Carla, rudely ignored me as I was asking to purchase a bottle of Mademoiselle, she didn't turn around to face me.
Abraham M.

Ladies fragrances encounter by crude, rude CARLA.. On March 21,26 about 11:00 AM. I walked over to the CHANEL counter ( not the skincare and makeup counter .) I noticed a sales associate standing behind the counter and I said" good morning, do work for Chanel?" She very rudely turned her back on me and said " I WORK FOR MACY'S PERIOD!" Well, okay, I'd like to purchase a bottle of Mademoiselle please. " Don't you see that I'm busy." She never turned to face me, hence I snapped her photo from the side . I couldn't believe that she was so incredibly rude. I walked away and moments later she was standing with colleagues complaining about customers expecting her to stop counting her samples to sell something. Really? As a platinum card holder I expect a higher level of customer care and respect. I don't believe that she realizes how replaceable she is. I walked over to the CHANEL makeup counter where I made my purchase and was given a first-class experience. Photos attached are of that woman CARLA ignoring me and then complaining to colleagues.,

Security tags INSIDE THE BOX of the item we (over)paid for.

Store is suffocatingly hot, feels like little or no AC. We paid for two CK multipacks and of course upon getting home and opening them there were SECURITY TAGS INSIDE THE BOX. So they are completely unwearable. Cashier removed tags from other clothes but not these. One is final sale so unsure if we will even be able to return them. All this after standing in that store for hours feeling like keeling over from the heat and nowhere to sit. I genuinely can't remember one time I've left this location feeling anything other than regret. Absolute waste of time every time. Would never have left a review because Macy's doesn't exactly have the best reputation but this is really truly next level. Maybe this time I'll learn my lesson.

This review is for the EV charging station. Didn't know that charging in Queens/NYC requires you to pay for garage parking plus EV fees! (There are other charging stations located next to gas stations that don't require garage fees.) Typically it's $6 for 2 hours, but still the garage fee adds up! We came here around 8 AM on a weekday. There were a number of Telsla and non-Telsla charging stations. There were a number of people just hanging out by their Telsla charging portals. I was confused why they don't just go inside the mall. And then I realized that the mall wouldn't open until 10 AM. Also later I found out that if you let your car just sit there after the charge is full, you will be charged with additional fees of idling. So when in NYC, you gotta do what the New Yorkers do. I ended up walking down and back up on the car ramps, fortunately no cars around because the mall wasn't officially open. It was around $15 for around 100 miles, plus $6 of parking fee. I'd say it's fairly reasonable for charging in the city. Convenience? Hmm, not so sure.

Macy's is fine at this location. I always enjoy my visit. The employees are very nice and helpful never a problem with customer service. My concern with Macy's as a company is the fact that after years my daughter's Macy's card was canceled! She made a purchase today regardless and will reapply for the Macy's card. She was told she would get 20% off her purchase applying for a card. Her card was cancelled because she didn't use it for a while. So today naturally I freaked out even though I just received my new Macy's American Express card this week! It's good until 2027. The sale for bras was excellent so I bought two saving a bundle. $48 original price a bra for two bras that I purchased for $24.90 each. I really don't need anything else in the clothing or shoes or anything period. I guess I just don't want my credit card cancelled for lack of use. The bra felt comfortable and I'm sure it will last years. I bought my last bra at Macy's. My mother always said Macys is good quality and they have great sale prices. I'm still recommending.

As far as Macy's locations go this one isn't bad. Nothing comparable to the Herald Square location, but that one is the grand daddy of them all. This one is located in the Queens Center Mall. As with Manhattan location there are multiple levels for women's and men's items. Some areas can be a bit disorganized, and the dressing rooms can be a bit messy, but overall it's not a bad shopping experience. Can get really crowded on weekends. If you time it right you can get decent sales here so never pay full price.

Nothing is compared to 34 street Macy's but overall this location is great with their inventory. The store has 5 floors including the ground floor dedicated to exclusively men clothes, accessories, and shoes. The first floor has: jewelry, customer service, juniors department, shoes, makeup, and handbags. Second floor: dedicated to exclusively women's clothes and lingerie. Third floor: is all about home products and luggage. There's a top floor which is exclusively for children and often you will find women's winter jackets as well. This is a busy location especially during the weekend and street parking is a hassle in this area. There's a parking lot at the JCPenney wing and Macy's wing that is charged per the hours. Probably that is one thing, I don't like is the lack of availability of free parking but then this a congested busy area. They have great products as I usually get the items I need. If you love Godiva they have a section for it on the 3rd floor also you can find small items at the registers. Overall the store is clean not exceptionally clean but it's good. Employees for the makeup department are great as they are willing to help always. During my recent trip, I wasn't happy with the customer service department as they were truly lacking common understanding about the importance of meeting customer expectations. First of all there's no clear signs stating the line for pick up is on the right and returns on the left. Very few employees available at the register to expedite the process of returns and pick up. I saw like 2 employees standing and just giggling when the line is like extending to the juniors department. For pick up they only had 1 employee working and the line was long. I am not sure how is it possible for 1 person to go back and forth to pick up the items from their storage. That is poor coordination by the manager on duty. Simply taking 1 star off for customer service!! Otherwise I love Macy's!!!

The store where I was harassed.

Salamander stores are selling low quality shoes. Prices are too high. If you buy shoes and realise they are not comfortable you cannot return them even if they are not used. Saleswoman are extremely rude and start to yell if you asked them to be more helpful. I am never going to buy anything in these stores and advise same to you.

So being a Queens kid for life, this Macy's and this location truly has a special place in my heart. I don't know what it is that makes it stand out more than the others but the customer service is unbeatable the people that work there at this Macy's, or truly genuine, who care for the customers needs in this day, and age of online commerce and shopping, and to me, nothing beats an experience of walking into Macys and receiving help, and I hope others get to experience this at this location. Gabriel, Jacob and Nelson were excellent and helping me find some of the perfume and clothing that I really really liked

This is always my to go store whenever I need anything while in the City. There's always something going worth stopping by to watch or see while in Macy's. It's always bustling with a busy crowd, activities and sales. Depending on what you need, there always a great selections to choose from which are affordable. Great location in the City amidst the shopping district in Midtown.

The worst customer service. Especially "manager" Carmen. Worst attitude and had to wait 40 min on the line plus 20 min for her to come.

Great sale but not enough registers open. Too many associates and managers just standing around talking to each other. Makes no sense.

Their online business saved them from Chapter 11. They operate under Taylor Brand. I have been shopping MWH for decades and found some amazing outfits at the store or online. Aboud is my absolutely favorite label at this store. Everything he designs is superb. The return policy is amazing, the service at the store is superb and the sales staff is attentive and friendly. The manager is very professional and attentive. The Rewards program is particularly appealing since everything you buy, has rewards point. You can easily mass up enough points to get lots of free stuff. The alterations program is superior in that once you pay for the first alteration, they will alter your garment for free if you loose or gain weight. Once at the wedding I realized that the jacket turned out to be too tight and I had to leave it unbuttoned all night-for pictures and all. Also, the pants were returned to me from the tailor at Men's Warehouse with a double crease. I went back after the wedding to get it fixed but was told by a manager that I had to dry clean the suit before any further alterations could be performed. I followed up and came back after dry cleaning the suit, only to be told that the jacket could not be altered to fit me. So 3 trips to Men's Warehouse later, an ill-fitting suit and $600 in the trash-with a suit I can't wear anymore, I think I'll cut my losses here -- lesson learned. My advise. . . . stay away from this business.
