Came across Mack's while looking for breakfast in the area with a hangry kid and husband, and so glad I did. I got a ricotta toast which was on really delicious rustic bread. Nice and light. My husband and son shared the blueberry French toast which of course I had to try. It was wonderful! Not too sweet just a bit heavy for me. We were seated upstairs which had a beautiful trellis and big skylights. As a plant person, I appreciated all the live hanging plants. Great service!! read more

I read an article about this new place in town and figured I would give it a shot. When I walked in I was greeted and felt very welcomed. The decor was absolutely stunning. I ordered the special of the week which was Cannoli French Toast and I literally cannot put in words how incredible this was. It tasted as good as it looked. This place has a very cool vibe, I already planned a brunch date with some friends and am thinking about booking the space for a bridal shower. Extremely disappointing brunch. Ordered the candied bacon and sweet potato latkes to start- both had almost no flavor- idk how that's even possible. Ordered the strawberries and cream French toast- literally bread with minimal cinnamon/sugar, a bowl of reddi whip and some poorly cut, unripe strawberries. The "apple" corned beef hash had zero apple flavor- I even questioned if any apples were in it because my boyfriend's came with apple slices on top, mine did not. I figured maybe it literally meant corned beef hash with some apples on top (no apparently it is inside too you just can't taste it). Ordered my eggs over medium and they came out over easy (the white was still gooey and inedible, which is why I always order over medium). Service was ok, place is cute (but very loud), food sucks. Save your money and go to a diner. Better food, half the price. Just as disappointing as Culture was. read more

Highly disappointed. I went with a friend this Friday around noon and walked into a completely empty room. One waiter was rude. Another was sitting at the bar on her phone the whole time. Took her 10 min to come to us. My friend's iced coffee was too sweet and couldn't drink it. I got some pancakes that were so greasy and artificial tasting. My friends French toast bites were ok but nothing great. I will not be coming back here. read more

The general manager was so disrespectful to his servers/hostess. My friend and I are both servers elsewhere and we were in complete SHOCK at the way he was speaking to them. The servers seemed very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice.. Our espresso martinis made by the general manager were very presentable and aesthetically pleasing which was a plus but the taste was very bitter and hard to get down. read more

Arrived on a Sunday morning, got greeted and seated right away. Waiter came right over with menus and offered us a fresh cup of coffee. The decor was beautiful! Top to bottom you can see the thought that went into every detail. Good menu with stuff for everyone and hitting every brunch category. Our food came out fast and hot! Everything was delicious especially the banana bread French toast awesome friendly local spot, felt like home plus comfort food. Absolutely in love with the chicken and waffles. We come every weekend! The staff is pleasant and professional and the decor is beautiful.

Do not go to this restaurant. We went to this restaurant the week it open in April and did not have a good experience but thought we would give it another try!! Today, the experience was even worse. The service is terrible-our waitress was a complete nightmare- forgot to put in our order - we waited forever and received no offset of any sort. She was not too busy just completely uninterested. Came out to Mack's to meet a friend for breakfast and was the place was so charming inside. Super cool old mirrors hung all around. I got steak and eggs which came with really delicious breakfast potatoes. My waitress was nice as could be and the manager made it a point to come over and check on us. I accidentally knocked over my first drink and they were quick to replace it for me. So happy to have a decent brunch spot in the village! Can't wait to come back! read more

It's refreshing to have excellent service and food at the same time. Our server Monica was attentive and incredible. We had the potato croquettes to start and the crispy outside and soft inside made me feel like I was heaven. My girlfriend and I had a couple of French martinis while we waited for our meals. The smooth flavors of the drink really complemented the tranquil atmosphere of the restaurant. Our entrees come out very fast. I had the short rib quesadilla and my girlfriend had the Chicken Pot Pie. I am a quesadilla connoisseur, so believe me when I say the flavors of the barbecue sauce and short rib had me dancing in my seat. My girlfriend was doing her own jig while digging into her steaming hot pie. Chunky and delicious just like her boyfriend. We had some awesome movie conversations with the owner and he sold us on a "Just For You" dessert which was the perfect cherry on top of this wonderful dining experience. Food was terrible. Took over a hour to get our food and came out with the wrong things and half of it was undercooked. The egg on my plate looked like they cracked the egg raw on the plate and took it out. Great ambiance in the restaurant but do not go there it was not good. read more

Don't waste your money! Absolutely terrible!!! My wife and I went there last Sunday. I ordered the avocado toast platter, I was served what seemed to be bread out of the bag it wasn't toasted and it had guacamole that you buy at a supermarket. wow, what a wonderful time my wife and i had this morning !!!!! i miss those mornings that will catch you by surprise; that we definetely experienced at Macks!! My wife had been begging me to go, her and her friends went and tried the soft opening chefs tasting last week!! she loved it and begged me to go back with her, so she could try the brunch menu.!! i wasnt crazy hungry but i wanted to take her, figuring id just get a cup of coffee and keep her company. although she's been there before, i have not. At first sight you just see a two story building, thats painted a dark grey, stamped with the Macks logo. But when you walk in; well its quite something else!!! absolutely beautiful little quaint brunch spot. Small, intimate, but still family friendly. their were families tucked in with their strollers. Almost seemed as they frequented often. you could tell by the repetoire between them and the staff. who also were absolutely terrific! Nothin but the best there!! id like to say a Thank you to our waiter anthony especially. he went above and beyond for us. The manager was very kind and accommodating. And i dont want to forget the super sweet hostess! She sat us at a wonderful table with the perfect amount of sunlight, and continually checked on us during our visit. As i had mentioned earlier, i wasnt too hungry. however anthony recommended the french toast bite appetizer., which he was 100% spot on!! The best part is that the app is only $10 !!!!! So if you are ever contemplating going out , because of money, you and a guest can share this HUGE portion as a meal!!!! Went twice. Menu looks great, but food doesn't come out great. Service is sooooo slow. Food cold. First time we went the home fries were raw, couldn't even eat. Second time I Got eggs Benedict with no hollandaise sauce, then I asked for hollandaise sauce since mine had none, took them forever to bring it out, it was COLD and scrambled with 0 flavor. Oh and they charged me 2$ for it!!!!! I was with my friend who ordered a meal with sausage gravy on it, also didn't have much sausage gravy, so she asked for more and they charged him 4$ for a drop more!!!! Unbelievable. What a disaster. Again, food cold which is not cool, nickel and dime you for their food not coming out how it should, and severe lack of service. I think this place has potential, but need to pick it up, FOR SURE. Dont charge your hard working customers an extra 6$ bc you sent out meals with minimal sauce on it dry as a bone. We're just trying to support your small business, that's messed up. read more

I got pancakes that were absolutely disgusting, my bf got an omelet that had like 2 pieces of bacon in it and it was cold at that. The place looks nice but I would not recommend this place one bit. We brought my mom here to try it out and have a nice Mother's Day brunch and from start to finish it was truly a negative experience. I'm never one to leave a poor review, because things happen and some days and meals are better than others but this was horrible. The wait to be seated was long - made no sense since when they sat us there were over 5 empty tables. Our food was also delayed (some things needed to be requested several times), cold, and tasted awful. The portions were so small for the $45 a person price, too. Our waitress was kind, but so many people were involved in the service and nobody seemed to communicate with one another. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place to someone else. read more

Mack's is on its way to be Babylons next top brunch spot! Me and a few friends stopped by this Sunday to check it out and we were greeted with a cute bubbly hostess who made us feel welcomed instantly. The place was busy and it took a little time to get our food but that seems normal since they just opened. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which were DELICIOUS. Our waitress was super attentive and welcoming. The entire staff seemed very professional. I would definitely be coming back and am excited to see how they grow. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND read more
