My family and I love this place for breakfast, we don't really go at any other time, so this review is just about the morning crew and food. It's a no frills breakfast joint, so don't go in looking for a 3 Michelin experience. The staff is friendly, the food is classic southern breakfast fare, and the coffee is always, always good. I won't go anywhere else for breakfast. Pro tip: get the hungry man and share if you want a little bit of everything. We have kids, and it's hard to know what they'll eat day to day. I was very underwhelmed by Macs. My eggs were runny, french toast was undercooked, and I'm pretty sure the "ham" came from a can. Also they don't have poached eggs. The only nice thing about my breakfast experience was the waitress. read more

Super yummy and the service was fantastic. Great with the water refills, coffee refills. Mushroom omelette was fantastic, grits were great and butter. Big biscuit we all shared. The parking lot was 1/2 full so we could not determine if that was a good sign or bad. Disappointed after reading all the great reviews. I ordered French toast with medium eggs and sausage patty. The French toast was not done but mussy, the sausage had no flavor, cardboard would substitute with no difference in taste, the eggs were done right and don't expect a refill on your coffee. I have eaten here before and never had a bad thing to say about our visit. This time service was absolutely horrible. After delivering the food, I would expect someone to come by and ask how everything was and if we needed anything. Never happened. We had to ask a server for more coffee and when we said thank you she said hmmm. I am usually a very good tipper but also tip according to our service. I left a $2.00 tip on a $24.00 check which due to the service and when I left I heard the cashier say $2.00. Furthermore when I went to pay the cashier held my cc away from my hand and continued to look out the window. I held my hand out and waited for her to acknowledge and actually hand me the card. My wife and I agreed never to go back there again. There are plenty of food sevices that actually want our buisness. read more

Most amazing restaurant I've ever been in. Every waitstaff waits on every table. We sat close to the kitchen door and caught on quickly to their rotation pattern. The waitstaff make a circle around the restaurant and visually check each table for needs...if they see you need something, they go get it. No more searching for "your" waitperson. We stopped here on the way back to Georgia. I should have stopped a Biscuitville or somewhere else. You seat yourself which is ok but I prefer having a hostess as it's more personable. I ordered two eggs scrambled hard and my wife ordered her eggs scrambled hard with cheese. I have only been to one other restaurant where if you ask for eggs with cheese that they melt a slice of cheese on top. That doesn't taste good and it is lazy! How about using shredded cheese and cooking it with the eggs? While you're at it, add some salt and pepper to the eggs. Those were some of the blandest eggs I've ever had. I did add pepper to mine. No dice. The pancakes were meh. The bacon was about the best part of the meal. Very lackluster meal. We left highly disappointed. We will not return again. read more

WE went in last Sunday on the 25 th of May and the food was nasty.The eggs were not cooked right and my financee asked for eggs cooked on medium and the eggs were raw.The hash browns were nasty and burnt.Does anyone At Mac,s know how to cook?I think not!!!! I have been in there many times abnd as always the food is terrible!!!! I think all the cooks need to go back to culinary school and learn how to cook.The waitress we had even agree with the eggs raw and showed it to the manager.The manager said that the eggs were cooked right.I think this so called manager needs to go to culinary school to.In my opinion stay far away from mac,s breakfast it,s not worth the money!!!!
