is located inside the mall at first, it got moved due to Apple being constructed right where this express use to be. Now express is right across from the Apple store and it is now 2 floor divided into men and women sections. this location is now alot more modern then what it use to look before the prices are the same but for some odd reason it has more selections for both sexes then it did before. crazy what giving a store more space can do for you. This express is very modern it feels like you are in a different mall when you enter this location due to enviorment and the feel, This express is located inside the queens center mall like i said across from the apple store. read more

I never have reviewed or even thought of reviewing a clothing store. Because how much can a clothing store offer? You get clothes, you pay and you get out. But the customer service was by far one of the best experiences I've had. You're probably thinking 'Well, they're trying to sell you clothes. That's why they're being so nice to you.' NO. That's not what I meant. They weren't selling me any items but their service was really beyond what they have to do for a customer. Tough to explain without getting specific...But all of the girls who worked that day worked cohesively and helped me with what I needed. Great attitude and offered to help, if one didn't have the answer, she went and asked another coworker herself. (this might sound basic but should we take things for granted anymore/?) anyway, 5 stars in itself says a lot about this store. read more

Huge long lines and awful customer service. I was waiting on a line for 30 minutes with cashiers taking their sweet time checking people out, almost intentionally going slow. The line was so large it almost got to the door. Unless you have loads of time to be frustrated and annoyed on a long static line I suggest you shop online or take yourself to a different location. read more

Best customer service I've ever had in the entire mall! Stacey B is a star! She was so attentive, helpful, professional, and accommodating. The store itself is a breath of fresh freakin' air! After many hours wasted at other stores (especially F21 which only had Smalls on their overstuffed racks with a few mediums sprinkled throughout their entire store! (excluding their plus size section which was just hideous!!) full of repulsive colors and qualities) I was about to give up!! Express ranges from XS - a true XL without skimping on quality or robbing their clients of their youth with fun, professional, flirty, classy, clubby, and casual clothes. Huge improvement over the previous location, which was across from this current store. I couldn't even browse around the old store without hitting either the never-ending checkout or register line. This new store layout is more hip and trendy, with stairs leading up to the second story for men's. Their dressing room on the women's floor is at the right corner of the store and the register is all the way on the left. They even have a denim room where they keep their jeans and leggings (as well as their sales rack behind the wall). I love their barely boot and skinny jeans and am always waiting for their sales and coupons, which bring their price tags down to a lovely and more reasonable number. Sale associates are also MUCH more helpful, from assisting you in finding your size to recommending clothes they think you might also like or would complete the outfit. One MAJOR thing I did not like was only being able to bring in 6 items with you into the dressing room (and leaving the rest outside the dressing room door). I don't understand how this policy is effective for them. If anything, it creates a hassle for their customers who are looking into purchasing a lot of their items. read more

I'm addicted to shopping at Express. This location has better items than the others for both men and women. There are also many fitting rooms so you really don't have to wait unless its the holiday season. The lines can get long but what else can you expect in a mall. I really like the dress clothes that Express offers. The suits fit well, the dress shirts are durable, and the colors are great. read more

Only reason they are getting two stars is because the lady at the register was nice enough to accept my coupon after purchasing the items. Bring a book with you because their lines are LONGGGG and SLOWW. I don't know if its the slow ass cashiers or the idiot customers who stay with the same cashier for 20 mins (i kid you not, i timed it). This store seems to always be understaffed as even the lines for the dressing rooms are LONG and it they seem to be juggling employees between the dressing rooms, cashiers, and floor people. I'd rather go to the LI Express or Manhattan location. read more

Great prices, looks like everything was on sale today plus the girl at the front desk mentioned a few other offers they had in store which I missed. One of the poorest excuses for an Express store. I went in during an off peak time and the store was and absolute pigsty. One of the sale "bins" was just a mountain of jeans, sweaters, underwear, socks, ties....I was waiting for a sales associate to pop out and scream "BOO!". WTF? My complaint consists of two purchases made at the Express Store in Queens Center Mall. First purchase was in August of 2015 for a men's suit on my Express NEXT card. When I first wore the suit and within in an hour I realized that linen on the right arm is damaged about 2cm barely noticeable when worn. I didn't even see it myself my wife pointed it out when we were headed to our evening event. At my next visit to the store on 1/30/16 I expressed my concern about the suit with the sales person Lea and she said since it's over 90 days they won't return it but will be able to exchange it for an exact item for quality assurance and I should bring the item back when I get a chance and I purchased another item for my wife as a gift (again used my Express NEXT card - they looked up my information since I didn't have my card with me) and left the store. Today me and my wife went back to the store to purchase some more items and also exchange the two items one was damaged as I mentioned above and second was the wrong size that I purchased for my wife. I spoke to Lea and she denied ever speaking to be about the item and said they can't do anything because the tags were not attached to the item any more and it's over 90 days and she left us and went two the other level of the store so she won't have to deal with us. While waiting for about 15 minute for someone to help us Hector came and looked at the receipt and said he can't do anything for the first item because the tags are not attached and he won't be able to return or exchange the second item because I don't have my Express NEXT card with me (because they have to scan the card to exchange - while making the purchase they can look up and not when exchanging the item). I called customer service and spoke to Tiffany who said that she will call the store and put me on hold after a few min she comes back says the store will only return the second item. I asked to speak to a supervisor and i was told that someone will contact me in 3-5 days. Hector returned without me having my card with me. This is bad customer service and never want to shop at this store or may be with Express again. read more

I'm a big fan of Express and even a bigger fan of the one in the Queens Center mall. It's not crowded and its well organized. Shirts that might not be in stock in the 34th st Express are most likely in stock here. Ofcourse the clothes is awesome and the store looks high end. The employees are not always easy to access but they're there. One thing I don't like is Express isn't exactly a guys guy store but if you walk out with something from Express no ones going to doubt your wallet or your style. read more

Flat out arguing with customers in the store. What ever happened to assisting the customers needs? After all if there are no customers the stores profit will go down the drain. Absolute jungle in here. Everything is a complete mess. This is the most unorganized and unprofessional Express store I ever been to. Nobody cared to help and there's just clothes thrown every where. The line moves ridiculously slow. The people at cash register don't know how to count bills. I don't think I'm coming to Queens Center ever again. This mall completely sucks. Usually empty, store is well kept. Finding help here is easy. The location is much better than where it used to be.
