Despite only making an appointment 2 hours prior, Sylvia allowed me to try on as many as I wanted and was super helpful in helping me decide among options. I found brocade styles that I've never seen at other stores or online. I came back several months later (timed with a work trip) to try on what I had ordered -- it had to be shipped from China. I thought I would have to return for a third trip to pick up my tailoring but no, Sylvia made adjustments while I got lunch in Flushing and I took it home that afternoon! I could not recommend making the trek out here more.

I asked for a phone number or if there was a store that we could go to instead of this game of back and forth with returns, I got a number that did not work and nothing else addressed. I replied stating number was not working to please provide a functioning number bc I needed a resolution; I got a copy and paste of my original message. This was a complete shit show. And ofc, there's no rebates so I'm stuck... I finally said send me this other that has a corset with no zipper. I copied and pasted the dress I found. Do you think they came back and asked... hey what color would you like? Or hey what size would you like? Nope I got gold dress in size 0 order placed. I sent them a message saying no I want the dress in black and size 2 would be preferable since the dresses seem to be running small. My reply " the picture in your email showed dress in gold". WTH!!! I received the new dress and the material is horrible. Sparkles are falling everywhere, the chest area has enough room for two chests, it's loose on my waist but then super snug on rib cage. I'm not a big person at all. I'm 100lbs, and these dresses are not cheap for this poor quality of service. You are supposed to be a sales person that makes everyone comfortable. This same sales girl was helping another woman with her dress and the woman asked if she would wait to try to on when her sister arrived, since she wanted her sister's opinion. The sales girl was mean to her, and said no you should do it now, I would give my opinion. I left the upstairs after seeing how rude she handled the situation. I then tried to talk to the owner and she was beyond rude. She walked away and said that there is no returns at all. She didn't even tried to listen or see how she could help me. I wanted straps added to it and when I take it home and try it on (couldn't try it there because she was closing early to go to court for a traffic violation) one of the straps is sewed on twisted. The dress has a bunch of gems on it and a few were missing and a bunch loose. I take it back to be fixed. When I try it on at home the straps still aren't right. One is close to where the armpit is and the other closer to the middle of my back. I didn't want to eff around with this woman anymore so I fixed the straps myself. If you do buy from her, have alterations done elsewhere. Wish I could leave negative 100 stars
