Some of the best macarons I've ever had tbh. The location is a little hard to find at first, but the quality made it well worth it

The macarons here actually hit; they all taste unique! And this isn't just from this visit; they've…read morebeen selling their stuff during conventions on the street between the Seattle Convention Center Arch and Summit buildings, and I finally got to go to this brick-and-mortar location on a Saturday night around 8:20pm. I had a friend gathering to go to the same night, and wanted to bring some desserts so this place came to mind. For it being very wet and rainy, this place feels like a nice relief from all that with the bright lighting and the cafe-like feel of the place. There's a grassy wall near the back for photo ops, and there are some tables, window seating and front couch seating. They don't only sell macarons here; there's also coffee, tea, and macaron ice cream sandwiches. I got a baker's dozen, which comes with 12 randomly assorted regular-sized macarons in a small container. This particular one came with three limited flavors: red velvet, cran-orange and a pear-like flavor. They were marked separately on a card provided with the box that shows all their regular offerings of macaron flavors. This came to $36 compared to $40 for the same number of macarons if you wanted to choose specifically which flavors you wanted instead. I also got myself a Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich; each one is prepackaged and $8. Both people working at the counter were extremely helpful in helping me decide what to get, and explaining the differences between both sets. Flavor wise, I was not disappointed: - My Thai tea macaron ice cream sandwich hit the spot! The macarons did not come apart too easily and I could still maintain the shape of the sandwich throughout. Ice cream consistency is great, and the Thai tea flavor is not too strong. The whole thing is not too sweet by itself either, and this goes for all of their macarons in general. From other visits to their stand during conventions, I recommend their Cap'n Crunch berry, lemon, peach and durian flavors for ice cream sandwiches. - One of my friends and I loved the Vietnamese coffee flavored macaron. Taste is strong like phin-brewed coffee and it didn't have much sweet of a taste, something that would not have done well for this flavor. - The cran-orange and blueberry flavors were our other favorites; both had tastes that reminded me a lot of their respective flavors. - The box also had dark chocolate, vanilla, ube, Thai tea, pistachio and salted caramel flavors. All were decent and tasty. What I like about this place is that the taste for all of their macarons is exactly as advertised and never bogged down by the flavor that macaron shells are usually full of. I can't eat too many of these at once since they can be too sweet over time, so I would save these for a group setting where you can share these. By themselves, they are a great way to get your sweet tooth the love it needs!

Everything looked beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. I tried the toffee, salted caramel, honey lavender, oatmeal snickerdoodle, and strawberry rhubarb macarons. The honey lavender was light and floral without being overpowering, and the strawberry rhubarb had the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The salted caramel and toffee flavors were rich and indulgent, and the oatmeal snickerdoodle tasted warm and cozy with a cinnamon sugar flavor that stood out from the others. The macarons were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly textured. Definitely one of the best macaron spots locally!

One of my absolute favorites is Ding Dong (a chocolate-forward flavor that's rich and nostalgic, like an elevated version of a childhood treat). I also love the chocolate mint for something refreshing, and the oatmeal flavor has this cozy, comforting vibe that pairs perfectly with tea or coffee. They consistently nail the texture: lightly crisp on the outside with a soft, chewy center. I also really appreciate that there's indoor seating. The last time I went, my parents were visiting, and we sat inside sipping tea and chatting. It felt warm, cozy, and just really sweet. It's not just a grab-and-go dessert spot, it's somewhere you can linger. And every time I've gone, the women working there have been genuinely friendly and welcoming. That consistency makes such a difference. Such a cute little gem in Totem Lake. Perfect for gifting or a small afternoon treat!

While I'm not a huge fan of TLJ, one thing I'm impressed with is their consistency--as a chain…read morethey've managed to open coast to coast now in the US and maintain a stable standard, while bringing Asian-style western pastries to many markets that previously didn't have as much exposure. That being said Seattle's not one of those locations that specifically lacked in Asian bakeries, but certainly there was an untapped and growing demand for more, and TLJ was one of the ones to step in and fill the void. This location carries all the basic options and more, their cake menu for pre-order shows the entire range of cakes, something I don't necessarily see in some of the other smaller locations I've been to. Cakes depending on the size will run you about $40-80. Average pastries range from $3-8. Hot coffee and tea beverages are available though I haven't tried them at this location, and also some chilled drinks and desserts. This visit out of the purchase I tried the spinach cheese pastry which was a'ight but could've use a bit more filling and the Mont Blanc bread with was kinda like croissant dough baked in a loaf--lovely, flaky with a slight crisp and sweet brush of sugar on the outside. My co-purchasers got more of the whipped cream-filled pastries which weren't really my thing. Like other Asian bakeries they provide trays and tongs for self-service bread and pastry selection, then bring it up to the counter to pay. Cash and card accepted, no seats or dining section in this store.

Lots of variety, from savory to sweet. Probably like the mango cream croissant pistachio macarons…read morebest.
