Shoe Village offers impeccable customer service. When I had a question about my order, I received a personal response almost immediately. And I am so pleased with the Joya shoes I purchased -- they're the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned. read more

Nice selection. We received excellent customer service from Eric today who helped my mom try many styles and sizes.

Excellent customer service, especially from Claire today. I was looking for a rare color+size combination of New Balance shoes... not even the New Balance company stores in Manhattan had them in stock in the stores!... but Shoe Village _did_, and Claire helped me both on the phone and in person to make sure both that I got what I had asked for, and that what I had asked for was a good size fit. Even though it`s a long bus ride from my current home (also in Flushing -- Flushing is _big_), I think I may come here again when it`s time for me to buy another pair of shoes. read more

Shoe Village - Shoe Stores Near Me - Flushing, New York

Who knew that Flushing would have such a great place to buy shoes? Shoe Village has a wide variety of footwear available that I might never have to order shoes online ever again. I don't know about you, but I'm always iffy about ordering shoes online because I like to try them before I buy them. They have UGGs in pretty much every color, style and size you will find on Zappos in the store. You can sit down, try it on, walk around and compare colors before making a purchase. If you're not in the market for UGGs, they have sneakers, rain boots, pumps, snow boots, fashion boots, men's shoes, women's shoes, kids' shoes.. a lot of different kinds of shoes. And if you're not like me and enjoy online shopping, they have a website where you can order the shoes from too. The staff is very nice and helpful. The girl who helped me was very patient when I asked for different colors and styles. Everyone there was friendly and cheerful. The cashier even gave me a free can of waterproof spray for my boots! They have a lot of sales promotions (unfortunately the promotions do not apply to UGGs) and there's free parking! Ladies, get ready. It's time to get your shop on. read more

I'm here for work looked up place to buy some ugg boots for the women in my life was statisfied with there help went the mile to make sure they took care of my needs bought 3 pairs of boots my girls had great Christmas. read more

When it's time to buy shoes, I like to browse slowly with nothing particular in mind. That's what I did at this place. From the second I set foot in the door, someone was either following me around or observing me carefully. How could I, a middle age Caucasian, cause any concern? I had my credit cards with me ready to make a purchase. I felt so uncomfortable I headed for the exit. I'm never going to return to this place again. read more

Its been raining a LOT in ny lately and I wanted to find some rain boots. I got there and unfortunately, their shipment had not come in. I was a little disgruntled, but searched the store for something else. A couple minutes later, a staff member approached me and said that the manager had made a couple suggestions for me because of the lack of rain boots. In the end, I ended up just getting another pair of converse. Haha. But yeah, the staff was SUPER helpful and I'm definitely going back for those rain boots :D read more

This place is huge. I went in and was able to find a pair of Sperry's right off the bat that was 30% off. Took a look on Zappos, Amazon and even froogled it and I couldn't beat the price so I bought it and was pretty happy with the sale. Why did I drop a star? There were 2 workers that I ran into. One young and one slightly older. I assumed the older one was the owner. He was literally walking around like a Korean Ahjushi and when I asked for help on boots he pointed with his chin - over there. When I asked for a pair of socks he said you can find them over there (chin point yet again). He seemed helpful once we started picking up pairs of shoes, but I didn't appreciate that from him. The other person working the counter and helping customers spoke very good English and seemed helpful but I didn't get to interact with him as much. Either way, selection seemed pretty good and the price for their sale items in the back was good so 4*s. read more

I made my first trip to Shoe Village today looking for a pair of sneakers. The store is so much bigger than it looks from the outside and has a large selection, both full price and clearance. I was approached by the most helpful and knowledgeable sales person, I think the owner, who took a scan of my feet, identified my pressure points and sold me the right shoes for optimal comfort and effectiveness. I think the last time I received such good service in a shoe store was 35 years ago. The selection of shoes varies from very affordable to pricey. Something for everyone, of all ages. At checkout, I signed-up to receive email notices with coupons and other discounts. Am definitely going back next time I need to buy any kind of footwear. So glad I found such a good shop just a couple of miles from home. read more

Came here to buy my girlfriend some boots, left wanting to come back for more stuff. the place is huge! like you walk in and the place just gets bigger and bigger as you walk through the sections. Called them to see if they had a specific boot and not only did they tell me if it was in stock, the person on the line took the time to give me colors and options! look, i'm a guy. Unless you tell me specifically what it is you want, ill go in and get the first thing and get out. they took the time to make sure this would work out well! I arrived and spoke with someone, remembered that i called and went to show me the Hunter boot selections in colors, socks etc etc etc. no pressure, no clingy service people. go hear for boots and shoes. they have everything hunter and uggs for ladies and for us men they carry a nice variety of sneakers and clarks read more

My bf and I were already in Queens and I was desperately looking for Hunter rain boots and I didn't feel like shopping or looking for them in the city... So I yelped it and VOILA this store popped up! So I said heck let me give it a try what do I have to lose accept some gas from my car lol. And I really like it in there! So many different selections and brands! It was clean and upkept well! My bf even got to buy his sneakers that he wanted and he saved $20 than if he got it in Brooklyn! We left happy customers we both got what we wanted. My bf said this might be his next go to sneaker spot... It's worth the drive! I recommend! And they footwear for all ages and persons! read more

Good selection. I actually enjoyed shopping here very much. It was the first time I have ever heard of this place and it was recommended to my by a colleague for rain boots. Too bad they don't have size 13 in anything I wanted so I actually had to just order what I saw there on Amazon and get the size I needed. Other than them not having my alien feet size boots, they were very helpful and the store was very clean and the free parking blew me away. I actually parked on the street in metered parking because I didn't believe the sign or thought it was for employees only or something. read more

Amazon and Zappos are great, but what's greater is walking into a shoe store, trying a size above and below, wider, all in 5 minutes and walk out with the shoes you want in 10. If you want to order 4 shoes on Amazon and return all 4 (maybe), be my guest. But if you're local, and want shoes or apparel, this is the place to look. Rarely will you have this selection with as many sizes along with customer service. They have entire warehouses along this side of Queens, which is rare; basically, this will beat any small shop that is limited by space to their basement along a queens street. Lastly, as with any retail experience, try on the shoes at home on a carpet. Literally, just sit on your couch and watch some TV. See how they feel. If there isn't wear and tear, these guys will be super flexible with you. Just be reasonable! read more

Measured me up and sold me two pairs of New Balances, buy one get one free. I remember telling the kid who helped me that they felt slightly tight but he insisted that my toes were where they should be and the shoes would stretch out after I break them in and be perfect. Well, they are a half size too small and killing my feet. I called the store to ask if I could exchange the unworn pair for a half size up and they won't do it. Now I'm stuck with two pairs of shoes I can't wear. I thought the whole point of a mom and pop brick and mortar store was top customer service? I'm trying to return a pair of unworn sneakers that I can't use for a pair I can. $150 wasted. read more

Good selection, but very messy place. I also felt rather unwelcome there, and got no help from the staff. I felt very much like I didn't belong there, and there was something very skeevy about how messy the back showroom was. If I was looking for Uggs this would definitely be the place to go. read more

Shoe village is so huge, it has every style & selection of shoe, the price is also very reasonable. There is also a section of shoe buy that you buy one & get the second one for half price. I came to the store to search for a MBT shoe for myself, their price range from $150 to 270 a pair. Staffs are very friendly & helpful. Beside English they also speak both Chinese & Korean. I only care for the benefit & comfort of the MBT shoe & don't mind about older style & model so I selected a pair of MBT shoe at promotional sale price of $150. read more

I bought Uggs from here, but the salesgirl was not helpful at all. I asked her about the tight fit and she said that that was how all of Uggs fit. I bought it and somehow I struggle for 15-20 minutes to put on my damn expensive $230 shoes which I can't return because I wore them outside. It's a nice store though with good variety otherwise. read more

My first time at this place was today and it was an awesome experience. I came in to buy a pair of Tim's for my brother for Christmas and the employees were very helpful and all greeted me with a smile. I'm assuming the owner is an oriental man who was the most enthusiastic... He was a joy to meet and he even gave me a ten dollar gift certificate to use on my next purchase because of the holidays! I will definitely being coming back to this store. Now that's how you carry out customer service. Oh and did I mention that they have EVERY brand of shoe for good prices... And no they're not fake they're all real! I'm so glad my sister introduced me to this place. read more

yeah... no. came in looking for a pair of flats/sandals to take on a trip. their sandal/shoes are so ugly that i did not pick up one! that said, they do offer my favorite boat shoes (sperry) and they have a rather varied supply of chucks. i did see some rain boots in the back but if i want to do some serious shoe shopping, i will not come here. and they are EXPENSIVE. like i paid less than half for said sperry shoes expensive. was in a rush and didn't bother to look at the ugly-shoe prices. read more

Great selection of shoes! I go there at least twice a year to get shoes for various occasions. From the outside it looks like just a small shoe store, but it is huge! They have a wide selection of Uggs, sneakers, flats, boots, dressy shoes, and everything in between. They also tend to have great sales, and you get your moneys worth. The service is very helpful and extremely polite. I would highly recommend going to Shoe Village. read more

Excellent source for all the best and latest in shoes. Such a valuable business to have in our local area. Forget trekking to the city and crowded shopping malls in LI. They have everything here and at great prices. A family run business that really seems to put the customer first - I am amazed at the wealth of knowledge these guys have on everything to do with your feet and shoes. My husband has extremely flat feet and they took the time to explain the best fits and options without getting annoyed at my hundred questions. Definitely service you won't find at the mall's Steve Madden or Aldo. I stopped ordering my staple Uggs, Toms and Converse online at Zappos and Bloomies because I will always prefer to see and try in person if possible. And since they are always well-stocked with the latest models, I don't have to resort to just shopping online anymore. We also take advantage of their outlet section and their sales for BOGO half off. And when I bought Birks that weren't quite working out for me - they made the return hassle-free and didn't give me a damn guilt trip about it. Kudos to Shoe Village for making luxury and everyday brands available to all of us living in the Flushing/Bayside area! read more
