Bottomless salad, love the blue cheese crumbles and vinegrette dressing.

We dined here on a Tuesday night during the Holidays and it was busy. Saw reviews about slow service. It wasn't the case for us, our server Sydney was great! We mainly come here for the gumbo and bottomless salad. Along with their warm french bread and whipped butter. Prices are reasonable and the ambience is warm and inviting.

Brunch berries, melon, and pastry plate

Looking for a new Sunday brunch venue we decided to visit Mac's on Main today and are very happy to have now discovered this great brunch spot. I'm not at all crazy about the way the restaurant is partitioned into these various smaller areas. It feels confined, isolated and claustrophobic to me. I like to experience the vibe of an entire restaurant scene when I dine out. That's an important part of a restaurant experience for me. But, that's just me. Mac's offers an expansive brunch menu and a nice wine list. My wife began with a mimosa ($4.50!) and I a Maker''s Old Fashioned. The Old Fashioned was exceptionally well done. Perfectly bourbon forward with just the right amount of simple syrup and bitters. A+. We decided to share the Eggs Point St. George, a Bene with lump crab meat (not a crab cake). The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The Hollandaise was standard Hollandaise fare which I perked up a bit to my taste with some hot sauce. Though we shared the entree we each received a plate consisting of a generous portion of berries, melon and fresh pineapple, all of which were perfectly ripe and sweet. The plate also includes a couple of small absolutely delicious cinnamon and sugar pastries. See my pic. Our server today was perfectly attentive from start to finish. I can see this becoming a regular brunch destination for us.

We came in on Saturday night without a reservation and a manager did her best to fit us in. Our party of five wasn't all there yet so we had a drink at the bar. Two Tito martinis that were made well but were small, 3 ounces but the price was right. Once seated, we Ordered our entrées with side salads. It was unlimited salad so that was satisfying. I ordered the pork chops, which were fabulous. Came with two chops and I substituted a vegetable for the starchy carb. Others had prime rib, which came out way too rare, grilled shrimp, and the fried chicken. Also, one had a fillet that was bacon wrapped, but that was pulled off immediately. That always screams prepackaged fillet to me, but she said it was good. The dining room is different and I couldn't put my finger on it until later when I realized it didn't have any carpet so maybe that was what was throwing me off. Bar area was nice and you're able to eat a full meal there. I must say, there drinks are priced right. No gouging. Service was very good and the restaurant was clean.

I had a friend in town who wanted to experience Main st. I wanted to try something new so we went with Macs. I feel this place has so much potential, nice location, nice ambiance, nice menu. It just lacks flavor! Everything we had, was 0 flavor. Let's start with the salad. The waiter claimed it was the equivalent to Olive Garden. Not even close. He said everyone raves about the house Vinaigrette dressing, It tasted like oil to me, no taste. The tomatoes with the salad were mush. Now for the entrees. Had the filet w/mash and the Grilled Gulf shrimp over rice and Jicama salsa. Once again, everything was bland. I had to eat the mangos with the jacima salsa to make the shrimp flavorful. Service was great and prices are reasonable but you get what you pay for and this was average. Some may enjoy Mac's, but it didn't trigger my pallete.

Went here for a work trip with 7 other coworkers. Overall, we enjoyed the food and had a really good time here! We ordered several apps to share (the calamari, scallops, and poke). The poke was my favorite of the three. I ordered the Scottish salmon and the Mac and cheese as a side. They say the salmon is cooked medium rare. I found the edges dry, but the medium-rare part in the middle was definitely the best. The Mac and cheese was also a solid side. The service was super friendly, but a little slow for ordering and getting food. We appreciated that they were so accommodating of a large group.

Korean Mandu, tasty!

We enjoyed lunch here today. Started with the Mandu and Gumbo. Both tasty. Fam had Chicken Fried Steak and Chicken Fried Chicken were both very good. Mashed potatoes with basil were unique, and good. Service was good as well. We will come back!

Ordered the scallop appetizer and it was delicious. I had the prime rib and it was so tender my husband had the ahi tuna and it was up to his expectations. We were given a complimentary slice of key lime pie for his birthday. The overall experience was excellent. Our waiter Alex R. was awesome. This was our first time here but it will not be our last.

My guy took me here for my Birthday Dinner and I wasn't disappointed. At the end of Main Street in Grapevine so perfect to walk around after eating. Everything we had was delicious and our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. I'll definitely come back!

Just as good as last time. Food, service, everything. They got me right in with no reservation but probably advise getting one. I really do like this place. Got prime rib again and looked just like the original pic.

Salad Unlimited - delicious

"Why have we never been here before?" "Because we're dumb." This was restated frequently during our 12.08.23 visit here for Happy Hour and a meal. We sat at the bar and were taken care of by the amazing Savannah, who hustles drinks and food like very few can. We both ordered the gumbo and unlimited salad, which also comes with house made bread. The beautifully simple salad came out accompanied by chilled serving plates. If you like bleu cheese, this is the salad for you! Romaine lettuce topped with tomatoes, onions and bleu cheese mixed with a delicious house dressing - more, please! And the bread - light fluffy warm bread served on a hot plate with a side of whipped butter - that just says it all. Our gumbo was excellent and hearty. I have never had gumbo in Louisiana, so I couldn't speak to its authenticity, but it was very tasty. With the attention given to the other dishes we saw rolling out of the kitchen, I am sure this gumbo is legit. And as good as it was, it doesn't matter. For the service and great food, this will be a new habit to make and look forward to. Highly recommend.

Eggs Florentine

My first time to this location; we went for Sunday brunch. I really miss the days of the buffet and the fresh cinnamon roll; most of my rolls were hard as a rock. Server was a bit neglectful when it came to filling our waters and bringing us the bill. The restaurant has the same feel as the Arlington location but this one has a patio which is a nice addition. My Eggs Florentine was tasty; the eggs were cooked perfectly. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes, too much salt for me. Parking is available on the street or a public lot northwest of location.

Salmon was delicious. Service was good. Endless salad has been a staple for years at Mac's. It was fresh and tasty as ever.

The pork drop was a little bit sweet on the outside and crispy and the inside was juicy. It also comes with the small side of applesauce and mashed potatoes. We also got beef carpaccio to share which was a nice light appetizer to start the meal. We ended the meal with bread pudding and it was amazing. Service was good and fairly quick even though it was packed for Friday lunch. If anything come here on Friday before 5:00 to get the pork chop deal.

It was okay, but really just the potatoes you get on the side with added steak and eggs. (so don't bother unless you love their potatoes). I sadly didn't take a photo of my own food, but got the hash photo into the Yelp gallery for this place. You are welcome!

My Marriott elite status meant we started with a free glass of champagne for the wife and I, and it was very good quality. Our server, Debbie, was incredible. She was efficient, friendly, and professional. Imagine a friend who brings you whatever you want, sort of like that. Service was impeccable from start to finish and could not have been better. The ambience is upscale and sophisticated. It feels like a quality experience, and that is what you get. I started with the broiled oysters and they were excellent. We are trying to stay away from raw oysters so the broiled oysters were a nice compromise. The flavor was perfect: not fishy, no smell, no weird aftertaste. I would get them again. The wife started with the beet and burrata salad and loved it. For entrees, I had the center cut filet mignon and it was perfect. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to medium exactly as I requested. I added a baked potato and it was enormous, enough to be an entree unto itself. It was covered with bacon bits, sour cream, and a cheese sauce that reminded me of nacho cheese. I could not possibly eat it all because it was so large. The wife had the lamb chops and they were incredible. The meat is melt in your mouth tender. No strong lamb flavor. I am not a big lamb fan but I have to say, it was really really good. She added the chipotle creamed corn on the side and it was very good. Drinks: I can't forget the drinks. I had some Mexican martinis and they were excellent. A sour and tangy drink that quickly becomes addictive. The wife had a mezcal drink that with the words "illegal" in the title but I don't remember the full name. Wow, it was good. It has mezcal, mole bitters, and something else. The drink is smoky, slightly sweet, and completely captivating. I could drink about five of those! The wife limited herself to two. Dessert: I had some kind of pastry with pears and blue cheese. It was good but I really don't know why I ordered it since I was already completely full from the steak and potato. The wife and kid shared some kind of chocolate ball thing that I did not really pay attention to because I was helping the wife with her second mezcal drink. They loved the dessert. We waddled back to our room, completely stuffed and feeling fine from the drinks. The meal was expensive, but the quality is there. The chef or chefs are very talented.
